The Car Wash Company Brighton

Terrible service would not recommend. We were left waiting 30 minutes after the time they specified the car would be ready. The exterior cleaning was rushed and and left spots and marks all over it. The inside had hardly been cleaned which we had paid extra for. I don’t reckon they even bother going inside the car. They didn’t even seem that busy. If possible definitely do not use this car wash!!

Terrible cleaning. I spent 50£ for a silver service on Friday afternoon. I didn’t look the car inside when I collected it. Just today with clear natural light, I have noticed the car is still very dirty, with obvious marks everywhere and not well aspirated either, not even a wet mop has been passed. I will not use them again.

Took my car there at the weekend gone, and have since had to pay to have the car professionally cleaned. Almost all the black plastics were white with polish, the joins in between panels were packed with left over polish. The bit that actually made me laugh out loud was where they washed my car, but left my wheels filthy. No due car or attention is taken by this company, and looking at the reviews now (something I had wished I had done before), this is a common occurrence. If I could leave a 0 star rating, I would. So have a ???????????????????? rating from me. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

£28 for a car wash. What a joke. Spokes of alloy wheels still muddy Bottom Of both doors still had mud on after wash. Rear bumper still dirty. Window smeared had to clean it off my self. Not worth a £10 Go somewhere else and get it done cheaper and better. don’t waste your money here.

UPDATE : To be fair on the Car Wash Company, they responded to my scathing review below and offered me both a refund and a free repeat car wash. You can't really ask for more, so kudos and credit where it is due. The repeat wash was EXCELLENT. There had clearly been a complete change of personnel and the guys now manning the car wash in the Brighton Churchill Square car park are now conscientious,thorough and know what they're doing. What a transformation. Just hope it stays that way. My review goes from 1 star to 5 stars as a result! Not impressed. Found a £25 receipt hidden away in the car after being charged £35 (yes, I'm a mug!). Next day (in daylight) saw all the parts they didn't clean. Looked like a rushed job, inside and out. Sorry, but it's an AVOID!

Absolute joke of a company. Rude beyond belief and the actual job they’ve just done is shocking. All the door pockets still filthy, smears all over the interior and dust and crumbs still everywhere. Dark inside the car park so the actual job they’ve done doesn’t show up until you leave and notice once already outside. Do not use these rude cowboys. Churchill square you should not be employing or allowing a company like this to work on your premises.

Asked for the car to be washed while attending a meeting. I was told a wash and hoover would be £28.95. Queried the fee and was pointed to the 'Gold sparkle` service which included boot vacuumed, tyres dressed and deodorising. Made the first mistake of not driving away! Came back 1 1/2 hours later and initially could not get any of the staff to take payment. Made the second mistake and didn't have a look at the car before driving off. Got home to find the boot was untouched, the back of the car hadn't been hoovered properly and the tyres were still dirty. Should have driven away when given the price! Subsequently called to discuss the above but no call back. Couldn't give a NIL star rating otherwise I could not leave the post. Drive away!

It has reached to my concern on how the customer service of this business gone - out of the window and it got worst. I support the business idea of saving water yet achieving almost the same result. This is the second time I had my car washed to notice that it is not done properly and has left some marks of dirt (as I notice it once I got back home) in a bid to finish the job quickly. They also have moved the price higher yet with the same ridiculous service especially the car wash attendant being rude. I have also asked a favour if he could just wipe the side door inserts as will only take around 2 - 5 seconds. The car wash attendant refused and said that I have to pay for the inside cleaning which will cost more than £10 for having the side door wiped. I do understand it is a business, but that is not too much to ask considering they were not even busy. For the new price they charge compared to the service they provide I will never come back again, even my friends were unsatisfied by the way how they treat customers.

Was my first time using this car valeting service and there were lots of empty bays. The man was really rude to me, not even asking what I wanted but just looked at me. I said I'd like the silver and all he did was bark at me 'How long you going to be?'. I wasn't sure how long I could leave the car so I asked him how long it would take and he just barked again but in a really exasperated tone. 'How long?!?'. My husband was with me and we were both so shocked at how he spoke to me. The car was clean on my return but not a patch on the place up near Preston park. And it was more expensive! Never again.

AVOID! Rude manager guy and all they do is literally smear around the dirt leaving smudge marks and skip out anything where you have to bend over properly. Oh and then there is the price!? We went silver.. next time we’ll go elsewhere

Left car at 1.50pm asking for bronze clean with not all bays taken. Returned at 4.25pm to be told "had no time to clean your car!" Shocking!! Avoid....
