I visited here to exchange a significant amount of Euros and the service was so rude. The man behind the till made a mistake on the conversion and I was almost ripped off £2000. When I questioned the amount another man behind the counter told me rudely "Hurry up and decide or get out of here". I found it disgusting to treat me that way when I am exchanging a large amount of money. Terrible service and rude staff, be careful when changing your money and always do your own calculations don't rely on theirs. This visit took place 26/11/2019 at 12:04PM.

If I could give this place no stars I would. I went there today and was extremely upset with the service. I asked them to exchange some pounds for euros. I asked them what the rate was and they said it was 1.09. I told them I am a frequent customer and was given a special exchange rate card to get better rates. They ignored what I said and said that 1.09 was there exchange rate. I asked them again because I thought maybe they did not hear me because they did not seem to acknowledge what I said. Again they said this is the exchange rate. I was told by my friend, who recommend this place for me, that Thomas Exchange can negotiate. So I told them I found a better rate in John Lewis, it's 1.10, they spoke amongst themselves and said "for you it's 1.08". As upset as I was, I politely said "no thank" you and left. I was extremely disappointed and will never return. John Lewis has great rates though, so I will not be missing much from Thomas Exchange anyway.

Guys please be very VERY careful at the time they are doing the exchange on their computers and please do check the exchange rates online before hand.
Today, Monday October 07th I went to exchange my money, Euros to Indian Rupees. As it was about my 15th times (no jokes!) going to exchange my money at this place, I was very secure and got much trust towards their service. Well today I got to say it is my last time as I was very disappointed.
I did change 300 Euros in Indian Rupees which supposed to be 23414.11 INR. What I did receive from them is 20500.00 INR. Big big difference. Might have been a bit distracted at that moment but I seriously did not aspect it from them. I still got my receipts with all details on it and happy to show it to everyone or simply to spread the words around.

My mother used their money transfer services and on their end the sent the money to the wrong details.
Which led for the money to bounce back and a £250 charge which was not disclosed.
There was nothing in their terms and conditions which explained that this would happen.
BE WARNED THEY ARE STEALING PEOPLES MONEY!!

Excellent rates offered here, but do ensure you prebook online to get the best rates (no card / guarantee details are needed online to prebook). The staff are sometimes a little short once hearing it's been prebooked online, but they are fine. There will likely be a line here out of the door at lunchtime and early evening. There's are free RBS/Santander ATMs around a minute walk away (towards Westminster direction) if you need to withdraw cash beforehand.

Firstly, I would like to say I have often come here to get my currency exchanged and until today had a wonderful experience. I came in at 14.30 today, my experience of the cashier Sundry?was, he mumbled his words, was rude and patronising, and when handing me the money, I was unsure if he counted it correctly, whereupon he then ordered me to stand in a corner and count it for myself. The misogyny in his behaviour was palpable and distressing to be on the receiving end off; maybe some staff training would not go amiss.

These guys are so good. They're fast at getting you your cash and knowledgeable when it comes to getting you the best rate. I waited in line no more than 5 mins to be served. There exchange rates are the best! I will definitely go back again. Note: You get better rates when you buy on their website. They told me how to do it and it's really easy. You pay online and then you go in to pick up your cash. Also note, you need your passport or drivers licence when using your debit or credit card.

Useless, asked for Ukrainian currency. Nope they don't carry it offered me enough to buy a Coke and Chips. Quoted a rip off rate of 10% like most money exchangers since biblical times a total Rip off. I welcome the day cryptocurrency wipes the floor with these types of establishments. Soon

Their rates are so good that people travel across London to change currency here. As a result there's often a queue out the door, and for that reason I typically to go to the other currency exchange place further down Victoria Street (called Change Link). Both of these places presumably compete with each other and therefore typically have exactly the same rates, but the other one always seems much quieter.

Best exchange rate Euro/Sterling in London.
I've used their services in order to get the best value for my money in pounds when traveling home (Spain). I haven't used the online services to get money on the post as the Victoria office is convenient enough for me, but the rates are unbeateable. Nowhere else you get a better rate. Seriously, if you need travel money, this is the place to go.

You get a better rate if you order your currency online (don't need to pay) and then print it out and bring it with. They already have the best exchange rates by some margin. Expect to queue during lunchtime.

A poor service. I visited on the 18th May to collect Swedish Krona. Unknown to me (as I'd never been to Sweden before) I was given several out of circulation notes. I only found out when I went to pay for dinner in Sweden.
This morning I went back to exchange back to GBP but was told I wasn't allowed to change back as the notes are out of circulation. The only place I got money from was here. I was told there was no way it was from them as they hadn't seen the notes for over a year. I asked whether they would look at the notes in stock to see whether there were any of the old notes in there. I was told they wouldn't look as they didn't have any Krona in stock at all. (On Thursday they was a big stack of notes). Rather than be of any help the three members of staff all sat behind the glass laughing.
I don't believe it is an out of order request to see what notes they have in order to rule out a fault with the company, it would have quickly ruled out any issues but the lack of assistance with this matter has caused more suspicion and sadly lost my custom of over 5 years.

I have done a few businesses at this branch and never really counted the money ( My mistake, always count your money in front of the staff, one note after the other, and use your calculator. Don't feel embarrased to do so. I made a mistake not doing so)
What happened on 2 Dec was I took US$296 to change £. I have counted the notes at home many times, so I just gave the money to the counter. The guy behind teh counter said it was $286, I thought I heard it wrong so I asked him again. This time he said something I didn't really understand, as he has a very thick accent I didn't ask more. Assuming it was $296. When I got home and read the reciept, it was $286. I asked a friend of mine who has lived nearby for 40 years, is it possible that teh staff short changed me $10? He said he has no doubt that was the case. I am not saying it was but that was a possibility. I didn't want to count teh money when I was in teh shop that's why I did it at home, to make sure the amount. My friend told me it is very common in London as these currency exchange make small advantages over teh tourists, either they didn't notice becayse it is small amount or they didn't bother to check ( like I did before ), even if they found out, they are most likely just blame thier own bad luck. But I was very unhappy. It's only $10 but it gives a very bad taste. So, be warned and be aware. Always count your moeny and don't eb shy to ask them count in front of you, one by one. Until you are 100% satisfied with what you got, don't leave the counter.

Be carefull, the exchange rate in the outdoor window table is not the same that the rate of transaction. In my case it says 1.26 and the charge me 1.30. I ask it to the employee and he said me that the value in the window is the value of chaging Pouns for Euros, the value of changing Euros for Sterling Pounds isn't published ( What?!). So, pay attention.

I had a really bad experience, they accuse me of money laundry and treated me like a delinquent just because I change money in the same day in two different places and it was not too much money to be honest, I do not think that give them the right to do that.
