The London Skin and Hair Clinic

I visited The London Skin and Hair Clinic in July this year and met with Dr Martin Wade. He was very friendly, helpful and made time to listen to all my problems and make recommendations. He then also sent me a write-up; detailing all my problems (I took a long list to the consultation!) and what measures I can take against each one. Not only did Dr Wade go well above the scheduled amount of time for the consultation, he also managed to resolve some concerns that I had been experiencing for a number of years. One of these was a shampoo for my Psoriasis which is one of the only things to have ever made a difference, the other was a injection for a keloid scar on my back, which 2 months post-treatment is now completely flat! I have recommended this clinic to quite a number of people and would definately go back myself, without hesitation; the next time I have any skin or hair/scalp concerns.

I have utilised the services of the London Skin and Hair clinic over a number of years, specifically consultations and treatments with Dr Wade and Yasmina Kamli. When you first walk in you are greeted by welcoming and helpful front of house staff, who support what always has been, a wonderful service at the clinic. Both Dr Wade and Yasmina are professional, friendly, and very consultative. They took their time to listen to my concerns and, unlike other practices I have visited, did not make me feel rushed during my consultations. The treatments I received exceeded my expectations and I am very happy with the follow up provided by Dr Wade and Yasmina, this combined with their consultative, friendly and non-rushed approach put me at ease. I couldn’t recommend them and the London Hair and Skin Clinic highly enough.

The doctor was 10mins late to my 20mins appointment for which I paid £200. I have a horrible eczema-like skin condition which the doctor failed to diagnose, he did not even care to find out what it was and what could be causing it. Did not ask about my lifestyle (what foods I eat), and shook me off saying it must be an allergy to some products (any products when I asked to specify) and was going to send me to get allergy tests that would cost me over £600. He barely inspected my skin, and prescribed some kind of immunosuppressant ointment, which when I applied at home made me itch and gave me an even worse rash - one of the side effects is in fact the aggravation of the present condition, and worse case scenario skin cancer. The doctor assured me that babies can use this ointment and that I could even use it on my eyelids, of course he did not inform me about the ointment any further. Overall this felt like a rip off and totally unprofessional. When I wrote an email to complain and asked to be seen again the secretary asked me when we could arrange a phone call, needless to say I never received it.

after many visits to the clinic to see Dr. Martin Wade i can confirm that the service, medical attention to detail, and reassurance i have been given, is very comforting and makes me feel i am in very safe hands of experts in their field. bev meyers

Would definitely recommend! Dr Champan was really knowledgable and treated my problem.

My wife came in to see Dr Mellerio about her persistant acne and was treated well, listened to and given isotretinoin. Her skin is now clear!!

Tried to find out whether clinic provides a certain type of a treatment and was refused to be told without making an appointment and paying the fee.

Couldn't recommend the London Skin and Hair Clinic any higher. I was seen almost immediately on arrival. Staff were very friendly and the doctor i saw was very professional
