Awful the whole experience was a total joke I was there over two hours I was charged £25 for the Oct eye test that other opticians charge £10 for I picked some frames that were in the £40 range that had wrong ticket on and were £100 needless to say I picked another pair I am 70 so was told I get 25% off and second pair half price then after agreeing the price I was told I don't get the discount because frames not over £50 bearing in mind your charged £65 for the lens so my glasses actually were £105 each joke or what I got the discount after showing my disgust and perhaps your posters should say this as not all pensioners can afford £100 frames I chose Boots as I was told they are better than my usual opticians believe me I should have gone to Specsavers as they are not a rip off

Average sized store, all on one floor. It has a good range of departments including a pharmacy. The perfume/cosmetic section seemed larger than average.
The store is fully accessible, and aisles are adequate, but not generous.
Checkout went well, and there were three self checkout tills available too, which is a plus.
Unfortunately the ambience of the store seemed lacking something compared to other branches.
Also my experience of the staff wasn't very good. I asked someone to help me find a product. I got a frown, not a smile. When the lady had showed me where the product was with a vague wave of her arm, she then turned and walked off. Very unusual and unlike the pleasant staff in many other Boots.
Still I found what I was looking for, but I can't really recommend this branch.

I have been abused and humiliated by a member of staff at Boots.
I'm 16 and a new customer to Boots where I use a Student Advantage card. I was sent from one counter to another yesterday when the till operators couldn't get the card to work. I was eventually directed to the tills at the front of the store. Just as I reached the front, a beauty assistant called me over to her till.
The fellow behind me started to race to her and she smiled when she saw him. As I approached, she started to serve him I said that I had been called and I was ahead of him in the queue. She told me to "walk away." and explained that it was completely up to her who she served, as she continued to exchange familiar glances with the man that had tried to run past me.
I protested and explained that I was called and was ahead of him in the queue. She rejected me and at some point she encouraged a response from the man, who also started to tell me to get lost. She giggled. They both tried to verbally intimidate me and I eventually broke down into tears as they continued their familiar exchange.
Though crying, I demanded to know her name. She refused to give it. I asked to see the manager and she initially refused to fetch the manager until my mother appeared, at which point she raced off without speaking to either of us.
It is clear to me that she saw me as a young customer that she could disregard and humiliate. She even co-opted another customer into doing so. I think this is terrible. I sincerely hope that Boots takes this seriously and does something about it.

The pharmacy stuff are “mostly” nice apart from a couple of them being not very friendly however, they are not really aware of their stocks and keep you waited for long times after you warn them telling that they have stocks. Most of them are friendly and helpful though

Standard Boots with a reasonable range and quite convenient. They do need to look at their shelving descriptions. Trying to find a specific item can be time-consuming. Staff helpful but if the layout doesn't help that is not ideal.

I have to be honest (which i m not always for fear of hurting others) but i cannot say i have enjoyed my experience in this branch of Boots. It was a nice day untill we went to Boots. (despite horrible weather) as we had lunch with an old friend. We decided it would be better to buy what we needed (Lemsip) in Wimbledon rather than getting off the tram in Croydon and then going to the shops. My sister and I were walking around looking for lemsip and had decided to pick up one or two other things. Arrived at the health section and looking at the various medicines when i noticed a staff member trying to pretend she was tidying the shelves when she was actually watching us - like a hawk. We were carrying a shopping bag and it was very open so perhaps she thought we were going to sweep things off the shelf and into our bag. There was no one else around ùs that she could have been watching. I appreciate the fact that shoplifting happens and is a costly issue however neither of us are the shoplifting type. I was stunned to be treated like this. We had not acted in a suspicious manner to warrent this treatment. A trivial point for some perhaps however for me it is not fair when one simply is going about their bisness.

My husband went to the Boots pharmacy at Wimbledon Centre Court to get advise from the Pharmacist. We were told to wait for the Pharmacist Panit Somhon, who was in a call and she will come and see us as soon as she finished. After waiting for 10min, she took another customer in ,who basically arrived later than us. We have not received a proper explanation why my husband was not the one to be seen by the pharmacist as soon as she was available. Real poor customer service from this pharmacist and their immediate colleague, who were not able to provide better communication.
