Not perfect but the college itself has wonderful staff and the canteen food is pretty good and affordable in comparison to other colleges. The support staff were the best when I attended, went through a lot at home and they were constantly checking up on me. The only issue I had was the staff coming/going, felt like we never really got proper structure at some points as teachers would have quit and we would not know. Thanks to my teachers and support I am now on an apprenticeship.

Very unprofessional and have no idea what they are doing, wasted over a month trying to enrol onto a course and first they lost the paperwork I completed. I constantly called to get information to make sure I am eligible but they was misinformed, until eventually one nice lady who knew what she's talking about explained and told me I'm not eligible. I even had a tutor call late at night to enrol me to this course that I am not eligible for. Very disappointed as they wasted my time and efforts.

Came to this college a few years ago for an interview. Did not like the idea of hearing that they don’t deal with bullying as it keeps happening and we can’t stop it. The college is very big and some bits of it are very modern. There is an Indian restaurant here as well plus a small theatre which is great for small theatre events.

I have contacted the college twice with a view to starting a course. Sadly, on both ocassions the staff failed to respond to requests for information, so I went elsewhere. If an organisation cannot get its order getting activities right, how likely are they to get their order fulfillment activities right?

What ever you do, do not chat to one of the mentors she is so rude and she’s meant to be there to “help” people with their issues not make them worse and feel like trash for trying to talk to them and all she does is look at you like she don’t won’t to talk Other than that I would recommend the college the teachers are nice and supportive about anything

I'm already having problems with nescot and haven't even started yet. They said I can't do the Level 3 Animal managment as for 16-19 years old which discrimination. I have sign up to do the an Adult course for Customer service level 2 as soon as I got the information they went on about student loan which they said its was free for a level 2 course and they said only for level 3 courses you need to pay.

Spent a year here , really didn’t learn much at all sadly. At previous schools and colleges I always did well in class and enjoyed what I was learning but overall here I hated the whole experience and was never engaged at all in class. I wouldn’t recommend at all if your over 19 and want to study a practical course that you will have to pay for as it won’t be worth it , the teaching is of very poor quality , with teachers arriving late to lessons constantly and taken holidays mid year while the class is during examination. The lessons are very uninteresting and will make you lose interest in the subject due to the lack of lesson preparation and structure. By the end of my experience at Nescot I choose a completely different career path due to my bad experience here , this has to be the worst learning experience in my life and I know other students from the college who felt very similarly. I hope by now things change for future students or people read this and avoid the mistake I made. I mean no disrespect to Nescot but this is the honest truth of how I felt during my time here.

I am a student myself at NESCOT College. I take part in the course of travel & tourism and found it challenging the first time when i came, but got the full support of my teachers and the students in my class that made me hit the deadline and finish assignments quickly. The thing is if you really want to do the course then teachers will find it easier to help you, but if you can't be bothered then teachers will find it difficult to help you. Bullying is hard to stop if you don't get to know who is doing it, but I fully support people who are getting bullied and I wont stay and watch how people humiliate someone. I will advice them what to do and also talk the bullies myself. Every now and then tutorial lessons help students to talk about bullying, BREXIT, Drugs etc. We do learn about these things, how to avoid and what it is feeling like, so I find it worrying to believe that there are so many students at NESCOT that has been bullied or experienced negatives about the College. If you feel the same talk to your Student Rep's, Teachers or Head Department for a solution. Soon you will be also able to talk to the FE and HE Student Governors at NESCOT COLLEGE. I propose a site for Nescot students if they want to talk and meet their Student Governors. NESCOT is a great college with lot of facilities and activities. There is a gym, Starbucks, Indian Restaurant (Rasika), Big Cantina, Sports Hall, and more. Not to forget the library with Computers and books for students to revise and finish their assignments if they cant finish them in their classrooms.

I have been at nescot college for nearly 2 years and when I first came to this college I really thought that my college experience was gonna be good but instead it was bad. Although some of the teachers were not that bad but through out my time at college they do NOT do a good job on bullying I got bullied by 2 people this year for like 4months straight and all they could do is blame it all on me and make me look like I am just crazy in the mind and that I am making everything up when I wasn't. Answer me this why should I be going to this college where they don't do enough for bullying and why should I go somewhere where I feel like I ain't even wanted anymore this is how I have been feeling for quite a while now and I've come to say that I am dropping out of this college and I won't be back because I can't cope with this bullying that has been going on for like 4months us students shouldn't have to wait 4months for someone who is bullying us for like 4months no one should have to wait for that long to be sorted out. This isn't right I hate how all of this has turned out for me and I am not happy and my mum isn't happy as well. I hope someone sees this and actually realise that they are losing a lot of good students because of the bullying maybe be more stricked and serious on bullying even in the foundation learning department it needs to be the same for the main college people. I was in the foundation learning department and not forgetting that I got hit by a boy last year which took even longer to sort out and all the teachers could say was "oh he's got over it and maybe you should" excuse me but I just got him by a boy how am I supposed to let him get away with it tell me this why do you nescot think its OK to say that someone in the foundation learning can get away with hitting a girl when if it happened in the main college the police would be called but this college is basically saying and its true if you think about it they are basically saying that people with very bad needs shouldn't be kicked out of college if they have hit someone but if this happened in the main college the police would be called. I am sorry to say this but if your a parent who doesn't like their own child to get bullied and want a college that deals with bullying properly then this isn't the college for you.

To sum it up, the college puts money first, students second. No desire in the college to help students progress in their careers, and most worryingly the teachers show zero respect towards their students.

As an evening adult student I have had a very positive experience at nescot which includes the tutors who have been more than willing to help myself and others. I have learnt alot and I am pleased I chose nescot as my college of choice. I haven't found any bullying issues involving tutors infact my tutors couldn't have been any more helpful when I had an issue with another student discriminating against me. The cafe is always well stocked with nice food at reasonable prices. I would recommend this college to anyone who wants to put the effort in to gain higher education.

Is a VERY judgemental college, and has been called a 'good' college and that the staff and non-judgement but that is all for show, the teachers can bully as much as the students!!!! And they do!!!

As a previous student of NESCOT. I will not recommend this college, this is due to what I have experience. I was bullied by my previous classmates therefore I have reported it and the teachers didn't do anything about it. The bullying continued and I ended up retaliating which caused me a 2 weeks suspension. Teachers often mark students work based on favouritism. Students who are teachers pets are the only one who enjoys the course. Overall teachers and staff are so unfair towards their students.

I am going to tell you the goods & bads about this college , so here we go... Goods- made a few friends (that's the only good thing) Bads- the canteen needs serious work the food is absolutely vile so I don't use it no more, the staff are always unorganised, the courses are not interesting, to many people there who are on drugs and the list goes on. I have been at this college for 2 years now and I can honestly say that I think last year was better than this year, I have completed a catering course and nearly a progression into employment course. I will not be returning after this year, I just want June 2015 to hurry up so I can get out of there. Rant over , sorry for all the negativity but you need to be told.

Rubbish college (Teachers have favorites and don't pick or ridicule the favorite students - AKA "Teachers pet.") Also takes staff at Nescot college ages to return calls or emails if at all!

Staff patronize and bully students aswell as students bullying each other, and the food in the canteen needs a lot of improvement aswell as the behavior from it's staff and students

Today I went there to have a look at the collage. The staff was not helpful and pushed me and my friend down on what we want to do when we leave full time education. They didn't tell us about the course as when we left we didn't no any think about it. they weren't helpful at all. I will not be applying there as I didn't get a good vibe.
