Cranley Clinic

In November I saw Mr Ali Ghanem. I cannot recommend Mr Ghanem enough. From my initial consultation to my treatment and follow up he has looked after me and put me at ease throughout.

I had a hydra facial at the Cranley Clinic last week. I received a warm welcome and the process was explained to me in detail. The staff were professional and friendly. The facial itself was relaxing and the therapist talked me through each step so I know what to expect. The effect was nothing short of amazing! Initially I was a bit pink, but this wore off within a couple of hours. My skin felt fantastic, smooth and hydrated. It looked even better after a couple of days. I will definitely return for another hydra facial at the Cranley.

I had an amazing experience at the Cranley Clinic, I was treated for acne and the results were incredible. Everything reigns professional from the welcoming receptionists to the amazing nurses who treat with such care and concern. I couldn't have asked for a better experience whilst treating something so personal. I would highly recommend Dr Lowe and his incredible army of nurses!

I've been going to Nick for many years and I have never once been disappointed: he explains everything cheerfully, succinctly and professionally. His credentials are impeccable. His staff are efficient and helpful. If how you look is important, this is the place you should go to - the most up to date treatments done in an aesthetic environment at an affordable cost. I've tried others and keep coming back here.

Can not recommend Dr Lowe and the team enough. I originally visited Dr Lowe to reduce the appearance of a scar on my chest. I have since been back where Dr Lowe has helped with my acne. His advice and the treatments there have been amazing for me, and the nurses are always so kind and professional, always happy to answer any questions you have.

Visited the Cranley Clinic after reading about their Coolsculpting liposuction treatment online. The clinic is nice and I had a thorough consultation with Dr Lowe where he explained how the treatment would work and what kind of results I could expect. The treatment itself was over fairly quickly and honestly the discomfort wasn't an issue at any point. A couple weeks later and I can definitely see the results, very happy with the service. Would visit the Cranley Clinic again in future.

I was very disappointed in Nick Lowe at the Cranley Clinic. Unfortunately after almost a year seeing Divinia, who consistently provided an outstanding clinic experience, I was looking for a second opinion on something another dermatologist in Dubai, as I sometimes work there, had treated me for. My consultation with Nick Lowe did not go well. His wife had previously been rude to me on the phone about me wanting to reschedule, and he proved no different when I did turn up. He took offence that I had visited another dermatologist for the matter (which is my right? Especially when he is 3,500km away...), suggested he was the only dermatologist capable enough to diagnose and treat me, and then insulted me throughout the consultation. Eventually, after much persuasion and suggestion that I should leave and go somewhere else, he agreed to examine me. After about two minutes, he changed his mind and told me to leave. His assistant then began to berate me about being 5 minutes late (I phoned ahead to apologise the minute I knew traffic would be slow) and that I was an idiot for going somewhere else. Honestly, I have never been spoken to like that - I felt like I needed to say constant pleasantries to him to calm him down and avoid him erupting in rage, almost as if he were an infant.

After 20 years being a patient, living in Spain, and NEVER have cancelled an appointment, I had to cancel one due to my husband´s leg fracture. I called the clinic 28 hour before the appointment, only to be told that I had to pay the full price of the appointment ( L 400,00 yes L 400,00 for a IPL with an assistant) Explaining the circumstances I was told that no exceptions could be made... I requested to speak with Dr. Lowe and was harshly rebuked with " Dr. Lowe does not get involved in the financials of the clinic " So much for a “caring” doctor, who only seems to mind the bottom line of his cash till!!! I saw Dr Lowe for 8 / 9 months for the treatment of facial acne. I asked to be put on Roaccutane, after 10 years of trying other treatments, and he obliged. After a slow start, the drug worked amazingly well and I am thrilled with the results. However, the service was incredibly poor and I would not recommend this practice for people with genuine medical issues e.g acne. The practice felt far more like a commercial venture for things such as sculpting and fillers, rather than a clinic for people with dermatological issues. I was given approx 5 mins per consultation, sometimes less, which is appalling value for money considering each consultation is £100. He often would not even examine my face and barely looked up at me. Instead he just wrote another prescription and ushered me along. I was constantly being flogged books and expensive serums, which I have to say did not do a thing. I remember asking if there are any foods which exacerbate acne that I should avoid, and he said his book covered that and that I could buy it from reception. It was incredibly obvious that that since I wasn't there for the expensive lasers and peels etc., Dr Lowe was not interested in me as he couldn't make any money out of me. I paid thousands over the course of the treatment, and every consultation it felt increasingly like he didn't care. Roaccutane is a very potent drug and affects your mental and physical well-being. During my treatment with the Cranley Clinic I felt wholly unsupported and vulnerable. Why train to be a doctor if you genuinely don't care about your patients? A very sad experience overall.
