Stopped by the reading branch today. Nice guys checked in my phone made sure it was all working (aside from the cracked screen) and 40 mins later picked it up and looked brand new. Picked up a new phone case whilst there and happy with everything. Spoke to a couple of people on the phone to make sure they had my screen in stock and everyone I interested had amazing customer service. Would definitely recommend phone surgery to others!!!

I would just like to say that the experience I had in the Phone Surgery was nothing short of excellent. World class service, empathetic, knowledgeable, helpful and professional. A special shout out to Ian who sorted me with a decent short term phone while I saved money for a repair on my posh phone. I have visited the Phone Surgery-Reading, twice and on both occasions, have had very good customer service and care. The Product I had was Faulty and had to get it repaired. Before having to paid anything, I was given a full run down on what they were doing and the next steps that had to be taken before any costs. The staff are very friendly and well advised. Anyone who has a problem with their Phones, Kindles and most gadgets can take it to this repair Shop and get it sorted. I recommend Phone Surgery-Reading to anyone who asks about problem they can't fix themselves. Thank you to the staff who helped make it easy and comfortable to get my item fixed.

I broke the screen on my iPhone yesterday and made an appointment to have it repaired at the Apple Store today. They gave me a slot for 1310. I arrived at 1309 but was told to wait outside for 20 minutes and that once I was inside it was likely to take another 20 minutes before I would be seen. I gave up there and walked to the Phone Surgery in the hope of help. Wow, what a difference: I was seen straight away, seated, brief details taken and asked to return half an hour later. All was done when I went back and instead of putting in a new screen they said that all I had damaged was the screen protector. They had replaced this for me. All three guys in the shop were friendly and beyond helpful as well as being clearly knowledgable. And it cost me £24.99 instead of the more than £150 Apple were proposing to charge!

First let me clarify, if you don't want to read the whole thing:
They claim that all the properties of the phone go back as the factory state, including waterproofness and all. (if they're lucky you might)
1, They are NOT TAKING ANY GUARANTE NOR ANY RESPONSABILITY for their work.
2, The warranty they're talking about, is the manufacturer's warranty, which most of the time you get anyway...
3, Yes, if they do a S#ITTY job, they will redo it for free. Yes, if the second time didn't make it right either, they'll give it a go again... until you don't notice any problem, or they can't blame it on you.
However, if there is any problem arising as a consequence of their poor workmanship, now that is NOT their fault, but the customer's (as they claim), and not only most of the time will dismiss the manufacturer’s warranty, but also it will be a good day for them to work on your phone, on your expense again!
--------Quick summary:------------
If you're happy to take a roulette and just a blind fate in them, and don't mind if anything goes wrong is your fault, then go ahead, and use their service. Otherwise, I'd use the slightly more expensive, but the official service for these problems.

Summary:
If my phone gets F#%ed because they did a poor job, they are not feeling any responsibility at all. The customer service failed when the manager instead of answering a question, acted as a child, poor communication skills and taking me for an idiot. (OK, maybe I was a bit not asking the right question before I dealt with them) He suggested that I go somewhere else, and get it fixed by someone else. I took matters into my own hand, and ordered the genuine parts from the net, with all the necessary tools for it, and even with a 30% margin, I take my chance to fix it myself with free guide and all help online. If they work on it, until I don’t notice anything, and they blame any issue caused by the repair on me, why not learn how to do it for free, and spend a few hours with it? If I mess up, I blame myself only, and learn at least, than trust some salesmen with no pride in their work.

went in to replace the screen on my phone first off I paid more for the screen replacement than the actual phone but also this was in July time I've had it 6 months ish and the screen is coming off the phone causing it to glitch and essentially become completely unusable had to go get a new phone now dont see how you can charge £100+ for a screen replacement that'll only last 6 months
