Really great efficient and fast appointments, had mole mapping done and saw Dr. Friedman. I was looking all over London and surprisingly found not many places with great reviews or much info about their mapping/mole removal services.
Here they really have put my mind at ease, as was worried about moles with family cancer history and a few changing lately, had them all done with their awesome mole mapping machine. Will now go back each year or sooner if anything changes, glad I got this done and they've put my mind at ease, well worth the money.

I had mole mapping done here, which is a pretty expensive service, and it just wasn't very good. With something like this you expect the utmost care and attention, because it literally could be the difference between knowing you have skin cancer or not. Unfortunately I found the service pretty poor - the dermatologist only looked at 3 moles (of the hundred+ I have), the report was delayed, and it didn't include half the detail I would have expected. I could've had the same service from the NHS. If you are considering booking mole mapping and looking for very comprehensive review of your skin, I wouldn't recommend this clinic unfortunately. I have emailed my feedback to the clinic over a week ago but unfortunately nobody has taken the time to acknowledge it yet.

I have never had to write a review in my life but I think it is important that people are aware of the poor service and care from this clinic. Avoid! Save your money! If I could give zero stars I would! Honestly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. All they want is your money. I have been going back and forth with them for three months because they failed to solve my skin issue and failed to prescribe creams which are favoured by other medical experts. If your waiting for a call back or email... don’t bother! The receptionist can only say “I’ll pass your message on” or “send an email”. The doctors can’t be bothered to respond (Dr Friedman to be exact) let alone getting in contact with the practice manager (Lizette) who apologises for her colleagues slow responses but does the same thing and doesn’t bother to follow up on what you spoke to her about. I requested a refund and was told that wouldn’t be possible because it would mean she’s saying she doesn’t trust her doctors judgement and wouldn’t look good. I was reluctant to have another appointment, because of the disappointment the first time around. However, She told me over the phone that she would speak with another doctor to see if I could what could be done differently and see if something else can be prescribed... have I heard from the lady? No. I had to contact her to find out what is going on and she says Dr Friedman will be in touch... completely the opposite to what I was told on the phone. The same doctor who prescribed steroids which made my eczema worse. The same doctor who prescribed creams associated to skin cancer. After I sent pictures of how bad my skin had got after the steroids they prescribed I was advised to keep using the steroids. As the patient... a paying patient at that! I am being told “we are too busy and short staffed that’s why we haven’t got back to you” never should a patient be giving an excuse as to why they are not receiving the upmost care or service. Are you giving this excuse to new patients getting in touch who want to pay for a service? Or just patients who you’ve already taken there money and failed to help them with there skin condition? The pro topic creams they prescribed are associated to skin cancer and band from other medical experts and want to charge £30 for one cream with such risks! If a NHS GP which is free wouldn’t give there patients such creams, why would a clinic with paying customers prescribe such damaging creams. The stress from waiting to responses, to my eczema getting worse, to throwing over £200 down the drain... it’s not worth it. Save your money! Your sanity! And stick with the NHS! This isn’t even half of my experience... but I’d be going on forever. Lastly the communication was spot on when I was PAYING over £200 to join the clinic for an appointment, after that...

I was left dissatisfied with the outcome of my consultation and would hesitate to recommend the clinic to anyone struggling with long-term skin conditions who has already tried standard treatments. In a nutshell, while I got a more detailed examination, I ended up with the same diagnosis and treatment plan I would have got from my GP but for a much higher price.
My main frustration are concerns about the safety and efficacy of the treatments prescribed. I was prescribed a Emulsifying Ointment (similar to Acqueous cream) to help with a skin condition – it is likely eczema - in a sensitive area. This contains sodium lauryl sulphate – a known skin irritant – which is no longer recommended for people suffering from this condition by the National Eczema Society and the Government advised of adverse effects in 2014 (7 years ago at the time of writing!). I’m dismayed to see a dermatologist at Harley Street Dermatology Clinic continuing to prescribe a product seemingly out of habit when there are public warnings against using it. On following up, the doctor explained when used as a wash off substance (not a leave-on cream), it is “okay”.
I was also prescribed a steroid cream which I voiced concerns about as it might interact with another health condition – it was confirmed this may be a risk but presented as minor. Again, I would have liked to explore alternatives but none were mentioned. I was also not given as much information about the concern of the skin thinning as a result of using steroids as I would have liked although the doctor was clear that I must come back if I was using the cream a lot. In short, I’m more convinced the suggested treatment likely doesn’t cause harm to my skin than that it will help. I have not used the treatment so would be unable to advise on whether it is effective and what the side effects are.
What I did appreciate about the consultation was the time the doctor took initially to carefully examine me and looking at my skin as one big organ where clues might be found anywhere, not just in the area of irritation. The doctor was welcoming and very thorough in asking questions although she didn’t give me a lot of chance to consult my own carefully prepared notes.
I struggle to understand or accept that this doctor in particular and dermatology as a medical profession in general have not found other potential solutions to such a common skin condition as eczema. Other medical practitioners have made me aware of a link between oestrogen and eczema, the importance of lactic acid as part of the skin micro-biom as well as links between eczema and diet, food allergies immune health or mental health. I was hoping to get more answers on this from the doctor as a well-paid and highly-trained specialist but she didn’t engage with this. I understand the evidence base here may be sparse but it is growing at the same rate as evidence of the dangers of steroids.
Personally I see a nutritionist at 1/5 of the price for a consultation twice as long and have found more answers there and this is a path I would recommend to others without hesitation.

