Since lockdown has happened Muswell Hill have put home learning resources for all age groups on their websites. It’s really nice to see them still caring and engaging for them during this time. We've been learning the nursery rhyme ‘slippery fish’ and my other children have been crafting some homemade shakers to play along.

I've just started my daughter at Muswell Hill, one of the London Preschools and I've been very impressed with the maths and English skills they've been working on. Having an early start on these core skills was a real priority to us and it’s great to see them working with them on literacy and maths in a way that engages them. I've already seen an improvement in Emily’s reading and she always tells me about what they’ve been reading at preschool.

It was hard to let my youngest start at nursery, but the staff have been very attentive and given me confidence in spending time away from my daughter. They have so much to keep the kids occupied and when I've dropped in they are always happy to show me all the things she’s been doing that day. Muswell Hill has a sensory room which the younger children love which has lights and mirror ball and are always well attended to. I’d recommend the school for people in the area.

Since Emily was born, I’ve been very concerned about getting her into a good school and I chose Muswell Hill as her preschool because of the curriculum here. I've been seeing steady progress and she seems to learn something everyday. They take their early education very seriously and although they have lots of other activities like yoga and dance, they are also taught important lessons as well. What I've seen I've been very impressed with and Emily still seems to be curious and engaged with all the things she’s learning, so they must be doing something right!

All of my kids love spending time outdoors and when I saw the muswell hill playground, they immediately said they wanted to go there. It’s perfectly safe for all age groups and they are always supervised when outside. They are always climbing on things and jumping around, which helps them to settle down when it’s time to concentrate or when they come home in the evenings.

Before my daughter started here she was always singing and dancing and so I really wanted to find a preschool that would let her express herself and nurture her talent. Muswell Hill has been really great for that. They really value the arts and creativity as well as other subjects and she has also discovered an interest in performing arts. The children have learnt all about music and she can even name some composers! I love seeing her perform and costumes they wear are always adorable, it’s a very proud moment for us.

My son attends Muswell Hill London preschool and really enjoys the yoga and dance sessions. It’s great to see the kids being active and having lots of fun. They have a special creators room for his age group and he’s been enjoying playing with the other children. The staff give me little updates on his day when I pick him up and he manages to relax and sleep well when napping there as well, they play relaxing music for them which helps him.

My second youngest started at muswell hill last year and has gained a lot of confidence since. The staff are always telling me about his day and they seem to take an individual approach to each of the kids. It’s great to see them engaging and encouraging all the children that attend the preschool, I've seen a real difference in him.

My child Jeremy has alway been a fussy eater, so I was so amazed that the staff managed to find food that suited him and he enjoyed eating. He is also dairy intolerant and they cater to his dietary needs as well. I was pleased to see they had a great food and hygiene rating and the food looks tasty and fresh for them. With all the running around he’s doing at muswell hill, it’s no surprise! My son has also taken real interest in plants and how foods grow since starting here, so I feel that has assisted with his dietary patterns as well.
