We are returning customers, having bought the gingersnap balance bike for our daughter, then moving up to the Skylark. I also have the matching adult bike! All 3 bikes are gorgeous and good quality. Customer service is outstanding- a back wheel got nicked off the Skylark and we had issues trying to source and fit a matching replacement wheel. Bobbin’s couldn’t have been more helpful in helping us to source and replace the beautiful cream-coloured tyre to restore it back to its former glory. Really lovely and personal customer service. Pleased to support a fab small independent business.

I ordered a helmet online which looks great (and like the photos!) and is really good quality. Only downside is I ordered the smaller size based on my head measurement but the S/M is definitely child sized. Would shop again but free returns for smaller items would be great ????

I have spent 300 pounds for a child bike, the bike arrived with some defects. It has been almost 3 months I attempt to rectify this, send video to the company, emails, letters. Nothing. No answer, no care. I live in East London and I chose Bobbin because they are in East London so in case of problems things could be fixed easily. They are as unresponsive and unavailable as if we were on Mars. 3 months, 300 pond, and my daughter hasn't been able to bike once. The worst experience as a customer in my whole life. If they keep ignoring my emails I will have to contact the local authority.

Fantastic team, we had a little issue with some damage that happened in transit and they have sorted everything out with us in about 10 minutes, bought the product based on multiple friends and family recommendations, top quality bike for my daughter, I think we may be buying all our future bikes from them
In 30 odd years of riding bikes you can spot a decent bike from a mile away and the gingersnap balance bike is definitely of high quality

We were looking for a new heritage style bike for my wife and had been looking at various contenders, Pashley, Forme, Pendleton etc, however, the Bobbin Brownie 7 came out on top for great styling, suitability and affordability. On receiving the new bike, after unboxing and building, I took the bike for a test ride and was impressed by the lightness and smoothness of the ride. so impressed in fact that I ordered myself a Daytripper in moody blue ????
Without going into too many details my wife's bike was received with slight damage that had occurred due to poor handling in transit. We contacted Bobbin who were straight on it the same day and I must say their after sales customer service is friendly, understanding and excellent! the best I have ever experienced.

The bike appears as it was made using parts that where never designed to go together. The bike arrived dirty with damage and replacement parts where sent out. DO NOT BUY THE BASKET!!! it has no mounting holes for the company badge, you have to ram the bolts through the basket weave and because the weave isn't horizontal, the badge isn't level. The basket comes with leather looking straps to hold it to the bike but there are no mounting holes for the straps so again you need to fabricate your own. When you mount it, the basket rests on the brake lines and will not sit even remotely straight. Thus is a half arsed excuse of a quality product.

Just ordered one of your helmets... £34.45 straight out of my account yet no confirmation e-mail AND the website went back to the delivery and billing address page to tell me there was an issue with my billing address! Why would I be charged if there was an issue with my billing address? currently waiting for a response. I would like a full refund please. I also saw on your facebook page, another lady who had the exact issue as me. Avoid at all costs, I should've just gone to halfords or decathlon.

I ordered a helmet online after measuring my head to check the size would be right. I paid £4.95 for delivery and was gutted to find out that the helmet didn't even nearly fit me. The front and back fitted but I would put a hand either side of my head with the helmet on. There was no way to adjust it so it didn't fit at all. Added to this, there is no room in this helmet for a pony tail (the model on the website had short hair).
I sent this back and it cost me £8 to do so. This means my postage total for a helmet that was extremely ill-fitting and not fit for purpose was a whopping £12.95. Very annoying as the helmet was really cool.

These guys helmets are simply awesome! So cool and funky. For people going to buy for the first time however make sure you measure your head correctly (see their super helpful guide) otherwise you'll have to order another one

Fantastic services and great quality bike! The pink Gingersnap bike is in high demand but the notifications around stock updates on the website and over email we're brilliant. I managed to get one within the few minutes it was available and less than 24hrs later, it’s at my door... even in these COVID times!

The bike is great quality! I got the folding one, it's not too heavy, easy to assemble and overall I'm very satisfied. The delivery was quick and I had absolutely no issues with the order. Bought a classic trike for my son's 3rd birthday in yellow. Everyone has commented on how beautiful it is! He loves riding it which is great as he never really clicked with a balance bike. It was easy to put together and feels really sturdy, but not too heavy for me to carry when needed. We'll be looking into a bigger bike when he outgrows this one, which hopefully won't be for a while!

Looks good but poorly built. I have to keep tightening the screws on the steering part as it keeps loosening and my son can’t steer the bike because of that. The basket straps poorly designed so the basket broke within a month and other little issues. Overall a bad experience.

I spoke with bobbin over Instagram as to what bike I would need for my height (4ft 11in) they recommended the gingersnap 24in. As this was a junior bike I asked lots of questions and they were more than happy to give me all the information. I ordered the bike on the Thursday late morning and by 2pm the next day it arrived! Very easy to build and is so gorgeous! It also doesn't look like a childs bike it's like a small adults bike! Over the moon with my new bike thank you bobbin bikes x

I wouldn't shop with Bobbin again. Their customer service is shocking and that's without any bike issues, I dread to think what I'd be dealing with if anything did actually go wrong with a bike. They just don't seem to care and stop responding to emails. £450 later I still have no idea what's happening with my order. Just not good enough in this day and age. At least I paid via Amex!

Bought a bike for my daughter for Christmas. Was last minute and past the guaranteed Christmas delivery date but still got it in time.
On unpacking I noticed one of the mud guards was damaged. Notified them and had replacement within a few days.
Excellent no fuss customer service and a top quality product.

I bought the ginger snap in pink for my 5 yr old daughter. Looked very nice in pics on the website but very disappointed with the overall quality of the bike. The wicker basket broke so easily, it just comes apart. The stabilisers are of poor quality. The helmet we bought with it is the same, looks great but doesn’t stay on the head, you can tell profit has been prioritised over quality. Go for it if you want just the looks but if you want it to last then a big no.
* And we use it once a week for about half and hour*.

I'm very happy with the quality of the basket I bought, however it was very difficult to get hold of customer service before and after the purchase and their tone was not very friendly or helpful. I had to pay extra to have the basket fitted in a bike shop, as there's no clarity on the fitting system on the website and the pieces are not very adaptable. It doesn't look pretty, but it did the trick.

Just received a Moonbug 12" for a 3 year old. Looks beautiful, good and sturdy construction, nothing missing in the box.
BUT there was an important flaw concerning the pre-assembly at the factory: strictly ALL the rotating parts involving a bearing came too tight and would hardly move (bottom bracket, front and rear hubs, headset and pedals). For those who don't know what these are, don't worry, there is no safety issue. This means you child will struggle to pedal, the bike will stop downhill even without breaking, it won't coast far on the the flat and the handling will be cumbersome. All that because of unnecessary friction at every stage.
The good news is that thanks to the quality of the design, everything -- except the pedals -- can be adjusted (not like some toy bikes where most of the stuff is sealed). But the bad news is that if you're not a bike geek, you won't likely have the appropriate tools at home (thin spanners, bottom bracket and headset wrenches). I happen to have those, and now the bike rides like a charm.
But it's not normal at this price that most Bobbin Bikes customers should have to visit their local bike shop first thing after unpacking before being able to enjoy a decent ride. And it's no excuse the bikes are constructed in some far-away-cheap-labour country, on the contrary...
