This was by far the biggest waste of time. I’m very aware of COVID. And what has been put in place to protect everyone. Staff and customers. But trying to voucher my iPad then buy another one on sight. Turned into a nightmare. 3 and half hours . Backwards and forwards like a yo yo. The young man who worked there was so sorry he couldn’t do anymore. He said it’s like having your hands tied. I said ok I understand can you ask your head office as this problem is a CEX one,if I can just use my debit card? He said no. They wouldn’t allow, they wouldn’t except cash either. What made this whole experience so disappointing was we followed all the guide lines Suggested. By CEX also I didn’t feel comfortable holding a Smartphone n the high street trying to fill out online questions. A few times some people were looking at what I was holding. in the end I returned my voucher for £448.00 pounds he then went to get my ipad ( which I had to empty all data then return all the way back from where I travelled from with nothing. A dreadful experience.

Hello, I was serves by Daniela and another young man unfortunately didn't get his name, but I was very impressed with the service, Daniela was friendly and helpful, I felt welcome enough to come back again. Brixton is a very nice store.

Had some good experience with this shop, but last month I had a very bad experience and am still upset about it,me and my son went to the Brixton shop to sell his PlayStation 3 and his Xbox 360 with all the cables and handsets for both games as he was bothering me for a PlayStation 4 so I wanted to make up his money, I spent a lot of money in this shop as I have 3 sons and they always wanted great etc ,reach at the shop but it was almost closing time and the guy at the counter takes all the bags with handsets and cable give me a receipt to come back the next day but he couldn’t go through all the games so I said I will bring back the games and leave the PlayStation and Xbox, we also have a box full of infinity games and which he said you don’t take which I just leave there as I didn’t want to take back home, I didn’t get back to the shop for over a week or so, when I went back the handsets for the Xbox was missing that means I couldn’t sell it to the shop it was 2 handsets I left there so now you can see how frustrated and furious I’m which I made a vow not to spend my money with you again as I still have the recipe for the PlayStation and the games but I rather loose that money than spend with you again, the girl at the front try her best to help but to no avail

Whilst the staff here apparently have no qualms selling over 18 games and DVDs to minors and buying suspicious looking phones from people, when you wish to do something as straightforward as take back an item and exchange it they become awkwardly scrupulous. For the trouble I posed them of returning a phone bought less than 48 hours previously I had to register my details, wait an hour for them to check the phone as a warranty (it wasn't a 'warranty') and then I was expected to receive back less than 50% of the price of the initial purchase. The (ironically) automated response was that returns on second hand items are goodwill, and despite my trying to reason with them they told me that this was their best offer. I reluctantly agreed, but they then told me I would have to wait another hour for them to check the phone over as they are buying it from me. Considering I hadn't even touched the phone since they had checked it the first time this seemed like the kind of clerical pettiness Kafka would be proud of.

I went to look for a camera initially and I found only couple of small ones for a very good price and I found one professional one that was perfect but it was quite overpriced that I ended up not buying a camera but I ended up buying a small phone for my family member who is only 5 years old. It's a very very affordable price. CeX is always the place to look for the best deals that no matter if you are buying or selling you will get a good deal at least that is my own personal experience with them dot plus their branches are everywhere and available to most of us so if that's your cup of tea go for it I know definitely I will be coming back in the future. I highly recommend

The Brixton cex is a large multi-floor store. Normally reasonably busy, but the staff are competent and deal with this. The staff have helped me with any issues I've come across and are polite. The testing and warranty replacement was flawless when I was there. Prices in the store are very competitive. Would recommend going and having a look for electronics/games/movies

Went into the Brixton store with a Xbox One controller I purchased from them to exchange it for another as it was not working and it has a bad case of "stick drift". I showed them a video showing the "drift" and showing that the controller I was returning was connected to the console and was the one in use. They then tested it and stated they did not see a problem and can not do anything. As a customer I am within my right to return a faulty product in exchange for another. Especially when I prove to them that the product is faulty and the recording is from the day of purchase. This experience has now left me with "a bad taste in my mouth".

Great shop and prices just the staff are not as awake. Twice been in there to purchase games and given the wrong disc. The second time they just mumbled and just informed me I was getting a refund didnt explain the problem. I also recently bought a ps4 + vr from them but had to go back as the salesperson didnt tell me it needed the ps4 camera as well causing me to go back to the shop for an extra accessory which should of been explained on original purchase.

always have a great experience when buying products from this store but today was very let down by a certain individual (girl) who absolutely stank of alcohol. I have never known such disgusting behaviour from a server in retail and feel she needs a stern word to control herself when working. NOT happy and will not resume my buying until this is under control.

They give you scratched games disc then when you go back and show them the state of the disc they then blame the customer for being to ruff when inserting the disc then they got the audacity to charge the customer for it to be cleaned. So people make sure you check your games disc before leaving the premises!
