Payed for a simple job and collected my car, by the time I went home the same problem arose again and when I went back not only did they refuse to refund me but they also refused to fix it.

My Skoda had been displaying spurious random warning lights for some time. The car also needed a new cam belt, brake discs, full service and MOT. Lion garage did a great job, very quickly, and sorted all the outstanding issues. What's more, they did it at a great price, lower than their estimate! It's not often that a garage charges you less than the estimate. Great team of guys & gals at Lion. Thanks especially to Martin. Cheers

They resolved a 2 year problem on my golf, other garages have milked me for, on the same day I went in to book in the vehicle.
Can't fault the service. Can't fault the price. Very knowledgeable guy at the desk, bless can't remember his name.
Would 100% recommend to anyone.
Would also recommend to anyone reading this, to make it a standard practice to always check your car pre and post garage repairs; including main dealers.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. My uncle took his car here & was told it will cost £200 to fix the issue at hand. They're very quick to take your money!! Anyway, picked the car up & was told it's fixed only to find; IT WASNT. - called back & he said okay bring it back I'll fix it. Did this & he realised it's beyond his capabilities & said that he now CANT fix it & wait for the best part! - NO REFUND. Absolute joke & will be taking legal action to ensure my uncle's money is returned to him.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE - A friend of mine had a problem with his car and was told it was fixed and cost him about £200. He took the car home and found that the problem was still there. Went back and spoke to a guy at the shop and was told he could no longer fix the problem and he wouldn't give us a refund.

I have an Amarok and a Tiguan which Lion look after for me. I have always found them professional, courteous and good value for money and this was the case again after today's visit to have a routine service replacement of the timing belt and water pump on the Amarok. Quite frankly I cannot understand some of the negative reviews on here but it is interesting that the latest cluster look suspiciously like an organised smear campaign from one disgruntled customer, in my personal opinion.

Great service, took my recently purchased A1 in as EPC light came on and lost its throttle and they diagnosed swiftly and was quick to rectify on the day. Not very savvy when it comes to cars so Martin spoke to the dealer i purchased the car from for me, explained the situation and sorted out the costs through my warranty and made it simple to collect and cut out any middle man issues. I am new to owning an audi and will be back for MOTs and any other faults based on this service, cheers guys.

I hope the person reading this is well, just to warn you DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES AS THEY WILL CHARGE YOU AND NOT FIX YOUR CAR. I went in with my peugeot as I was having issues with it. He charged me 200 pounds and did not fix my issue. I went back to him to get it fixed again and he tells me that he can't do anything and I will receive no refund. PLEASE DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNT MONEY HERE OR ELSE YOU WILL LOSE IT!!!

Very unprofessional, charged me for a job they didn't even do! Was meant to replace a part, after getting car back same problem occurred. Took to another garage and they said the part wasn't even changed. Waste of time, avoid. don't let them take your money they are very rude. Will make sure i take legal action soon, COWBOYS

Stay away. Cowboys....told EGR had to be replaced...work guarantee for one year got work done and in three months same error. Went back did not want to help. Went to another garage and guess what they did not replace EGR original part still in place. So I suppose very untrustworthy paid £600 for something they did not do.

My car's inginition module needed to be repaired and it was changed into a new one. First, I was told that will cost me £250.00 and, next day, they phoned to say the final price would be £435.00. Anyway, I accepted that price even though it was almost double the price they first told me. Then, I haven't been able to drive my car for two weeks and a half. Surprisingly, when I picked up my car, the steering wheel was twisted to the left. Next, I let the receptionist know about this problem, which it didn't exist before and was caused there in this garage by them. He showed himself arrogant and rude. Besides, he informed me that they could fix it but I'll have to pay an extra amount of money, £20.00. As I didn't agree with the solution they were giving me: having to pay more money for something that was caused there by them, I said to them that they had lost a client and that I will make sure everybody will know about this fraud and how bad customers are treated there. Eventually, he laughed at me. Please, don't think of this garage for your cars to be repaired. Really horrible experience and customer service.

Despite being a VW specialist they either didn't know how to fix my car or it wasn't worth their time. I just wish they'd told me that instead of messing me around for a week. It's difficult when you have to take time off work to get your car fixed and you have to keep chasing them because they never call you back. The way they handled my car was unprofessional and I'm left with a broken cover on the steering column. They didn't have a clue what they were doing and my impression of this company is that they just can't be bothered.

£160 bill to top up oil in gearbox
Found out next day garage which is across the road ..Gins ..charge £25 for 5 litre oil plus £20 labour as it only takes 5 min to top up oil in gearbox...
Before u give them your car for repairs...find the cost...then go gins .u will save more then 50% what lions garage charge...never again

I've full serviced my car 2 months ago by them and they left my car brake fluid tank lid open but after couple of days I've got brake fluid warning lights on which I was worried where I found inside the bonnet they left the lid open surrounding with dirty cloth which I've had closed the lid by myself. I service my car when I got service due light on but within after that 2 months I've got again oil change warning lights On, even I've have not done much mileage But still I have change my car oil and filters again by someone else buying parts by myself paying only labour I have found it's more cheaper than what i have paid them more than double money and i found my oil and filters was dirty and I doubt its not being changed.So I do not recommend.

Scammed!
Went here to get an issue fixed. They told me in the phone they would check my car out, which they did and then told me it would cost nearly £900 to fix it!!! Then said I owe a diagnostic charge of £39 when I was never told I would be charged for the diagnostic, I paid this anyway and told them I would think about it. 2 days later my car fixed itself?!!!!! they didn’t diagnose it properly, charged me for it as well! I called them but the gentlemen was extremely rude and denied everything. Would never go back to them ever!! Avoid at all costs!

Very poor experience. I maintain a clean and tidy motor and when my car was serviced by The Lion Garage, they returned it sticking of old socks. I was planning to return it for them to have a look but the manager rang me to tell me that I'd probably spilt milk in the car as it smelt on arrival. It felt like he was trying to fob me off with some half boiled excuse not realising I keep it in good nick and knew full well the condition of the car prior to service. That and the smell was coming from the air ducts and his story didn't make out. Needless to say I didn't take my motor back there - I wouldn't let them touch my car if they paid me!

Not satisfied at all with their service. I took my car to repair boot fault. Checked and said it will cost £130.when I went to collect my car they said I have to pay £180 asked how come extra reply to me there was some fault as well. What a joke complete thief.

Had work done from lion garage diagnosed a fault paid 355 pounds to repair then fault still there martin the man that runs this garage is a thief takes your money and then does not even does the job in hand claims to be a specialist garage what a joke AVOID and take your car to a reputable garage and do not pay cash to this garage as no after service ignorant non helpful staff
