Nice location always busy, food a little on the steep side don't go for the salads as the portion size is a little in the stingy side (especially the salt beef) could do with more power dockets for device charging in the main lounges.

Impressive building, meeting rooms are reasonable but lack the expected finesse or the required connections to av equipment, no smart boards etc Catering is ridiculously expensive for what is delivered, as are the printing costs.

The IoD is a great place to hold informal meetings with a cafe / bar in the basement and a more formal restraunt up stairs.
The drop in nature of the location means that you can struggle for a seat however.

What's not to like about the IoD - sometimes it gets a little busy, but the fresh mint tea is the best in London, the member rooms are well equipped, the staff are great.

I quite the buzz of business in the air at the IoD. The friendly staff make visiting more of a pleasure and the hot chocolates are quite special too.
The wine bar is a great social spot cosy and quite with elderflower and soda water available as a lovely refreshment....of course the wine list is good and reasonably priced
