I rarely write a bad review for a company. I bought a remanufactured Rack and Pinion for my Tacoma 2003, thinking it would work out better that their "New Aftermarket" version.
The part arrived in a carbox with no cushoning material. The box was all banged up and oil everywhere. The custome service rep mentioned that it was normal for oil to leak around the box, since the part was "prelubricated" before shipping.
The car drove amazing after the part was installed, but the next day, as soon as I got into Highway speeds, the steering wooble came back, and I was able to see oil leaking under the car.
Customer services reps refuse me any kind of credit (I had to pay for Installation and wheel alignment, and will have to do it again), and refuse to put me in contact with a manager to discuss further options.

Beware if you buy parts on Ebay they do not deliver the parts as listed. When you call and ask the say it was listed wrong tuff luck.

Ok so far so good! Great product my only complaint would be the shipping being .02 cent difference for 2-day shipping and 3-day shipping of course I select the two days, but the package arrived in three business days... didn’t like that scam very much. I 2010 Hyundai ELANTRA AC compressor works fantastic!! Thanks again!

Company sells defective parts...2 power steering pumps..arrived defective and screeching loud noise.
They will not refund...over 2 years I have dealt with this issue. They finally sent another part. After another full day to remove and install new one, it was defective. You cannot talk to anyone except 'scripted emails'. They overcharge for parts and use cheap spray can paint and call it a rebuilt part. The paint fell off in one day of driving and the cap they cheaply have molded was not to spec.
Save yourself from nightmare experience and buy elsewhere.

I bought a brand new turbo for my truck. The turbo I got was faulty. It leaks oil all over hell. The turbo was professional installed. The turbo wasn’t used just a straight up faulty part. They said it’s not there fault and percent of there parts are bad. They are refusing to help make things right and expect me to pay the shop again for another turbo replacement. If you are thinking of buying a part from them to save money don’t. There are much better companies out there that stand behind there products and name.

I always call in to the sales or tech professionals to give all necessary info of the car I am working on to best get the part I need right the first time, especially when its a 900.00 turbo kit, so when the first one arrived wrong contacting the company back thru there customer service department proved very challenging ,,, but when they assured me both thru customer service and sales that the second one would be right, I paid again and got the same wrong part.Now 1800.00 dollars later on there mistake in there catalog I get poor service and hang ups with no explanation or time frame on a refund on 2 wrong turbos,,,, best of luck with this company

This company is no better than Four Seasons!!! I ordered an a/c compressor for my 1992 Mustang that is advertised as an exact factory replacement and guess what??? The casing is correct but is has the wrong clutch and plug assembly. Customer service asked for pictures of it and after seeing them they acknowledged that it was wrong. I told them since you DON'T have any more compressors in stock and nobody knows if and when you will receive more I said I would be willing to swap the clutch/pulley myself if you would send me the correct one. They said ok but I would have to pay the $100 plus myself for the correct clutch. Then their brilliant automotive tech said for me to just splice the wires from the compressor to my wiring harness and it SHOULD be ok. I also told them with the pulley being bigger the factory belt DOES NOT FIT and again they told ME to buy a bigger belt and it SHOULD work. I'm not asking for hand out but this is BuyAutoParts fault not mine. I will be posting my experience with BuyAutoParts.com in all the automotive threads I belong to and don't belong to letting people know to avoid this business if at all possible.

Is this what a consumer should expect speaking to an American sales specialist? At the beginning of the call, salesperson confirmed they had inventory but then would not honor the pricing on their website claiming they were out of stock. Salesperson suggested I call back and “promised” he would honor the pricing. On the next call, I explained what happened. After long hold times and being transferred from Sales to Customer Service and then back to Sales, my call was disconnected. Not terribly surprising but thought I should post my experience so others can make an informed decision before purchasing from this company.

I orderd a ac radiator on 7/23/20 with a one day air shipping and unfortunately I still havent received it due to incorrect address on senders side. Package is now at their facility and got a refund approved but still no update of any source or contact yet. I been trying to reach them but its impossible to reach a person unless you need to buy a part.

