R. Agius is simply a great shop. As a young classic scooter owner, I am really attached to the history of institutions I visit - R. Agius is steeped in history! Beyond that, my visits have been brilliant. A couple years ago I dropped by to check it out and pick up some spares - the senior mechanic back then (Mauro) threw in some little bits for free, amazing. My next visit was to get the points cleaned on my scooter, done in 20 mins of dropping it off. Next, I had an ugly crash and David took care of the body work - expertly done, cheap, and quick. Today I dropped my scooter off due to some worrying knocking noise in the rear end. John, the mechanic (great guy) found the problem (worn out hub nut), fixed it, and adjusted my brakes within the hour. Granted these may be small jobs (save the bodywork) but simply things that I hadn't had the experience to look for. They are friendly, accommodating, experienced, and very speedy!! After having been mucked about by many garages, I couldn't recommend R. Agius any more!

Very efficient and knowledgeable staff from front desk to the individual mechanic.
After service and care is very important to me and I can’t thank them enough. I’ve had three Vespa’s from them and all have been excellent. With both there generosity and assistance they have helped me source special pieces for my bike as illustrated with the attached photos.
Can’t thank R Argius enough.

Not very reliable in my experience, I recommend to go to other places. In my experience I had much better customer service and I felt more trustworthy dealings in other places. Every time I dealt with them I felt they were trying to trick me into some bad deal using some cheap sale tactics

my wife recommended r aguis & the timing was perfect as i was looking to purchase a scooter. david had a vespa that ticked all the boxes and he spent a week getting it ready for me with a full service, mot & supply & fit of a winter blanket. a good quality oxford cover was thrown in for free. the purchase & experience is of the standard i expect & i had no doubts otherwise my wife would not have recommended them. ive been back since for david to check a squeeking sound which he confirmed was normal but the best bit was replacing a light fitting which i was unaware had gone but david said if i was happy with a second hand one he wouldn't charge me(dont expect this regularly) david clearly knows about the value of customer retention. an excellent find & i have the confidence for all future works or services that ill be looked after and not taken for a ride(good pun)

The worst place to take your scooter to be fixed, they tell you it needs way more things that it really does.
I have been taking three years my vespa and they totally destroyed it.
Also they kept putting nails in the wheels every time i had it serviced (5 times in 3 years) and the excuse was always that London is full of them in the street.
Is truly the last place i would recommend being Mauro the mechanic and being charged by another person.

I honestly cannot speak highly enough of this place, nor the family who run it. I've bought a scooter from them which they have maintained to an excellent standard for me ever since. They offer honesty, good value, expert knowledge, great customer care, and very high standards of work. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Fantastic customer service. I have been using R Agius to look after my scooters for nearly 8 years. I've also bought from them too. The service I have always received is honest, fair, friendly, efficient, fast and very reliable. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

R Aigus knows scooters full stop...more importantly R Aigus knows customer service amen. Whilst between garages and after an incident, I was met with impeccable service, kindness and a can-do attitude from Mauro, Claude and David. This team obviously loves what they do and those of us on bikes lucky to know them are all the better off for it! thanks guys!

This is a charming family run shop and repair unit. Lots of great personalities in there to make the experience enjoyable.
I believe they have a very good understanding of the kit and equipment and am sure the work they do is of good quality.
With all this said, make sure you have a clear understanding of what you are paying for and how much it will be.
140 ponds for a clean mot and oil change is shocking at best.

Nice bunch, very friendly. Rebuilt my engine after i got completely conned by Urban Riders in Fullham who sold me a dud bike. Bike has worked perfectly for 5 years since. Always use them now because they are honest and good

Hi, if you would like to save yourself time, money and keep your blood pressure where it doesn`t boil over - then steer clear of these absolute bunch of chancers. They will con you, talk down to you like something on the bottom of their shoes and then leave you with a scooter in a worse condition than it was before you visited them. The oldest scooter shop in London? try the worst scooter shop in London.
Sincerely - DON`T WASTE YOUR TIME! but hey if you like your customer service to be nothing short of appalling then get yourself down there.

Absolutely appalled and disgusted by the customer service of the 'children' at this dealer, apparently they are a family run dealer and I spoke to a genuinely nice man by the name of Claude. He accommodated a visit to the shop on Sunday even though it was after hours to answer some questions I had regarding the gts 300 and px 125. The px piqued my interest and I went on to do a lot of reading on the model and the brand. I was excited at the thought of owning this icon that the next day on Monday morning I called the dealer to arrange a test drive. Claude answered and we had a brief chat and I told him I would try and make it down sometime during the week even though it was hugely inconvenient for me as the weekend was better but I was too excited to wait. So on Tuesday I got the bank to transfer the money to buy the bike outright to my account and called Claude at lunchtime to say that I would be free to test ride the bike in the afternoon. He told me to come by no later than 5:30pm. I reached the dealership at 4:30pm and spoke to a lady who, after looking me up and down immediately and sarcastically told me that the only way I was going out on a px was as a pillion because I have no experience riding a px... That as soon as I was out on the road I would be pulling intentional wheelies up and down the street... I could understand if it was a joke but she was deadly serious! I have never been so insulted in my entire life, I told her that I have ridden a few scooters, granted they weren't manual but I also own a Kawasaki er6f and a Honda cbf125 which I have ridden for 2 years so have experience with a clutch and that I was 33 not 17. She flat out refused to listen, talking over me and even with Claude (apparently her father) trying to reason with her she started shouting at him making a tremendous scene. It was appallingly unprofessional. I had the money, I had the interest but after being spoken to like that I'll never look at another Vespa again for a long time. I chose this dealership based on the positive reviews on google but after this I am utterly disgusted and it was a waste of time. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being judged, shouted at and spoken rudely to.
