I Took my Volvo C30 Here after reading the reviews online and have to say I can see why they have so many 5 star reviews. I was greeted by Sam who gave me a very competitive quote for a service, MOT and brake bleed. They had a loan car for me to borrow which made my life a lot easier. When I returned every little thing they did to my car was explained in full and why they did it. Even the technician that worked on my car took the time to speak to me. In summary a very friendly, competitive price. Will continue to use them for any further work to mine and my wife's car.,

As a musician when I am on tour I need my 2 vehicles a van and car to be reliable. I use Autovets for all my servicing and they have literally halved my motoring expenses compared to a couple of other garages I used to use. As someone who knows nothing about cars I am so glad I have finally found a garage that I know I can trust! They did my head gasket and cambelt change and I saved hundreds of pounds.

On the day I was leaving to drive up to Scotland with my fanily on holiday the air suspension failed in my X5. Autovets were fantastic, they were really helpful and friendly. They had me bring the car in that day, had the parts in stock to repair it as it was a common fault, and I was on my way the next afternoon. Squeezing me in between other jobs in their very busy garage saved me and my family so much stress and trouble. The guys were really friendly, helpful, and clearly know their stuff. I will be taking my car to them for all my servicing and repair needs from now on.

What can I say? The best mechanics I've ever known!
I've always felt like mechanics pull the wool over my eyes, not these guys. Very clear about what they can/cannot achieve with fair prices... And don't charge if they can't fix the fault (not like Mercedes charging an arm and a leg for doing nothing). They go above and beyond with their work.
Would like to thank Sam for his current work/advice on my E350 & supporting my girlfriend with her little blue Peugeot 207!

I had a blown head gasket on my van and called a few garages who didn't seem interested, so it was a breath of fresh air when I spoke to Sam at Autovets... Very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Sam did a top job on my Van, kept to his quote, in fact he gave me a discount. Sam is all about the detail, did a small job on the exhaust in which I wasn't charged for.
Like a new van, washed my van too.
Not the cheapest, but money well spent. Great service. ????

Absolutely Brilliant, friendly service at a cracking price. Nothing is ever too much trouble for these guys. Great communication and advice from Sam, everything explained in fine detail even if you don't understand a single technical word, whilst listening and nodding sagely. I've presented them with some truly awful, hideous vehicles over the years -some of which resemble the aftermath of a demolition derby, and not once have they ever been defeated by the challenges nor attempted to bolt the front door and display the 'closed' sign upon my arrival on the forecourt. Always get my MOTs and tyre changes done here too, and mostly on a 'while you wait' basis.
Really fast and efficient service, and always kept up to date with progress. Sam is always full of good ideas and occasionally unconventional methods to address a problem and always offers suggestions about ways to fix something in the fastest and most cost-effective way. The icing on the cake is that Neil the receptionist will keep you hugely entertained while you wait, with his heart-warming personal recollections from WW2. Brilliant!

Not my usual repair garage but I'd broken down late afternoon and the Autovet team rallied round and sorted my car out. Within a few days my car had been repaired, works really well and the manager even took my car on his day off to the main dealer for coding. Price was fair and service excellent.. recommended (really)

I took my Range Rover to Autovets for an MOT and nothing was too much trouble for them. They are a really friendly garage and are obviously very knowledgeable about cars and efficient too. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will be taking my car back in the future for services and repairs if necessary. I left my car with them but if I'd wanted to wait, there is a lovely comfortable large waiting room with a TV and drinks. Plus toys to keep the children happy if they have to wait with parents.

Sam and the team at Autovets have come to my rescue more times than I can count! I'm always rolling in with my old banger on its last legs and they fix whatever the problem is way faster than I ever expect them to. Amazing service, always happy to help if you just want to ask "should my car be doing this?". I expect I'm often asking silly questions but they never make me feel silly. Cannot recommend enough!

I treated myself late last year to my very first performance car and was anxious the first service be carried out properly. Initially I thought I'd take it to the main dealer but chose to also check with a local specialist (Autovets). Sam was very prompt and detailed in his responses when I first enquired, and could also offer me a competitive price. As I like being able to use local and independent businesses I thought I'd therefore give Autovets a shot. And it was definitely worth it; Sam takes the time to explain the whys and wherefores, clearly values transparency and offering good service, so I have absolutely no hesitation in recomminding Autovets to anyone looking for a reliable, honest and competitively priced local garage!

