Absolute con artists. Avoid at all costs!! I purchased an e92 m3 from here last year. Before we got home the car went into limp mode. They did not provide my with warranty after carefully wording the bill of sale to avoid this knowing the car was riddled with issues. The car had rod bearing damage and was totally and utterly damaged beyond repair. They happily took £12,000 for this, shook my hand smiled in my face and let me drive home in danger. After asking for a refund, I was threatened with their legal team and never received a penny back. If you phone them up you’ll speak with your typical wide boy over the top sales man who will sell an ice cube to an Eskimo “it’s a lovely motor” “an absolute gem” more like an absolute scam. Please, please do not skip over this review. You have been warned. I checked over their other reviews which seemed fairly positive, but within mass of good reviews you will find several deadly experiences like mine. Don’t ignore these if your buying a high value car. These guys want your money and then want to hear nothing from you. Again - you have been warned! Avoid at all costs or ruin your year and your pocket!!!

An amazing experience, something I have never experienced elsewhere. I would definitely recommend Browns Autos to anyone, even if you have to travel it’s well worth the trip. It’s a family run business. There is a range of vehicles for sale and all kept clean and tidy. I was never pushed into anything and I received a great deal. It’s a very happy working environment and you feel that when you walk in. I took the car on a test drive, which was brilliant. I was shown what was on the car and the history of the car. You was made to feel very relaxed. I would definitely come back in the future without any hesitation. Everyone was happy, friendly and helpful. Thank you all.

I recently bought a car from Browns and I cannot recommend them highly enough. It was a three hour round trip to buy from them but most certainly worth it. They issued a new MOT prior to purchase even though it had six months remaining. The test drive was thorough, not pushy and not the condescending approach I have experienced with others (we've all been there ladies!). They know their cars and answered any questions I had. The car is exactly what I was looking for and the aftercare to sort our a minor issue has been awesome, friendly and quick. Thanks guys! :)

We recently purchased a car through Browns Autos and throughout the procedure they were friendly and professional. Danny in particular was great to deal with and guided us through the process making it all feel very easy. On our second outing with the car, something went wrong but after ringing them up they reassured us and within 48 hours they had our car back with us with the problem solved at no additional cost and absolutely no hassle on our end. I cannot rate this company highly enough. If you want peace of mind when buying a car I would definitely recommend them.

I was very sceptical about the number of 5-star reviews given to Browns Autos. But, having now met James, Josh and Dad, I can believe all the reviews. Very refreshing attitude, they make you feel you are their only customer. I’ve enjoyed the whole buying process, plenty of honesty, listening and communication, and the car I bought, an Overfinch Range Rover is fabulous; sorry James it’s a keeper ????. Many thanks guys!

Great service, to be honest I had been apprehensive with the idea of purchasing a car before driving it but was assured by Danny and the team that the car drove well, true to their word the car is fantastic, more than happy with the purchase, everything that was discussed at the initial viewing in terms of carrying out cosmetic changes, had been done so and the workmanship of excellent quality. Wow! Brown's Auto's are such a friendly, family run business. Super happy and simply over the moon with our Nissan Qashqai picked up Saturday during very weird covid times but made to feel like friends Danny and Josh helped us by answering any questions and car on a 65 plate looks and drives like new! A fantastic buying experience from start to finish. Polite, friendly but professional. Give you a complete test drive, and go above and beyond to help you through the selection and buying process. They did an MOT after purchase and replaced advisory items free of charge on my Astra... The license plate light bulb failed a few days after the MOT but I took it back to Brown's autos and they got it replaced on the spot.

I bought a car from Brown's Autos last year, the buying experience was lovely, they wers happy to answer all my questions and respectful throughout the process. To no fault of their own there were some initial issues with the car (squeaky brakes and a cigarette burn from the previous owner) and even within all the Covid chaos these issues were sorted quickly with no extra stress to me (which is ideal). It's easy to say these guys are great when you have a simple transaction but their quick actions to fix issues really showed their genuine, honest approach to their work. Nice work guys! Will be recommending you to anyone that asks!

I cannot praise Danny and his team enough. I bought a lovely car from them at a very reasonable price and they helped me secure a buyer for my convertible (out of season) and during this current pandemic.
Nothing seemed too much trouble and I was always able to contact them. I would recommend this garage to anyone and I will be a repeat customer when the time comes.

I recently brought a car from them and the whole buying experience was fantastic from the moment I walked on the forecourt they were polite and well presented and weren't pushy in selling the car. And when we made a deal they did everything they could to have the car ready in 3 days but amazingly even this was done in 2. And every member of staff when they would come in the office would greet you and shake your hand you are made to feel so welcome. I would recommend them to all my freinds and family and in the future they will be my 1st stop in buying a car.

Very welcoming the moment I came in, was trying to get rid of a car after being mugged off for a substantial amount of money by a private seller. They were sympathetic and extremely helpful, trying to add value to my car before they bought it! They were very welcoming and extremely competent, after about 15 minutes they had sorted the service history, HPI check and gave advice even before intentions rose to make me an offer. I eventually sold the car to them with the money in my account immediately. To top it off they got me back home about 30mins away. Highly recommend!

I didn't think buying second hand cars was supposed to be this stress-free and enjoyable! From the initial contact and test drive, to dropping off my old car and driving away my new car, the experience was second to none. The team at Browns were always friendly and never pressured for the sale. The car was well priced and in great condition. They even corrected a couple of minor MOT advisories without any question. I would definitely recommend these guys.

I’d like to say how great these guys are at Browns Autos! They gave us great advice, and were lovely genuine guys. We bought a mini from them which I had checked over by a mini specialist the day after we bought it as I’ve been burnt by car dealers before. Our mini specialist said the car was great. Fantastic customer service, friendly and helpful. The guys there went over and above expectations in helping me find the perfect car and getting me on the road within 24 hours. They let you take the cars on a nice long test drive to make sure your happy with your chosen car and run through all the dynamics with you. You get 6 months warranty as well which is reassuring when buying a second hand car, but they check them all anyway. On top of that, they make a good cup of coffee too! Thanks guys!

If you're like me and take a while over car purchase then this is the place for you. I read all the reviews on quality second hand cars and lo and behold there is always a good selection at Brown's. Their knowledge of all the vehicles on sale is excellent. They walk through the car's service history with you if you need it and make the purchase a very pleasant experience. It doesn't end there; post-sale service is excellent, any problems are listened to and an immediate solution is offered. I received a one year warranty with my car but I also received confidence and assurance that if I have a problem with my car at anytime it will be dealt with speedily and with no fuss. That's six star service in my book!

You can trust Browns Autos 100%. I have purchased 3 vehicles from this company in 2 years and recommended friends who have bought cars from them too. The service I have received from them is second to none and the quality of cars they sell are excellent. I have been treated better by Browns than when I have visited main Dealers looking to spend much more. They also offer a first class warranty which I have claimed on twice now with two different cars. I have had no problems with them at all.

I paid £6000 for a faulty car. They refused to acknowledge responsibility for the fault (hole in radiator) that caused the car to overheat after 3 months after purchase. They agreed to split excess after warranty for a fix to engine, trying to blame me for damage to the engine. Three weeks after the car was 'fixed' it overheated again. They told me it was an unrelated issue and had now been fixed. Obviously dubious I got the AA To check it over. They revealed a leaking radiator. Browns have refused to acknowledge responsibility and refused to fix the problem. The matter is going to court! They are deeply unprofessional and I would 'steer' clear at all costs! Bunch of dishonest cowboys after your money.
