Recently reopened after an extensive refurb, which I think has been worth every penny. The ground floor and lending section in the basement are now very welcoming and I was glad to see that the 1st floor Reading Room was retained.

Great library. A beautiful building which has recently been modernised. It has a contemporary atmosphere whilst maintaining the historical features. An excellent place to study and the free wi-fi is a bonus albeit doesn't seem to work on my laptop every time.
