The Garden Design Diploma Course was the best course I ever passed and I had a very good and forward-looking time. The course is well structured, theory and practice are balanced, workshops and studio days enable you to exchange with your peers and to go into details of your design with your tutors – and this is fun. The administration management is very well-organised and very quick! Lecturers are well-known and experienced experts and they are very keen on sharing their knowledge with you. It was very sad to say good-bye on graduation day, to friends, peers, tutors – everyone. After more than 5 years of self-employment I still benefit from the quality oft the one-year diploma class. I graduated from the one year Garden Deign diploma in 2019 and can say with complete confidence its a remarkable place. I went in knowing next to nothing and came out with my final student project winning a Society of Garden Design award! The teaching is phenomenal with Andrew Wilson being a highly experienced and skilled teacher with a very well structured curriculum and fantastic learning culture in studio days with many highly regarded industry pros coming in to support our learning. The course is intense but when you are doing a career change in one year you want intensity. I had to postpone during the year i started for personal reasons and the college were really supportive and kept a place for me for the following year. The course covers the main areas thoroughly with tutors who are top of their game in the industry. I understand that there is more focus on hard landscaping than many similar courses which I’m pleased about as this technical part is the largest cost of any build and needs to be done correctly. They restrict the cohort each year to 30 so on studio days its max 15 people which is great and very personal. It’s was an absolute joy and gave me the confidence to set up my own practice which Ill glad to say is going great. All in all the best design school in the UK. Consistently winning the student Society of Garden Design awards in recent years speaks volumes. volumes

One of the greatest opportunities I had to advance my career and learn more about the subject I love was attending the Planting Design diploma last year at London College of Garden Design. I picked up so much from the course - headed by the passionate and knowledgeable Andrew Fisher Tomlin and Andrew Wilson that -since graduating- I find endless nooks of horticulture to pursue. This all feeds back into my business, giving me confidence to push the boat out with designs and take out a much more varied client profile. I can’t recommend the course enough to anyone looking to build their design skills and planting knowledge. I completed the Planting Design Diploma in its first year in 2016. Best thing I ever did. Excellent tutors and speakers. Challenging but fulfilling. Met some wonderful people and valuable industry contacts.

Great teaching delivered in a clear and concise manner. Course was well structured and went into a lot of detail. Tutors were excellent being leaders in their field. Good introduction to Sketch up and Vectorworks. Hard work overall but really enjoyable throughout!

I completed the Construction Design course last year and loved. I have been designing for 10 years but wanted to improve my design detailing and specifications. It's given me an added confidence and understanding of construction detailing. Much recommended.

I studied for the one year diploma here, and it was excellent. Fantastic teaching quality, solid curriculum, well-organised, great location and good support throughout the course. Now that I've graduated they continue to help me out, and in fact I've worked with four leading designers, none of which would've happened without having gained the contacts I got from the course.
