I was recommended to Huets by a friend and any minor qualms I may have had about the distance (>50 miles) to travel and the potential price were quickly removed by Pete and his professional (and patient!) style of handling all my questions and the job at hand. The photos speak for themselves - a very discrete and snug fit and I'm sure if anything went wrong Pete would be all too happy to help. Pete and team are an absolute pleasure to work with - these guys are well worth it and there is a reason they are so well regarded. Looking forward to getting some new speakers fitted there in the near future - see you soon Pete!

I have used Huets before and they have always been incredibly professional. I posed them with a challenging install that proved very tricky to navigate with faulty equipment provided by other retailers and multiple other issues. At all points Huets were superb in calling and liaising with various suppliers and managed to get the job done amazingly well.
I couldn’t be more pleased with the install and as ever, wouldn’t go anywhere else to have my audio installed. Solar panels and some new front door speakers next, I’ll be booking in soon!

I've been wanting to upgrade the sound in my MK2 Ford Focus for a while and had a look for local companies. Huets came up in a search so I got in touch and had excellent advice from Peter and the team. They priced up a system and included the option for more sound deadening material in the doors too. Also they were happy to hardwire the basic dashcam I have, which is hugely appreciated.
I went with Audison speakers all round and a basic Kenwood head-unit. My car spent a day with them for the install and you wouldn't even notice anything had been changed apart from the head-unit.
I opted for more deadening material in the front doors, and the road noise is now reduced along with much cleaner sound quality and better headroom without distortion.
It took me a while to mess with the EQ and find my preferred settings, but once I found the sweet spot I can happily drive about enjoying my music with excellent sound quality.
There is good bass punch without sounding muddy or bloated, there was a dip in the lower midrange at first, but once flattened out vocals cut through with great clarity and detail. Plastic and glass surfaces in cars are terribly reflective, so there was a bit of sibilance, but again a bit of tweaking and the harshness is gone but there is plenty of sparkle and extension still.
As a Hi-Fi enthusiast, it shocked me how different car audio is, but at the same time I'm really happy with the system Huets have installed. It has transformed my driving experience for the better, and I now no longer have to put up with poor sound quality in my car.
I need to stop reading about subs and amps now, before my wallet takes another beating.

Done all my car installs for the last 15 years, from reversing cameras, to full HQ Audio builds including custom work, and even a stealth audio wire of my 45yr old classic. Pro job throughout, never dissatisfied. Just a shame they keep moving further from Brighton so I have to keep travelling further to get them to do the work!

I can’t speak highly enough of Pete and the Huets Team. I had a ghost immobiliser installed earlier in the year and had some subsequent issues with a VW garage a few months later (at no fault of Huets). Huets were amazing and tirelessly helped me resolve the issue. Ghost has worked perfectly since and hope to get a new stereo or speakers installed with Huets soon!.

Huets are very professional and absolute experts in what they do. They were recommended to my by Citroen when Halfords were unable to instal a basic stereo in my Picasso. They did such a great job on that low cost job so I went back to them with my motorhome and had a complete multimedia setup installed. This was complicated, took some time and had quirky problems to do with my van's design. Huets were methodical and continued to work on the project until everything was just right. They are perfectionists. I can not rate them more highly and I will be back to see Pete anytime I need something done with my vehicles. They have a customer for life.

Huet's installations, This is the second VW T5 installation Huet's have carried out for me and both have left me driving off with a huge smile on my face, happy with the knowledge that everything will work as it should, The team use the best products on the market and will work around your budget from the bottom to the top. Pete will talk you through everything at the start and find out exactly what your needs are, The team then get to work and install what in both my T5s has been outstanding quality sound and vision. I was sad to sell my first T5 with all its quality installation still intact and still working as well as the day it was installed. Having had my second T5 kitted out with upgraded speakers, stereo, leisure bty, inverter, USB sockets and all fused professionally I was even more impressed than the first installation. I have just been to see Pete to switch out the leisure bty after one of its cells unusually failed, there was no quibble and he swapped it straight over on warranty without charge. The service provided from Huets the in car specialist is simply outstanding and I would recommend them to everyone. Be clear at the start of your installation exactly what you want from it and write a list of your requirements to help with it. You will never be disappointed here and come the time of another VW T5 I will 100 % be back again. Thank you to all at Huets, Geordie and Kate.

