The Gower School

I absolutely love this nursery! My daughter joined it when she was 1y 4m and settled in pretty quickly. All staff in Le Petit Canards group is amazing: very supportive, attentive, kind and polite. Whenever I need a help (for example with sleep or behavior) I can 100% rely and trust my daughter’s key person and the Head of the Room, as they give me good advices. Honestly, I feel like my daughter is in the best room with the best staff. She’s learning A LOT there: songs, words, numbers, and good behavior. She knows how to support other kids when they are upset and give them a hand when they ask for a help. I feel like us (parents) and this nursery are working together to raise her. They really care about every single child in this group and their unique personality. Lots of fun activities as well: festival of colours, picnics, weekly forest school,.. I don’t have words to describe how happy are with this nursery and especially Le Petit Canards group. My only wish would be if they can make outdoor play in the garden (by the way which is quite large and fantastic designed) a bit longer or at least twice a day, as I feel like 30 min outdoor play a day is not enough for a toddler. Hope this will be improved after COVID situation.

This nursery is a perfect match for our children. The staff is professional, kind and very friendly. Children are going to the nursery every day with a smile on their faces (which we did not expect it to be so soon since we had recently moved to London and the language is not familiar to them). I highly recommend this nursery.

I am very happy our son goes to the Gower School.

If we hadn't have left London our child would still be at the Gower nursery. They provide a fantastic Montessori focussed environment for the children and you can literally feel the love the people have for the children in their care. It's a very special place and staff are phenomenal.

Our child was at the nursery for about 18 months and we were so sad he couldn't attend further due to us moving away. He absolutely adored his teachers, who were kind, caring and couldn't do enough for him and us and it was wonderful seeing our child's confidence grow. We always felt welcomed, listened to and confident leaving our child in their care. We miss them all!

I highly recommend the TGS nursery to any parents/carers. A truly caring and nurturing environment, helping children explore so many different learning areas and build up their confidence. We particularly appreciated the constant open dialogue with the teachers.

Great facilities , great staff ! My son loved going to the nursery in the morning. Great Montessori nursery with a wide range activities for the children - forest school, special helper, visits to museums, author day, nursery rhyme day where children would have to dress up, parents eat at school week, among others.

The nursery has given our son the best start to education we could have hoped for, giving him a love of learning in an environment full of fun, care, structure and safety. If we had not moved abroad, our son would still be there - also with his younger brother too.

Poor education delivered by under-qualified staff. Scary senior and middle management who need to read over the British values section of the National Curriculum again. Tolerance? Equality?

Very happy with the whole staff, included the director, who organizes very useful courses for parents.

The head teacher has sadistic tendencies which affect children and the staff especially. She dislikes teachers with a vengeance. Maybe because she haas never been one?

The teachers are very welcoming, polite and helpful but unfortunately, I met the head teacher this morning and she was extremely rude and degrading which is worrying as if she makes adults feel this way I would not like to imagine how she could make a child feel.