I had a couple of quite large seborrheic keratosis marks on my temples and several small skin tags that I knew from family history would get worse unless treated. I couldn't recommend this clinic highly enough. They are very friendly and relaxed at the same time as professional. They are extremely knowledgeable, they explained everything very clearly to my daughter and me. The session worked really well online as well. Also the medicine came the next day so all round we're very happy. I have been on two separate occasions for separate issues and both times it's been a very good experience.

Don't bother going here, you'll end up wasting money and time. I had an appointment with the doctor which they charged me more than £200 for, and after a month I'm still having ongoing problems no thanks to her. I tried to get in contact with the doctor for three days just for them to tell me to email the info email address as she is too busy to have a 5 minute phone conversation.

Hi all, just thought id give an update review (google doesn't allow me to add another one for some reason so will just be editing the previous one).
After not being satisfied with the service, the management were very prompt in responding to me, they apologised sincerely and further to that booked me in with a no charge consultation with the lead clinical director Dr Adam Freidmann.
Dr Friedmann was very good and took the time out to understand my problems, upon a history taking and scalp check he was 100% sure that it was androgenetic alopecia (aka male pattern baldness). We talked through some treatment options, did explain to me about prp (platelet rich plasma) and was honest to me in saying there wasn't much research behind to see its effectivenesses. Weighed all the options up and went with the Regaine minoxidil and finasteride 1mg combination. He did make sure I was aware of side effects and requested my gp to perform blood tests in 3 months time just to make sure everything is going well. Have a follow up with him in 3 months time then will be yearly from that moment onwards. I can actually see some significant improvements in my hair with hair loss being reduced in such a short amount of time. It has taken the pressure off me psychologically but still a long way to go for the final results.
Was definitely happy this time round and I would defo recommend this clinic in particular dr friedmann who is a very courteous individual.

It was good to be treated with professionalism and care. When I say the doctor and all the employees of the Harley Street Dermatology Clinic made me feel that I was in safe hands and even made me smile when I left - then you can believe they are the best. Strongly recommend this clinic - for serious conditions like skin cancer. My normal GP practice was slow and grossly incompetent. The Dermatology Clinic was the exact opposite - thoughtful, caring and highly responsive. I was seen within one hour by a fantastic Consultant Dermatologist Dr Chinthapalli. She answered all my questions in an intelligent and reassuring way. After the consultation - I was immediately taken for surgery - the lump on my arm was removed expertly by her. Fortunately I don't have to wait for my GP referral - which was the maximum possible wait - 2 weeks - and referred to the wrong Hospital! It cost me a bit over £1K - but was certainly worth it - to avoid the stress of waiting 2 weeks for the wrong Hospital department!

I arranged my consultation with Dr Adam Friedmann over the phone. Reception were excellent, understanding and able to fit me in in a matter of days. I also received a few calls prior to my appointment to confirm my attendance, the reception follow ups leading to the appointment were very polite and professional. On arrival, I was greeted with a warm welcome and waited in the waiting area where tea/coffee is available. I was called - Dr Friedmann is extremely professional, warm and understanding. He discussed my concerns and gave me a thorough examination. I had a biopsy, Dr Friedmann was thorough on the procedure and after care prior to conducting the painless extraction, the nurse assisting him that day was also excellent. Within a couple of weeks, thankfully, I received positive news. I would highly highly recommend Dr Friedmann and The Harley Street Dermatology Clinic. Should I need to, I would definitely return.

We were given a 8 week wait time with NHS and we really wanted an appointment earlier so opted to to see a private doctor, but should have just waited. Very frustrating.

Probably the best clinic I have been to! Went to the GP as my daughter suffered from eczema and they did not diagnosis her as apparently it was too early. So I decided to go privately and Dr Laura Proudfoot took the time to understand the history and has prescribed us a few medicines. Over night i can see such a drastic change and couldn't be any more pleased with the outcome. Definitely would recommend this clinic!

I had a great experience with Dr Victoria Akhras. She is kind and takes her time to listen and advise. I am extremely happy with the service at the clinic from start to end.
I have also seen nurse for microneedling treatment and the experience was better than I could have ever expected. The nurse is lovely and she makes sure you are well taking care of and that you leave happy. Her name is VIlma. I would definitely recommend this treatment and Vilma.

