In the past, I didn't have a good experience with other counsellors and therapists, so at first I was a bit reluctant to open up to another stranger and just hope for the best. However, Dr D. has helped me a lot with some issues that I've been carrying for the longest time in a relatively short time! I always look forward to my sessions with Dr D. She's incredible and I highly recommend her.

I always looked forward to my sessions with Dr Freeman. She really has changed my life! I wanted to go to therapy for years but kept putting it off but made the commitment during a turbulent time of my life. She made me feel very comfortable to be completely open and therefore address issues I had been carrying for a long time. I highly recommend her and will definitely continue to have sessions in the future when I need extra support. Thank you for everything Dr Freeman.

I came to Dr. D with depression, anxiety, some issues about my identity, self-esteem and growing up. In 4 months of therapy she helped me to discover a lot about how my past forms my personality, thought patterns and behavior, my desire for the future, and the potential I have to both accept & better myself. Dr. D is a very attentive listener. She is excellent & sharp at identifying problems; gentle & careful with her words; creative at suggesting different ways to find the solutions myself. She made me feel comfortable to open up. She also seems to have a profound knowledge of many subjects besides psychology. I’m very impressed with her understanding, analyzing, organizing, and articulating skills. Throughout the journey, I feel entirely embraced, energized and encouraged. I can see her genuineness along with utter dedication and professionalism. And how she was fully immersed in using the resources and wisdom she has in helping me. I’ve proudly introduced my loved ones to her, and would definitely recommend to anybody who’s struggling. Her kindness was invaluable.

I am a 33-year old man, and I am not ashamed to say that the Dr Freeman's treatment was really helpful to overcome my nail bitting habit. Denise was extremely committed, with 15min catch-up every morning and evening, including weekends, at the beginning of the treatment (then slowly spacing out) to "set me up for the day" or "debrief the day", respectively. I was particularly impressed by Denise's capacity to always come up with a different angle to discuss my OCD (basically 15 times a week!) and each of them were always adding value and giving me a new tool to fight my addiction. I don’t think that willpower has ever been my strongest skill, but Denise definitely helped me developpling it so that I can better control myself and resist the temptation. I highly recommend Dr. Freeman.

I had several sessions with Dr Denise Freeman and she was really caring, professional and amazing at helping me gain an understanding of how to work through situations and issues. From the onset, she explained how the therapy would work and made it comfortable for me to take my time in trusting her and deciding if she was a good fit as a therapist for me. Despite having numerous patients, she always made me feel like I was a priority whether that was remembering notes from previous sessions to offering a phone session if I ever needed it in between the face to face sessions. For this to work, you both need to be a good fit in order to be comfortable enough to open up. I really appreciated Dr Freeman's honesty at the start of the sessions in allowing us both to determine this. She would never have wasted my time and she was always making sure I got what I needed from each session. As this was my first time, I have finished my sessions with an extremely positive outlook on receiving therapy and Dr Freeman has helped me profoundly. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Best in the business!! I’ve suffered with an extreme and severe form of OCD for many decades and got to a state where each day I was ‘surviving’ not living. I couldn’t eat, go out without scrubbing my body with antiseptic couldn’t work properly and in excruciating physical pain. I knew if I carried on, I was close to the end. As a last gasp I decided to get help. I am so so thankful for finding Denise. I probably wouldn’t be here if not for From thinking I couldn’t be helped, I can now eat properly, I cook, I opened my windows for the first time in years, my physical scars have healed and I am rising fast at work. The care she provided was exceptional. She knew exactly how to get me to talk and explained what was wrong. It felt good to find out that I am not ‘weird’ and that there was a way out. It was hard work and there’s no silver bullet. I had to face my fears. But as hard as I worked I knew Denise was there with me every step of the way, encouraging me when it was right and providing tough love when it was needed. I don’t trust people easily but as I kept an open mind and listened to her and tried what she asked I started breaking free of the OCD. With COVID I see people who don’t consider themselves as having ocd starting to behave like me during my early stages - fearfully and they don’t seem to know when or how to stop cleaning. When you start thinking about how clean something is it’s a dark path. I also work in a team that now works from home. And I see people are struggling. So If you think you may need help but don’t know how to ask for it or even if you think maybe you are ok but something doesn’t feel right, I urge you to at least make your first appointment with Denise. You won’t regret it !!!

As someone who was reluctant to try therapy again, Dr Denise has been valuable to my healing journey. Her positive and friendly nature creates an environment which is both warm and secure. By being attentive to my needs and aiding me to be attentive to myself, she has guided me to want more for myself and to do the work that comes along with it. My sessions with her always felt like a warm hug and she is someone who I am filled with gratitude for. The booking system is user friendly and I strongly recommend her service.

As someone trying therapy for the first time, i can honestly say i had a great time. I learned more about myself with the help of Doctor D in the last 10 weeks than i thought possible and her patient guidance through this journey has been life changing. I am incredibly grateful to her for helping me deal with my anxiety when i previously assumed it was something i would just have to live with forever with no treatment for it!

