Bought 0ne front screen wiper blade, assistant asked if I would like someone to fit it or me, I agreed, it took less than a minute to fit.
When I opened my Email to look at my receipt I was shocked to see that I had been charged £4 for fitting. The assistant didn't inform me that there was a charge for the fitting otherwise I would have done it myself.
Not Happy about that.

Quite simply put this is the place to go for anything automotive or cycling related. Special mention must go to Mia who is a veritable doyen of customer service excellence. Never failing to find a solution with what must be the worlds best demeanor.

Had to get a new car battery today. The young lady who fitted it was excellent, she was very efficient, friendly and informative. She said she’d checked my brake lights were working as I drove into the covered area and gave my windscreen wipers a check too. I came away feeling as if my car had had a mini checkup. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name but I’d certainly recommend Halfords (Winnersh)

Went in for a battery and lightbulbs. I picked up the battery only, and forgot the lightbulbs. When I got to the till Katie (on the till), asked me if I had forgotten or needed any thing else - which was a "lightbulb" moment!!!!. She then looked up the bulbs i needed and got someone to fetch them off the shelves and bring them to the till. Brilliant!!! saved me from another trip.

PLEASE AVOID, if I could give 0 stars I would, essentially they have stolen my bike as 3 weeks after dropping it off I have not heard a single thing from them. When I call the number (which is a centralised call centre) I have been lied to and told it ready, when I turn up at the store I am told it's going to be a few more weeks. All they had to do was replace the chain. Really wish I'd gone elsewhere, I am so disappointed, save the hassle and use an independent bike service shop.

If I need a paper receipt, I would like one not an argument with a 17 year old shop assistant that can't understand that the 93 year old that I'm shopping for doesn't have a computer, let alone an email address! ridiculous policy that you can't have a paper receipt, really bad customer service.

I purchased a lumber support and fitted it in my car outside Halfords it broke straight away so I took it back into the shop and told the lady on the till what had happened, she said do you want another one or something else, I had a look for another support and chose one slightly different and exchanged it at the till, all well at this point, fitted this one in the car, it did not break but just wobbled about in the seat as the strap slipped down, I kept it as it was the the best of the things available and with a bit of thought I could make it fit, I should have looked at the revue's first and I would not have bothered
