I had a very bad experience with this company where they placed multiple charges on my card and tried to avoid me getting a refund. I had to work with American Express to get my money back as they filed counter claims. They are only a booking service and not a car rental company. In the end, I lost several hundred to them in cancelation fees. As I rented the exact same car from the operating company as they were offering me (I found this out later) I also know they were never actually charged that fee I paid for.

Reliable team and good service. Company was used to rent a Roll Royce Ghost which was virtually brand new. Only disappoint was the GPS was not set up in the vehicle which is important for visiting guest driving around in Dubai.

Customer service is so important and I've got it from Apex. It's my first time to rent a luxury car and the entire process couldn't have been simpler. From booking to picking up the vehicle, and returning it, all went without a hitch. The rate was excellent; in fact, my friends when they met me at my hotel in London could not believe how good a deal I got for the amount. Thank you, Apex! Will definitely use again.

I was looking to hire the new Lamborghini Urus because I simply like the look of this car and its not something you see on the road everyday. Was a great feeling to drive it and turn heads. Super comfortable and a powerful engine like you would expect. The rental process was very easy and staff friendly and helpful throughout. If I ever hire a luxury car in London again, it will be from Apex.

My experience with Apex was unlike any other. They personally picked us up from the airport with the vehicle we rented, they helped us to load our luggage into the vehicle. They were all friendly and courteous. And when we returned our vehicle, they were right there at the airport waiting for us. I'll use them again for my next trip.

Booked 2 Rolls Royce in London with Apex Luxury Car Hire and the whole experience has been pleasant. Delivery to airport was on time and vehicles were in good condition as you'd expect from a professional car rental agency. Cars were booked for 5 days and then picked up again by their agent. Paperwork was simple and will definitely book again in the future.

I rented a Ferrari Spider 488 in Dubai. The prices were very reasonable, compared to those of the market! The sales people extra helpful and fast with their responses. The car was AMAZING! It felt brand-new and was everything you would expect from a dream car. I definately recommend both the car and the service. Totally trust worthy and excellent!

This one star review is based on the service experienced around the rental. I rented a Ferrari 488 Spyder in Florence. The 24 hour rental period and car were fine. The issues are the events around the rental period: Apex contacted me the night before delivery saying my card was declined, but there were no attempted charges on my card when I called my bank. This caused international charges in additional to time wasted and worry surrounding my plans collapsing. I got a hold of Apex, and they said that the charges can be completed with the rental company (as apex is simply a booking company). When the car was picked up, the pick up driver was there early and pressured us to give up the rental before the time was up (we wanted to take a quick morning drive). He ultimately agreed to letting us complete our 24 hour period. When doing the final check, we noted marks on the side skirt of the car - rubber markings that easily rubbed off using my finger (similar to rubber markings on a basketball court from shoes). While I was cleaning these off, the man insisted I stop, regardless of the fact that they were all rubbing off. He then took a video as "evidence" of damage. He told me he was going to take the car to get buffed out and confirmed that this will not be filed under damage as he was able to see that the marks rubbed off easily with my fingers. I reluctantly agreed, but he was very pushy. I also did not receive my final paperwork or sign any documents that agree that there were damages. Also of note, we were going to be 100 km over our prepurchased km. I called apex and confirmed a purchase for the extra km. Days later I receive an email saying there were almost 6K euro in damages and I was almost 200 km over my allotted km. The phone call I made was at 630 am, 2 hours before our pickup to purchase the additional km. I wouldn’t buy only 100 km if I was 200 km over. Additionally, the only evidence they sent regarding the damages were a removed side skirt and the car on a lift. No real evidence of damage (besides the video mentioned above) or of any work being done. Furthermore, the "video evidence" shows additional rubber marks on the door, but no mention of the door needing work, which is curious. I tried to fix this with Apex who gave me the run around and said they are just the booking company, have nothing to do with the deposit and will to contact the rental company. Weeks passed and no updates. I felt out of options, so I went through my banks claims department. I filed a claim with my fraud department, hoping they would investigate as to whether any repairs were made. The claims department is only interested in whether the charge was authorized by me. Since the charge (security deposit) was authorized initially, the case was closed and the funds were released on April 4th, 2019. My bank said that discussion would need to happen directly with the company. Since April, I’ve tried to get a refund of my balance of the security deposit at the least. I have written off the false claims they have made and chalked them up as money I’ll never see again, but the balance of my security deposit should be refunded. It is almost 6 months now since funds have been released. I have inquired many times with apex and the rental company, who keep telling me that the funds have not been released and they will look into it. I email them monthly and get the same reply - “we will look into it and get back to you.” Nobody gets back to me. I send follow up emails that sometimes get responses and sometimes don’t. I’m concerned I won’t see the balance of my security deposit either. I am writing this review to warn about the way that this company operates. Until I got the car, they were on top of responding. Once this issue started, I felt abandoned by Apex (who should be customer advocates to their rental partners). I chose Apex vs other rental agencies were because they had good ratings and offered the best price but in hindsight I wish I payed more upfront from a more reputable company because I would have saved a lot of headache.