Easy to see what my car needed. Easy to order online. But I panicked and called with my VIN to make SURE it was right. They were professional and courteous. My mechanic was happy I got all the right stuff and I was happy to get it so reasonable and fast!

1. Received a defective Rack and Pinion (Leaks at Pitman Shaft Seal)
2. 1 hour 30 minutes of waiting to talk to a representative.
3. Customer Representative and I couldn't agree on the resolution, so he puts me on infinite hold. (Their way of saying F%%k You)
4. I now have to return the part and will be out $110 for another wheel alignment and power steering fluid cost.
Save yourselves time and money. Do not purchase parts from BuyAutoParts.

Bought shocks / strut assemblies at a great price ... somehow the rear ones appeared ahead of schedule instead of the front. I got on the phone and the mix-up was fixed. I am impressed by their return shipping with no questions asked. The front ones arrived and I was re-funded for the rear ones I returned. I fitted them last weekend on one of my 2009 Toyota Camry's and the ride is sweet . I will buy again from BuyAutomParts ... approx half price of the retail stores.

I ordered parts for my sons car then received an email stating there was an issue with the order. I checked my credit card and seen it was charged. I called the number provided but they were closed until Monday. I was skeptical and thought I might have been scammed.
I called them Monday and finally got someone on the phone after waiting about 30 minutes. The issue ended up being that I didn’t provide a complete address for the delivery location; my fault. Once the address was corrected the parts were ordered and received within three days. Front strut assemblies fit my sons car perfect. Even with the skepticism after reading other reviews, I give them five stars for price, professionalism, and will definitely order from them again.

Arrived in well packed box . In new condition as ordered . One year warranty on compressor .I had replaced this system two years ago so I had to warranty it out at shop and labor expenses. I thought it had a limited life time warranty . That is what I had told my customer . But that is ok I made a mistake . The compressor did not come apart it was the clutch rubber drive that went out . One more happy customer .Just wish these were not so hard to replace .Great service

I'm pleased at the speed of delivery from the day I ordered my shocks till the day they were delivered by UPS was only2 days and all for free. Many times "free" means six to nine business days. More impressive was that more than one shop recommeded these replacements. BAP is definitely the best place to order parts.

If I purchase some shocks from here only to realize that I found a better price on a different website so I called up the next day to cancel this order keep in mind I place this order very late at night so I called in the next day early in the morning spoke to someone and was told and reassured that the order would be cancelled couple days later I did the package in the mail even though I cancel this and even though I was reassured I still got this package. I let them know immediately after I receive the package that I have cancel this order and they seemed like they didn't care because they didn't try to help me out in any way to fix this issue I understand that there was some type of miscommunication on their part between them and shipping but for me to get this part after I cancelled is an issue now this is where it gets worse after I got the part I called them letting them know that I was going to ship it back that I needed a return label they told me that I have to pay for it even though they made the mistake so definitely I'm not going to deal with these people anymore

I needed a fan assembly quickly for my car and was going to go with Amazon, but unfortunately made the mistake of choosing BAP based on delivery. I called to verify on 3/22, and was told delivery would be 3/26 as the website listed it as shipping 3/22.
So far nothing has happened as they communicated to me...it didn't ship till 3/25 and now delivery is Friday 3/29...a week from when I ordered.
I hope the part arrives in tact as I doubt I will ever buy anything from BAP again...

My mother purchased a part may 25 I’ve called over 8 times to be out on hold for over an hour and wait to be hung up on. I’ve emailed 20 plus times. My mom is a U S merchant mariner who is on a military ship I can’t get her email password to log in to fill out the proper return forms. I’ve communicated this. So I continue to be told call the 1800 number but guess what I start at number 30 get all the way to the next caller and don’t you know disconnected. This is the worst purchase we’ve ever done on line. Do Not purchase from here they are awful.