After reading all the lovely reviews about Denise I had high hopes that she will be able to help, that she really cared like some of the reviewers said. When I’ve called she offered me an appointment that suited me and I jotted it in the calendar but then the conversation continued whether I had therapy before to which I said yes and explained honestly why it didn’t work out (in short therapists not caring = not helping) Immediately after that denise said she doesn’t believe that she is the right person for me and gave me the details of someone else that I should call. She hadn’t asked me nor I had a chance to explain what my issues are. How is this ethically and morally right for a doctor that is supposed to help? People that have mental issues such as depression and anxiety are even more delicate and fragile than people that don’t. A person that is supposed to help and care turned me down without even bothering to ask what my issues are, without even meeting me in person to see who I am as a person to then mutually decide whether she is the right therapist for me or not? Now the news broke out that Caroline Flock had killed herself and in one article this is what she said: 'when I actually reached out to someone they said I was draining’ That got me thinking- is that what denise thought of me- that I was sounding too draining for her to help me? I am lucky enough to have an enormous amount of support from my friends and my husband so I am not thinking of a suicide but just wanted the extra help as I know it can be too much for people in my life to handle my mood swings and struggles. But what if I didn’t have that support? What if I was the one that killed herself because I didn’t get that help I needed?!? I would ask Denise to not only re-evaluate herself as a doctor but as a human being? What good person turns someone down when they are in need of help? It really sadness me that it can be really hard finding not only the right person to help but a genuinely good person that cares. Good luck to everyone who is struggling.

First I have to say that I have trouble with strangers as a veteran with PTSD. Dr D made me feel at ease faster than I had expected. It also took less time/sessions to reach a non-symptomatic point in my everyday life. Speaking from my experience, you can easily trust Dr D to be able to handle any issue. Reason I'm giving 5 stars: 1. Outstanding location options that work for just about anyone in the London metro area. 2. Dr D does not waste your time and makes sure you don’t as well - sessions are focused and productive in 50 min. 3. Great listener. Uses active listening techniques to let you know you are heard. 4. You are worth the effort and Dr D makes sure you know it. Your health is important and that includes your mental health. Dr D is an outstanding mental health provider and quite easily someone whose professional judgement you can trust.

Dr. D and the sessions I've had with her were incredibly helpful. She's helped me to approach problems and issues I've had with a new mindset, and helped me to understand my own way of thinking and to analyze patterns in my life. In every session she was warm and caring while also remaining professional - it felt so great to have her listening and providing feedback. I'd so highly recommend working with Dr. D

Dr Freeman is an excellent and dedicated professionalist, she truly saved me from my anxiety attacks. I have developed sudden and unexpected fear of flying to the extend that I was utterly unable to board a plane. During my sessions with Dr Freeman time was well spent and we quickly delved to the heart of matters.I have learned new strategies on how to control my thought and emotions not only during flying but also on a daily basis. She even flew with me in order to examine my behaviour and guide me out of my pannick attacks. Thanks to her brilliant approach and dedication, I made great progress in my mental health condition.

Denise has the wonderful ability of making you feel completely at ease while subtly encouraging you to find out yourself the true answer and nature of your thoughts. These sessions have helped me learn a lot about myself and have been invaluable in bringing me into an overall much happier and more content state.

I had been experiencing some work related stress and anxiety issues for quite some time. Dr D helped me find the confidence to challenge myself and others in my professional and personal life. By the time I had my last session, my stress and anxiety issues had gone and my outlook now is generally positive.I am mentally in a much better place. Whilst Dr D was professional at all times, I would liken her to a good friend yet firm, very inspirational and sincere. I would definitely recommend Dr D.

Dr Denise Freeman helped me a lot after a very stressful period in life which triggered my anxiety. Throughout the therapy she was always kind, helpful and wise. She made me feel relaxed and at ease sharing my struggles. After our seven sessions, I felt confident to live fully and not only face my fears, but overcome them. I am in a much better state now than only a few months ago. I am very grateful for having such a wonderful therapist, and would encourage anyone struggling with fears and anxiety to seek professional help.

I saw Dr Freeman for a series of sessions. She dealt with my problems and issues in a constructive way. She did not sugar coat anything, we worked through the reality of the problem and put structured processes in place to take me forward. She gave me the confidence to "make leaps" and as a result, she changed my life - it literally is not too big a statement to make. She changed my life and I would 100% recommend her as a counsellor.

Being new to Therapy I didn’t know what to expect, Dr Freeman guided me through the process seemlessly and gave me the tools and ways of thinking to battle my anxieties. The booking process is easy and flexible so you can book in as and when you need to with no problem.

I would highly recommend Dr Freeman to help anyone suffering from anxiety or phobias. I had a course of 12 sessions with Denise for needle anxiety where we used a variety of different techniques to help put me back in control as this was taking over decisions in my life. I found Denise to be very easy to speak to without any judgement and helpful in bringing confidence back in my life. She will give you practical exercises to do at home so you have the tools to stay in control without needing lots of sessions and personally felt that she had my best interest at heart. When I had the confidence to have a blood test booked after avoiding this for around ten years, I felt a bit of anxiety coming back so went to see her and she volunteered to come with me to support me at my appointment, which to me shows how much she cares for her patient’s well-being. I was able to use the coping techniques she gave me and was able to have the confidence to go myself, which for someone that wasn’t able to talk about or see needles for a long time, was a big achievement for me.

Denise has helped me immensely. I struggled with therapy in the past because I never fully connected with the therapist. Denise put my mind at ease and I can genuinely say that she has helped me become a better person. My family and friends all noticed a difference after the first few sessions I had with her. She has given me the tools I need to live a happy and un-anxious life! I honestly missed her when I stopped my sessions! I could not recommend Denise more!
