As a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, I do visit the Burlington House headquarters a few times per year - it is not open to the general public but internally it is a great facility and can host meetings - the catering is very good indeed. It is also next to the RA and you can see all the art installations in the courtyard.

A great institution with a rich history of incredible scientists. I visited on an open day that had some special exhibits, presentations and activities for children. I do not know how interesting it would be to visit on a normal day, however, it may be a little dry and the science museum would be a better choice of venue to visit.

The Royal society of Chemistry at Burlington house is a beautiful building with a real air if history to every facet of the establishment. The society itself is one of the older Royal society's and hosts some truely brilliant events/conferences.
