I was really pleased with the service I received. My car was making a noise I couldn't pinpoint and it was booked in promptly. They were really friendly when I dropped the vehicle off and they explained a few possibilities and options. Not long after I arrived back home I had a call explaining what was required with a full cost breakdown. A subsequent call told me everything was done and Andy went through it all when I went to collect it. I will definitely use this company again.

I took my Q5 in for an interim service. Very easy to book the service you want via the website and then quick email responses to a couple of questions. Andy checked the service I chose and offered some other options but no pressure sales. Service was done within a couple of hours and wash was offered but I declined because it was better to collect rather than wait. On collection Andy went through service and condition of brakes, tyres dpf soot level and no errors from scan. It was my first time visit and I normally do most of my own serving, but my car still had a decent main dealer warranty left and I wanted to maintain its Audi service history but not their prices and the reviews on Audi Leicester put me off. So to sum up I'll be using Chapmans Audi again. Thanks to Andy and the Team.

Can't express how grateful I am that I was recommended Chapman. After my car was making a weird unusual noise, that was driving me insane. I took it to it several other garages, and left them scratching their heads, however, it seems like Chapman's managed to not only find the issue, but rectify it in good time. Electrical failure of hazards, indicators and brake lights on my Transporter quickly solved via excellent diagnosis by Adam and his efficient team. Effective information flow and likely cost analysis at all stages. I felt as if I was an important component of the decision making team. All resolved within one day, with follow up two days later to ensure all was well. Extremely positive and friendly service - highly recommended.

What a great customer experience. The batteries had failed on my remote control for the central locking, and with the cold weather the door lock froze regularly, so getting into the car using the key was a poor option. When this happened previously it took two trips to a main dealer to fix. This time a very helpful young man looked up the correct batteries for my 20+ year old A6. Fitted new ones, checked it worked and sent me on my way at no cost. What brilliant customer service. Only a small problem but a real inconvenience solved with a smile. I have used them before for specialist work and would recommend them to any VW Audi owner.

Beware! Went in to Chapmans for diagnosis/repair after Engine Management Light (EML) came on. Was asked to approve 2 hr diagnosis. Advised Lambda (O2) sensor needed replacing. According to invoice this was replaced, failed, further investigations conducted, replaced again after removing oxidation from ECU pins. In total charged 795.44 GBP for 2 hr diagnosis, 7 hrs labour (including 3 hrs with 2 technicians - 6 hours - to "check wiring") and new sensor. Felt I was being ripped off but needed my car so agreed to what they said was necessary (after being reminded of their "family values"). My mistake. Subsequently checked with an independent mechanic and was told that the time/charge was extortionate, should've been 2 hrs total (diagnosis and repair) and 250 GBP max. Today, 7 weeks later, I went to another garage after the EML light came on again. Very experienced Audi mechanics - diagnosis completed in less than 20 mins, advised that it was an intermittent fault (warning light disappeared after being reset) and further, that the lambda sensor was not new and not Audi (was it even replaced 7 weeks ago?). They suggested that I'd been completely "taken advantage of" by Chapmans and that it was completely unnecessary to have 2 technicians to check wiring for 3 hours and advised that if they replaced the sensor it would've been a total charge of 300 GBP. Both advised that I should report this to the relevant trade bodies. I will be. An expensive lesson, well learnt. If something doesn't feel right, trust your gut and get advice/a quote elsewhere. ****** Response to owners response: Thanks for your reply. Just to clarify: 1. I advised in my last email in July that I'd be taking my business elsewhere and that was my last communication. Given this, there was no need to communicate further. 2. The garage yesterday completed the "diagnosis and repair" for the same issue in 20 minutes for a tiny fraction of your cost. The diagnostic report clearly stated it was an intermittent malfunction (ie not a sensor failure). They also showed me the sensor, it was clearly not new. 3. Both completely independent mechanics came to exactly the same conclusion and were astounded at your charges. 4. I have reported this to Citizens Advice and Trading Standards.

I booked my main service today with Andy the owner of Chapmans and I was firstly most satisfied with the price compared to main dealers , secondly the honesty as they don’t sell you extras and finally the technician are professional. When I went in to collect the car Andy went through the whole service and once I was happy I paid the bill. We was recommended chapmans by a family member if it wasn’t for this we would of gone to Audi itself and we all know how expensive they can be. being a female I thought they might try pulling the wool over my eyes saying I need this and that done with my q5 but Andy was straight to the point and honest told me what needed doing and advised me what we should have done ect . I first took my vehicle to Chapmans for an air conditioning re-gas and new rear brake pads and discs, the price was extremely competitive and work was completed within a reasonable time frame. Following this I took my car to Chapmans again only a couple of days ago for a diagnosis of two issues I had with my vehicle, in which I was quoted £1,000 at the main Audi dealer alongside the removal of the dash. With my permission Chapmans undertook the first two hours of diagnosis and called me with an update, I was informed through out and asked my permission before anything was carried out. My faults were corrected after 3 hours and cost me a quarter of the price the main dealer quoted. Chapmans hadn’t only found the issue but actually corrected it, without removal of the dash...I could not be more pleased! I would definitely recommend Chapmans, they are professional and honest. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Avoid this garage, go to your closest Council MOT centre. I brought my relatively new Audi A4 to this garage for MOT. They mentioned the brakes may be catching, despite being only 10% worn. They then charged labour to remove the brakes and then put them back on, where they found no issues. It passed the MOT anyway, only with a £120+ cost. Ever since I've gone to Council MOT centres and my car has passed for the last 2 years with ZERO issues, no lies, no scams.

The guys here priced up the work for me very reasonably and even though they were very busy they managed to get the work done on my car and get it retested for me. Contacted Chapmans about a interim service for my S3 and found their price considerably cheaper than a local main dealer. Andy is great to deal with and kept me updated throughout the day as to progress and some unforeseen additional work that was required. After hearing many good things I decided to book in full major service although this was expensive compared to others it's considerably cheaper then main dealers. They are an Audi and Volkswagen specialist so they have a lot of knowledge and proper equipment. Andy was very pleasent and kept me informed. They even called to ask if I wanted to replace my front bushes to reduce labour in future.

After receiving an expensive quote from Audi Leicester, I was recommended to try Chapmans by a friend who had heard favourable reports. Not only was my quote £120 less at Chapmans, they did a marvellous job finished off with a thorough wash. Quite how Main dealers think they can charge over the top prices is beyond me and to be honest I would rather support local enterprises anyway. I can certainly recommend Chapmans and I will would not hesitate in returning.
