Disgrace. Denied me from sitting an online exam I've paid for as well as the distinction deserved from passing their course. They have over 914 GBP from me in tuition and appeal fees. And have so far been nothing but a bunch of elitist frauds who've mistaken me for a giving tree. A leech is a leech. Big or small it may be, a leech is still a leech. If you want to donate to a ponzi scheme for privileged individuals, this is the place to go, but don't even expect a thank you. Leeches don't do that. Worst than collateralized debt obligations pooled in tranches this here institution. The term for someone who swindles you by looping you into becoming their giving tree and taking back what they gave you and more should be "British giver" and not "Indian giver." ☕????Apparently, the queen only comes out to remind you of your 1st aid responders and respecting people of other races and nationalities when you really need it but that doesn't really reflect the true face of your society as she hoped it would. May it crumble right before you for the exploitation you continue to commit. Save your money unless you are a gambler, have an Anglo-Saxon name, and a degree from a racially biased institution trying to pass as all inclusive.

Great place for a training session. Comfortable rooms with coffee and tea dock available in most rooms. Very well kept and in an historic location in Bloomsbury Square.

Reasonable meeting venue in central London. Some good bookshops nearby for after a meeting - as would be expected in Bloomsbury.

I was an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) for a number of years until I allowed my membership to expire. The CIArb is not a professional organisation that practice what they preach. Senior members of staff at the CIArb appear to have very poor grasp of the principles of natural justice, and the right to a fair and proper hearing. A complaint was raised against me by another member who was a Fellow. There does not appear to be any sifting process in place to weed out frivolous claims. The CIArb just simply allow both members to exchange written responses resulting in a flurry of emails. It also allows issues to become so distorted which provided the complainant member to mask up their own errors but this does not appear to be of concern for the CIArb. The person handling the complaint has since left the organisation. There was no opportunity to attend a hearing to make verbal submissions - the flurry of emails were taken as the bundle for the complaint and I was not provide any further opportunity to submit arguments. There was never any clear and specific deadlines throughout the entire process, allowing the matter to drag on for over 12 months. The panel of so-called arbitrators and members of the judiciary had decided to uphold some of their Fellow member's complaints in absence of any hearing. To this day, I do not even know the final outcome of this complaint which was supposed to be decided by a Peer Review Panel, at some point in the future, again, no specific timetable. I did not renew my membership as I was not prepared to belong to an organisation that is so hypocritical and does not uphold the spirit of natural justice by conducting complaints in a transparent and timely manner. A much higher standard is to be expected of an organisation that represents alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration. I gave one star but the CIArb deserve far less.
