First class service with a comfortable atmosphere and great advice.
I bought a new bike with all the extra bits ie helmet, locks and gloves. I was given great advice about what to buy and was not pressured into buying the most expensive stuff just the gear that I liked and suited me.
I would recommend this place to anyone, If you need a little advice and for things to be explained clearly this is the place to go!!

I took my Piaggio typhoon to The shepherd's Bush branch of central bikes and I was very unhappy with the service that I received. I took it in to have a cambelt replaced which cost £148. The work was completed by two young boys at the reception. A couple of hours later, i went to pick up my bike and both the boys said that they replaced the cambelt but I now have an oil leak. At first, I didnt believe them because I know I didn't have an oil leak as I park my bike on my drive every night. I took my bike away and from the very next day my bike started pouring oil out from the cambelt area. So much oil was leaking that it was going onto my back wheel and covering it in oil causing it to slip and skid! I could have had an accident! I contacted the owner of the central bikes store called Dan and Ross and they denied any knowledge or acknowledgement that it was their staff at fault and that they don't do things like that and it's a proper and professional service they offer. I beg to differ! I said to them that i will not be paying any extra money to them to repair oil leaks when there was no original oil leak! My bike is only 8 months old from brand new!. I must say that the staff are very very friendly and this is why the majority of the reviews are positive is because of the friendly service but beware because they are only friendly so that they can start scamming money out of you by causing problems to your bikes which were never a problem in the first place. Its a technique that they use to bump up costs! Have you wondered why this store is always empty? It's because no one wants to come down here to give their business because when they do, they always get this problem that they are very very friendly with you but they have a secret and hidden agenda where they want to take all your money out of you by creating problems. A reviewer on here also claimed that they were very friendly but they charged him £800 for an oil leak! Probably because they created the oil leak in the first place. The two boys who repaired my bike also were seen smoking marijuana outside the shop during the break. I saw them doing this when I came to collect the bike! This does not sound professional service at all. I would advise that you avoid this place at all costs, there are plenty of garages around the shepherd's Bush area which offers garage services for bikes. If you want to ride safely on the road and not be killed by bad business practice and bad garage and repair services, then central bikes is definitely a place to avoid. They are expensive, do a bad job, and they bump up costs deliberately by tampering with your bikes. Only good thing about this place is they are friendly but if you want friends, then this is a good place for you.

I do not want you touching my bike again. I have already spoken to the manager Dan and i got the idea he has been encouraging this type of business activity. I guess a fraud is a fraud. My review will remain to keep others alert. AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT TO STAY ALIVE ON YOUR BIKE!

Great shop. I have been using their services for over 3 years. They are very professional and quick when it comes to reparis. It's a small shop but their process is very good and efficient. I have recently purchased a new bike from them and it took only 3 days to have it ready on the road. Couldn't recommend them enough.

Customer service is fantastic. An owner of my Vespa for 18 months, I returned with a puncture. Lily noticed a number of other issues and contacted Piaggio and received new parts under warranty. Bike runs like a dream. Guy and Lily have been great. Lily made dealing with a mechanics workshop a seamless process from start to finish. Highly recommended.

After having had a bad experience with another scooter dealer I took my Vespa to be serviced to them and both Michele and Vito (the bike mechanics) did a good job at a reasonable price.
Some time later I bought a Piaggio Meddley from them (love it.) and Guy gave me a good deal and a super swift delivery.
Guy had proven to be very reasonable even in a previous instance issuing a refund no questions asked on a item I had bought from them.
They may be not the cheapeast ones but it's central London.. they know what to do and always deliver a good service.
I'll be happily keep on going to them and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who doesn't want to be messed around.
With them you can be sure you get what you pay for.

I have had a scooter for many years though as I wasn't happy with the company I had been using, I thought I would try them due to the reviews I had seen.
I'm very glad I did as they picked up on major issues with my breaks which was one of the reasons I was there, and provided an exemplary service. Dan and Norbert were very helpful and explained everything to me very transparently.
Needless to say I will be bringing my Honda back here whenever a service or MOT is required and when there are any issues with the bike.

Brilliant! Exceptional service, care and knowledge. My transition to a Piaggio MP3 500 ABS from 2 wheels was painless, expert and extremely helpful. From start to finish I was very impressed. The bike/trike/scooter is AMAZING and the best bit of kit on the market. Guy was very level headed, no upselling and on the money with advice and tips. The bike was prepared in 2 days and every part of the transaction was very professional and confidence boosting. It's been an absolute pleasure dealing with Central Bikes !
I phoned the shop looking to purchase a new Gilera Runner in Black. They didn't have that colour in stock and advised me it would be a few weeks if they ordered the black one, they had a White Soul one ready to go but I really wanted the Black Soul version.
Guy at Central Bikes offered to ring round other dealerships to see if he could source me one elsewhere and true to his word he located one for me ! ????
The process was painless and all done via email with Guy. No need for me to visit the shop other than on the day to collect me bike.
Arriving at the shop there was just 2 signatures required from myself and I was on my way !!!!
Very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere at the shop.

Bought my brand new Vespa PX 125 from them in 2013. It was delivered with a clutch issue, and electrical issues which means that the bike would sporadically not start.
The bike was returned on four separate occasions, with the problem not being fixed and was told each time to 'just get the LX instead'.
Was in the initial stages of getting my lawyer involved to fully return the bike for a full refund, but alas, the AA man solved the issue for me after the bike failed to start, again, in Clapham.
Can't stress enough just how bad the service was. Avoid at all costs.

SCAM GARAGE - Booked my 2011 bike in for an MOT, when I called them back they said it had failed miserably. They said to fix all the parts would cost close to £400. When I asked them about the retest, they said they had not done the MOT, just checked it over and these are the things it would fail on...
Took the bike for a second opinion to a respectable garage, they told me the £400 of work Central bikes had quoted for the MOT were just advisories and would not fail an MOT. Had my bike tested and passed no problem. Central Bikes are scammers and make money of conning people in to having work done that is not required, they also charge £65 + VAT per hour for labor whereas other garages charge as little as £35. Save your money and avoid this garage at all costs!

It has taken me an age to write this review but Guy and the team here were pretty cool over the whole procedure of getting me up and running on my Vespa Privera. Always they've been there for my previous bike needs and pretty damn promptly too.
All in all, I won't be needing another bike for a while but will always remain faithful to that shop.

I only bought my brand new Vespa a couple of hours ago and had to comment on the excellent service I received from Central Bikes. From the moment I made my first enquiry, all the way until I drove off from the shop, they were brilliant.
A special mention to Norbert who guided me through the whole process and answered all my questions while putting up with my indecision regarding accessories and helmet colours.
Their attitude gives me confidence regarding the after service as they are clearly there to ensure that buying and maintaining a scooter is a stress free experience.

Dan, Guy and the team always make an effort to provide a great service, purchased an MP3 500 from them they promised congestion charge wouldn't be a problem but suggested autopay as would probably get pinged once or twice a month, so do autopay to be safe.
Beyond that, they've always done their best to make the pricing as cheap as possible and delivered a great service.
Highly recommended.