I’ve used auto vets in the past for a few jobs my normal mechanic said we’re too difficult for him and was always impressed with the service they offered, so when it came to giving my new car it’s first mot and first proper service since I purchased the car auto vets sprang to mind. I am so glad I took the car to them, from start to finish they offered a very friendly service with clear explanations as to what needs doing and why. I would highly recommend anyone gives them a try, they won’t disappoint you. At several points they could have easily added on more jobs to the service I was having increasing the overall price but they didn’t and they were very honest as to why. When I was collecting the car I was asked if I would mind adding an honest review and I said I would be more than happy to do so, so happy in fact I went through changing my google password just so I could leave this review!

Car shaking. Seen by 3 different mechanics before Autovets, over a period of five weeks. Waste of time and money. Took it to Autovets on Saturday, problem diagnosed in 10 minutes (damaged drive shaft, sump plug + oil leak). Ordered parts, car fixed in under 2 hours. Total time spent in garage: 20 minutes. Repair: <2 hours. Start to finish: 3 days (including Sunday + bank holiday). These guys don't muck about. Can't endorse them highly enough!!!

We took our Audi A5 in for repairs due to a stretched timing chain. Sam was extremely knowledgable and knew exactly what to do. Not only was it fixed, but it was cleaned and a number of other jobs were completed along side it complementing the work being done. He was also kind enough to apply a discount to the work to make sure it remained within the agreed upon budget. This Garage challenges the stereotype that garages are constantly trying to rip you off.

Fantastic service, Sam took my Mercedes SLK when I phoned in, even though I hadn't booked. A fault within the gearbox was identified, and it was fixed within a few days. Will be going here for servicing and any other work needed from now on. He also. Recommended a good body work chap who I will be using. Nice, polite reliable service. Worth its weight in gold. The guys at Autovets really looked after me when part of my car was deemed unfit to drive! They didn’t just order the most expensive part which would have been very easy, Dan called round multiple garages in the UK and Europe trying to find me the right part at the right price. When he finally found one the waiting time was 3 months! So he continued to call round again and finally got a part sharpish. Dan didn’t charge extra for this and it was evident from the manufacturers receipt that he only charged minimal for fitting. I (a female) trust them completely not to take advantage of my lack of vehicle knowledge. This was the third time I’d used Autovets and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks again!

I turned up at this garage needing help with my car that was nearby with a flat battery. Really great experience using Autovets, my car was struggling to start in the cold and causing me all sorts of problems to get to work etc. Autovets were quick to call back after I enquired and quickly recognised the fault without even seeing the car. Once they got the car, their diagnosis was confirmed and they had it all repaired in a day. The repair in total cost ~£400 which may sound like a lot but I think it was worth it, especially when factoring in the price of parts and that most garages charge a lot for labour as well. My car has been fine since, all in all Happy with the fix and would use Autovets again.

All problems were diagnosed and a phone call was received from Sam informing me exactly of the issues and the costs before any of the work was carried out. I went to these guys as the red oil warning light was coming on on my car. I'm normally quite sceptical with taking my car to mechanics purely because of their stereotypical reputation of ripping people off and past experiences. The guy on the phone here was really professional and sorted my out an appointment. I took my car down a little late but they were very understanding and took my car. I got a call back from them later saying they were unable to find anything wrong with the car and that they didn't want to just replace random parts based on a whim. They also didn't charge me a single penny for looking at my car. I'm not sure but i think they actually cleaned and vacuumed my car as well which i didn't expect at all.

If I could give 6 stars I would. I have been searching for a garage like this since I have been a motorist. They will do all the work from now on - on my personal car and my three works vehicles/vans. Everytime they have done work on my vehicles they have been the most cost effective and efficient. I am not even local to the garage but feel it is worthwhile taking it there knowing I will be looked after everytime.

Our company VW Caddy van has a persistent engine fault which describing on the phone Autovets were familiar with for this model. They made keeping us on the road a priority and provided us with a courtesy vehicle. It was quite an involved job to replace the defective part, but we were back on the road one working day later. The van is running beautifully now and they even cleaned it for us. We had a follow-up call a few days later to make sure we were satisfied, which we are. Based on this service, we have decided to have our company vehicles now maintained by Autovets. 5 Stars.