Had a parking camera fitted to my car but wasn't 100% happy with the outcome initially (I can be pretty particularly). The guys there took my complaint seriously offered to fit a replacement part (that they don't stock) and within a few weeks managed to fix my issue with a software update (after chasing the manufacturer of the original camera a few times for me)
A company should be judged on how they fix issues and these guys did a great job.
Would 100% recommend.

I'm very particular and do not accept second best. After looking for a superior car audio installation company I found Huets. Upon meeting Peter for the first time I instantly realised that he and the company knew exactly what was needed to solve my audio requirements. After a brief chat about possible options I felt totally happy to let the guys do what they thought was best for the build. Then I went on holiday and left my baby with them (never been out of my sight before lol) When I returned I was amazed to put it bluntly. I like a lot of heavy metal and need to hear the difference between drums and guitars perfectly separated....No problems with this now. The guys built me a custom sub enclosure that sounds incredible...better than I could have dreamed of (thanks Mark!!) My Rainbow front speakers are incredibly informative and detailed like nothing I have ever heard inside in a vehicle. Then the Dynamat wow...reduced road noise and increased clarity. If you really appreciate music incar one word Dynamat....no brainer. I went for a Kenwood DAB head unit (thanks peter!!) glad I did because I'm in total control of all my adjustments now. The JL amp has loads of power without distortion....Really great sound with plenty of Oomph (did I mention I like Heavy metal).
The attention to detail in regards to the actual installation is exactly what I would have expected....perfectly installed. Everything cleverly concealed using quality interconnects and cables. These guys know their stuff!!

Huets have fitted the audio into my last three cars now spanning a ten year period. they have always impressed me and come up with some creative ideas and will always bend over backwards to work to your budget (these have varied over the years). I just picked up their latest instalment to my latest care and it has surpassed all my expectations. the sound quality is unreal. they have even invited me back to re adjust the sound setting once my speakers have bedded in. top quality service, highly recommended.

Huets fitted a sound system, telephone Bluetooth capability and window tinting. Having had similar jobs performed by several companies over the last 10 or so years I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. By my experience they’re probably the best in Sussex if not the country. Been visiting Huets now for years and for good reason - knowledge, service and value. Over the years the family have had everything done between us - a DAB stereo fitted, new speakers and amps and recently a reversing camera fitted with parking sensors. They have even put in a leisure battery in our campervan. Great advice, friendly service, competitively priced along with a great after service care. Why would anyone go anywhere else?

Huets have very carefully and professionally upgraded the stereo in my BMW and added a phone kit. When the phone kit didn't work, they got to the bottom of it and fixed it, even though it had nothing to do with their work.
Fantastic advice and careful work. They took me through all of the options and I have ended up with the right system for me at a good price. No hard sell or condescending 'advice' that you sometimes find.

Had a camera fitted to my car and hard wired in, all seemed in order until further inspection (after I had got home) where I noted some interior trim not fitting correctly. Turns out 3 out of the 6 fixings had been broken and not replaced which caused the trim to partially come away. I’m 100% confident they weren’t damaged before I dropped the car off as I maticiusly detailed the interior, top to bottom, before dropping it off to them, just in case this sort of thing happened. If you’re paying for a “professional” install any parts damaged should be replaced (I’m not even fussed who pays for the replacement parts)... disappointed as the fixings only cost 48p each!

I had a mid-range stereo fitted in my classic Mercedes recently. The system was limited by speaker aperture size and single din head unit space. Chris(the proprietor) discussed all the options with me and we agreed a course of action. We went for a retro style unit. After the installation it was decided that the retro unit was holding the quality back so Chris offered to just change it for a modern fit. I can't imagine many other businesses subsidising experimentation in this way. All in all a very pleasant experience. Efficient, friendly, helpful, professional and a good result, thanks Chris! Only 5 stars as they don't offer a 6 option.
