Great place to get replacement headlight bulbs. A replacement side light bulb cost me less than eight pounds including fitting while I waited. I just gave my make and model at the desk and the very helpful staff even picked out the bulb too. The whole process only took a few minutes on a weekday morning.

There is always someone to help you even during busy times in the bike floor. Customer feedback is valued the most in this branch and I have been taken money off for delivering my bike late. Conveniently located near Woodley, with ample parking. These guys offer free car battery health check during seasons. Always had a good helping hand from the till assistants, in choosing car Spares. overall I recommend this store

Excellent service from Andy who took the time to order in the correct child's car seat for our Peugeot 208, even though not in stock and despite being under pressure due to staff sickness. This man should be commended for his helpfulness and clear communication skills, as he had to explain fairly slowly so I could take in everything about fixing and adjusting the child's car seat. Andy makes you feel like you are the only customer he is concerned about. Right at the end he even offered to break down the cardboard packaging to a size easy for us to get in the car as we needed it for storage at home. Andy was under pressure and yet gave the best service anyone could wish to receive. Thank you.

Took my BMW 320d Sport in for replacement of one dipped headlight bulb and parking light bulbs that had failed. The team quickly identified the failed bulbs and replaced them in no time. They were all very courteous and professional. At a fraction of the cost of a BMW dealer I imagine! Well done Halfords.

Went to buy child's bike. Picked one in 5mins, 45 mins later left shop having still not been served. Tried going to upstairs and downstairs tills three times each. Downstairs had 3 idle staff who refused to take payment. Upstairs guy trained another guy to change a tyre for a MAML who clearly shouldn't own a bike for that whole time. Eventually my two year olds nappy ran out of capacity and googly found us a smythes with the same bike for 33% less so gave up. Not the first time this has happened to me (give or take the nappy bit) in a halfords. They really to have a policy for hiring 19 year old layabouts.

Just gone to pick up bicycle ordered online after receiving Email to say it would be ready after 4pm this was for an autistic boy ...bicycle was not ready infact not even in stock !! Was informed its been ordered again and will be in thurs or Friday try tellimg that to a 12 yr old autistic boy...Why did store not phone to inform us reply o its ok you can drive back to Reading to get one or Drive to Bracknell ...petrol or time wastage never mentioned I await call from store manager to discuss I wait with baited breath!! Be warned if you order online no one tells the truth

I bought and had fitted two new headlight bulbs, unfortunately a couple of months later they blew. I didn't have my receipt so had no choice but to buy more. After explaining this to the helpful guy from Halfords, he got new bulbs, fitted them for me and then told me - no charge!! what awesome customer service - Thankyou!

Why offer a service you can't deliver. If you offer a paint mixing service make sure you have all components available to make up the paint. I accepted the fact that my paint could not be make last week because a particular colour was not available. I returned a week later thinking surely I could get it made up today, but no they still hadn't ordered the out of stock component. They couldn't tell me when it's due in, just advised me to go to another Halfords store miles away and try there. i've given up trying to be a Halfords customer.

I needed to take back a failed car battery with a three year warranty within the first 12 months. I had to speak with the store manager who said he wouldn't swap it, no reason given. He continued to try to blame the car. After a good 5 minutes of me asking why they wouldn't honour the warranty i then asked for the area managers number, within 30 seconds the manager changed his mind and i got a new battery, however i was then asked not to return to the store!! Customer service, i think not! That said the staff themselves seem helpful enough.

Cutting a long story short we arrived for a new battery. The car just refused to start after the new battery was fitted and in the end I phoned for an AA to see if another pair of eyes could see the problem. It wasn't to be and the car remained immobilised. It was a cold day and we were offered hot drinks by Ashley who was managing the ongoing problem. The staff were most understanding and in the end they arranged for a taxi to take us home and arrange recovery of our car to a garage for further evaluation. Although it was not the outcome any of us wished, I would like to place on record the care and attention given to us by Ashley and his team in what was an perplexing afternoon. Thank you!

Purchased a dash cam from them. Was told the memory card would hold around 8 hrs of footage. Had an incident the other day which I needed to keep a recording of but still had around 4 hours of work to do but I thought not a problem I can download it to my pc when I get home. Got home to find the memory card only stores around 3 hours of footage so my incident had been written over. It wasn’t a collision so the camera wouldn’t have made a protected file. Feel I’ve been miss sold this slightly. Thing is I wouldn’t of minded if I was told the truth, just means I would of bought a beggar sd card somewhere else as the 32gb was the biggest one they had. Also spoken to the manager who said he would look into this as they have been given the incorrect information from the supplier who I contacted and told me 3 hours. Makes you wonder. Thanks Halfords