Horrible staff, horrible doctor and horrible experience. We booked with Dr. Laura Proudfoot, and we’re deeply disappointed with the very poor “NHS Style” service at Private medical cost. We spend over £600 for a basic treatment and the treatment was far from being effective. We were told at the appointment that the doctor will redo the procedure if it was ineffective, but on the day of the follow-up appointment she called and cancelled the appointment via her assistant, and said we should consult a surgeon and she can’t help us and does not understand the issue. The least a doctor can do is make an assessment and provide her professional opinion during the appointment, instead of leaving a message for her patient that she doesn’t want to see us anymore. That is very unprofessional and unethical for a medical professional. I am a doctor and would never treat my patients in that manner.
On top of the the front office staff is just horrible at treating the patients with respect. Both times at the clinic the staff was rude and unpleasant.
I hope the learn and improve their service and I truly don’t understand how this place got even 3 stars on google reviews.

I have been struggling with Discoid Eczema on and off for about a year and a half. Last month my eczema got infected to a second degree, I couldn't leave the house or even shower from the pain. But then I decided to see Doctor Adam Friedmann at The Harley Street dermatology clinic, Dr. Friedmann is nothing short of a miracle worker, he was able to cure the infection completely and subdue the Eczema to a minimum, using ointments and tablets. The entirety of the past year and a half doesn't compare to the severity of my condition last month and I am seeing the best results with Dr. Friedmann's treatments. Overall very clean clinic, friendly staff and fast response when it comes to booking a consultation. I would recommend this clinic and especially Dr. Adam Friedmann to anyone who is suffering from any skin conditions.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL! I booked a consultation then found another clinic which is slightly cheaper so I cancelled the appointment and a week later they send me a recipt for £137 for not canceling my appointment!!! What???? Why did they even keep my details and my address I have never been their patient. As soon as I cancelled my appointment my details should have been removed from their system
Please do not book with them! Absolutely disgusting!

I visited The Harley Street Dermatology Clinic and had a consultation for a skin tag removal of my scalp with Dr Adam Friedmann. I have had this since I was a teenager and it was not every pleasant to look at and to touch, which caused me to be conscious of the hairstyle I wear.
I must say occasions like this are not the ones you look forward to, however Dr Friedmann reassured me and suggested the best option for removing the skin tag.
The procedure itself was quick and painless- local anaesthetic was used. Further to this I received a letter with laboratory results confirming that no cancerous cells were found in the skin tag.
After my visit to Dr Friedmann I have gained a new confidence to go for any hairstyle I wish not thinking of how to hide the skin tag.

Great place! I went to see Dr Friedmann and he has helped me with my palmoplantar pustular psoriasis. He is very understanding and provides a lot of helpful information during consultation. With his advice and correct medication my skin has been healed and i am back to normal life!

I had been battling a giant stubborn painful plantar verruca for two years. I spent so much money trying various treatment options to no avail.
I was desperate, depressed, in constant agony and felt totally helpless.
A friend of my brother's recommended Dr. Friedman and said 'if anyone can help you... it's this man'
When I visited Dr. Friedman, he assessed the situation and decided to surgically remove the verruca and send the tissue for further tests.
I am now totally rid of that horrible verruca and back to my normal self. I will recommend Dr. Friedman without hesitation. Thank you so so much for healing me.

I was absolutely delighted with my session with Dr Adam Friedmann. At 53, my facial skin has noticeable dark spots and patches from the sun and age. Dr Friedmann took the time to patiently examine these and to explain the possible causes and the options to reduce or eliminate the dark spots. He clearly told me one of the treatments is not likely to work on some of the spots and suggested a topical cream. He then treated some spots with cryotherapy, with a follow up review in 4 weeks. As Dr Friedmann has warned me, there was a slight stinging sensation on the treated skin which lasted only 3 or so hours. I am particularly impressed with Dr Friedmann's honest assessment, recommending the correct and best treatment for me. The clinic is in a great accessible location and the staff there is very friendly and helpful. This clinic is highly recommended if you are looking for a professional and friendly service.

A fantastic experience with Dr Friedmann and this state-of-the-art clinic located in Central London. The receptionists are absolute stars and helped book me in to have 3 irritating moles and an itchy keratosis on my face removed. I've previously had several moles removed from GPs which have left scars so I communicated this to him that this was a concern of mine going into theatre. He was incredibly understanding and informative about this- which honestly is really effective in managing nervousness about these kind of procedures! When it comes to matters of your skin's health and appearance, you want a doctor you can trust to do a fantastic job and Dr Friedmann is that doctor. His assessment was thorough and understanding and my concern spots now look great! This experience went far beyond my expectations - Dr Friedmann is truly an expert in dermatology and patient care, the clinic is well worth a visit.

Awful experience. Dr Lee didn’t do any tests or understand the concern of skin thinning I had because he proceeded to tell me that his trained eye tells him it’s dermatitis and have me an even stronger steroid to use on a very sensitive area. This has left me with atrophy of the skin and due to absorption, I now have thinned skin all over my body!! I am traumatised by my experience and have to live with this now due to his poor patient care and rushing to prescribe a steroid when other alternatives are available, especially when I already had a phobia of using them