Worst customer service ever, told me they will get back to me in 30mins with quotes and 24 hours later I had to call them back and the same person i spoke to said she cant even remember what I wanted. Said she will get back to me in few hours and another 24 hours went by. This time her excuse is sorry we've been so busy with customer enquiries (So i must not be a customer!). Then I am told nothing is available. Wasted 3 days of waiting around and now no one else has anything available for my brothers wedding. Do not even bother contacting.

This review applies to an incident going back to November 2018, when I left the following review: "I recently contacted Apex Luxury Car Hire to organise a car rental for a trip booked by my wife as a wedding gift. It was supposed to be the trip of a lifetime and to see the Abu Dhabi GP at the same time... Recently I reported fraudulant activity in my account with my bank. I placed a deposit with a company named ‘Apex Luxury Car Hire’, based in the UK, to hire a vehicle in Dubai whilst on holiday. This company charged my card for a small deposit, which I agreed to as this was supposed to have occurred in the UK. I made it absolutely clear (in several emails), that they did not have my permission to charge my card any further. I instructed them I would pay for the services in cash only, which was agreed. The instant I had returned the vehicle (in Dubai), a different company had somehow acquired my bank details and made several high-value, expensive withdrawals from my account- without my permission, knowledge or consent. They had also receipt of my driving licence and passport (without my permission, knowledge or consent), and informed me that they were a ‘different entity’ from Apex Luxury Car Hire. I was also informed that the amount I was supposed to pay in cash was not sufficient to cover insuring the vehicle (which is contradictory to their terms and conditions on their website- If anybody wishes to see this I do have screenshots!) This is a clear breach in the recent GDPR. I was never made aware I was dealing with another company as well as Apex Luxury Care Hire and I have had my personal information and details (ID and bank account details) passed to a different company outside the UK without my knowledge, permission or consent. I wasn’t even notified this was happening. They have not agreed to reimburse the charged monies they have withdrawn from my account either. I must say I am absolutely appalled and disgusted with the way I have been treated and the service I have received. I would strongly urge everybody to stay clear of Apex Luxury Car Hire and choose a company that values and respects it’s customers, rather than working illegally behind the scenes. I feel this company is Being dishonest and being and disrespectful to customers. There is no clarity or honour in the way they have behaved and fail to take responsibility of their failings. I am utterly disgusted and I will be looking at ways that I can make a complaint regarding this awful service and the way I have been treated. The least This company could do is advise me about how to escalate this case and take my complaint further. I would urge everybody to beware as using this company can lead to costing you a lot of money- taken from you without your knowledge and consent. Furthermore, violation of confidentiality and sharing of personal information/details without your permission." Since this review, a member of staff from the organisation has contacted me and asked me to remove the review. As what I thought of as a joke, he offered to make a payment of £100 to me as a "good will gesture". I was further disgusted as he thought that this was acceptable whilst I am still in financial difficulty due to the actions this company has taken. I also had to move to another bank and was faced with further economical security threats due to the reckless and uncaring behaviour from this group. Apex Luxury Care Hire has made no effort to rectify this, and instead I am merely receiving messages that have asked me to remove the review, then try to blame me for what has happened. It has only made me feel the need to write this additional review to warn potential customers: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I would urge the hard working people of this country to spend their hard earned money with a reliable, caring and honourable service that does not con customers and treat them and their sensitive information in such a dangerous, unsafe and disregarding manner. Stay away!
