I have been picking up George orders from ASDA Shepshed for my partner for over a year from this store, went in this morning to pick up my sons school shoes as his have completely fallen apart, to be told that with out ID I can't have them this is the first time I have been asked for any ID (you need a qr code that has been sent to you) I didn't didn't have any so my son got sent to school in trainers. Standards and expectations are set by previous experience if this had happened the first time I had picked something up that would be one thing but this is far from the case.

It’s very convenient especially for the Students studying at L’boro University as it’s the only supermarket which happens to be cheaper than Aldi. Plus the delivery service is exceptional, we as students get a lot of deliveries from here. All the delivery guys are very friendly and punctual. I rated it as a 4 star because it’s too small compared to the one in Leicester but then again I can understand why. As it’s situated in a village but if it was situated in the Town of Loughborough, business would be magnificent and Tesco’s would’ve got a real competitor on the market. We need a big Asda in Loughborough.

staff are excellent ,sometimes the shelves run out of certain products ,the biggest issue with this store is the design and layout of the self service tills,there to small i struggle when doing a larger shop they needed a few larger checkouts for self service, is fine if you only have a small handbasket but when you have trolley full its a nightmare especially early in the morning when there's not enough staff to check your stuff out on the two larger till ,they should of left the two larger conveyor belt self service tills for people with larger shopping ,be a nightmare there when its busy and with Christmas's coming up ,need re planning of the self service tills

Really disappointed with ASDA delivery. Order never turned up, no contact or offer to deliver at a different time. Has left a vunerable family without food! Am genuinely shocked how bad the service is!!

This morning I HAD TO fetch some essential food. I adeared to all the rules but followed around by staff looking at. Me as if I was a bank robber if you are a nervous person never go there I left my flat for the first time in 4 days. When I returned I was shaking.

ASDA Shepshed are still unable to master the rocket science of stocking the shelves properly.
Today's list of failures (two thirds of my intended shop):
Smart Price skimmed milk - only four cartons, ignoring two rejected because they'd been beaten to death.
Smart Price tinned seeetcorn - shelf completely empty (as it was a week ago)
Easy cook long grain rice - shelf completely empty (as it almost was a week ago).
Asda tinned new potatoes - shelf completely empty (as it was a week ago).
...not to mention the tinned stuff I passed on because of damage. Damage can ruin the air-tightness of a tin, leading to food poisoning.

Very helpful staff. Tinned Asda chicken vindaloo curry especially superb. Cheap tinned sliced peaches and cheap tinned new potatoes sadly missed - all too expensive now. Huge improvement in range of outsourced and own brand sliced breads now. Would be a great store if it wasn't so very frequently let down by empty or scantily stocked shelves of various items. I always come away without some things I needed, because those shelves were empty.

Considering its size, the Asda at Shepshed has a very good range of food and clothing. Good parking away from the busy approach roads. Small bakery selling bread, cakes and pizzas. Most tills are self service. Clean and presentable.

I visit on quiet weekday evenings (when I'm desperate) and on several occasions the staff would rather stand about chatting than help with the self scan checkouts - I've even had to ask for help when they are stood right there! Plus you get disgusted looks. If you want to feel truly hated then ask for a bag for life, I dare you.
Also they leave big trolleys of stock out and act like you're in the way when you're trying to reach for something.
Having been about ten times I've never seen the shelves full, they always run out of popular items.
And heaven forbid you should need to use the customer service desk for lotto, etc.... I recommend booking ahead if you want to get served.

This chicken was on display rotting, when I showed a member of staff she asked what was wrong with it. I told her the white spots were mould and she said "oh, is it?"
Shocking lack of understanding of food hygiene, and a total health hazard.

You can do a full shop here, reasonable amount of stuff available, though some of the staff are a bit 'unmotivated' and can be quite rude at times. This is contrad by those who are willing to help and stat to recognise you and are helpful.
