Really professional and attentive! I haven't had my hair dyed in over 6 years, and was so nervous to have it done, but Kerrie was amazing, explaining each step, why she did it the way she did, and the results are beautiful! The whole team was so lovely and kind, I'll definitely be returning!

After spending lockdown ‘embracing my curls’ I’d had enough and wanted a complete restyle. A work colleague recommended kinki boutique to me and I wasn’t disappointed, Jason was brilliant. He listened to my ideas and made some suggestions of his own, I absolutely love my new hairstyle, I went for a curly Mohican, and I’m going back to have some colour put in the curls! Would definitely recommend to anybody who’s thinking about a whole new look.

I cannot praise kinki enough! My stylist is Jason and he is an absolute legend! Amazing value considering he is the owner and I have not only never had a bad haircut but I have some of the best hairstyles I have ever had and its all him (literally because I never know what I want when I go in)! I've been going to him for around 2 years and it helps that we get on like a house on fire!

I've been going to Kinki for over 10 years, their staff are friendly and knowledgeable and honestly it feels more like a catch up with friends than an appointment! Kerry has perfectly understood my colour requirements and I trust her implicitly when it comes to making the best decision, she is incredibly knowledgeable and only wants the best for her clients. During these difficult times, I have opted to go from shoulder length hair to a pixie cut (you never know when your next appointment will be at the moment!) Jason cuts my hair beautifully and despite being short, its still very feminine. I love coming here and would highly recommend.

I went to KINKY BOUTIQUE after a botch hair bleach disaster at another - in the loosest possible sense, “salon/shop” - in Norwich City, that really, due to the nature of the “in/out”, no appointment necessary, sit and wait scenario, should have been enough of a reason for me not to have gone there, but I’m an optimist and gave it a try. Needless to say they ruined my hair and left it in bad condition.
HOWEVER, Norma at Kinky, completely understood my hair condition, what I was looking for (a steel grey) and the best way to achieve it and most important to me - in the gentlest way possible for my hair. She took the time to explain the methods she was using and more importantly “why”. She really knows her colour!! Mad technical skills! After, she told me how to care for it and what I can do to accentuate it in the future. Really couldn’t have asked for a better experience and result.
I will be returning to see Norma again for more fabulous hair! Thank you Norma <3

It was my first time visiting this salon. I was apprehensive at first, because I've had a series of bad hair cuts and, in general, it's always a little unnerving going to a new place and putting your faith in new people.
I won't lie, it was a bit of a rocky start...but, ultimately, I came away very, VERY happy.
As a girl with a shorter hairstyle, I tend to be rather anxious about having my hair cut by hairdressers who might lack barber experience, as they tend not to use techniques - such as clipper over comb - which create a smoother finish. Similarly, I have always been reluctant to approach barbers as well, for, whilst they always deliver a seamless cut, it often lacks that integral, feminine edge, and I always go away looking more boyish. However, the hair cut I received here was exceptional - the ideal combination. And, what's more, the clippers were never even used, not once - all scissors. Yet, just by running my hands through the back, I can feel how even the layers are and how perfectly it's been blended. My hair is now short and tidy, but also soft, textured and beautiful. It suits my natural hair type and compliments my face shape.
I'm off to university now, but I'll be sure to book in with JASON, the senior stylist and business owner, the second I get back.

Had a great experience here today. My hair had stripy highlights and was damaged and my appointment was to fix the colour. I got an appointment really quickly considering I was only in Norwich for 4 days. Everyone was very friendly and talented, always talking you through what they’re doing. Managed to get appointment on same day to complete a difficult request (mohawk on very curly hair). Very accommodating, Jason did a perfect cut, understanding precisely what I wanted and adapting it to my physical appearance (long skinny head so volume needed on the sides!). Could tell he was enjoying being creative and this made me feel fabulous! Literally could tell he adores cutting hair, particularly more creative styles. I feel younger and a whole lot trendier. Absolutely recommend, will repeat.

Amazing cut and colour from Kelly. Literally had given up on my hair and just thought it was going to carry on be plain and boring but Kelly has given my hair new life. I am writing this review on behalf of my friend. She had her hair cut appointment yesterday and is devastated with the style of cut she has received. She feels like she now looks like a boy that her hair is so short. The hair stylist who served her was already 20 mins late and when they sat down to 'discuss' the style she wanted, they didn't leave her with much of a choice. She was told it would match her hair colour and get rid of her dead ends. She felt she wasn't left with much of a choice as they had already started to cut her hair! She absolutely hates it that she is now considering hair extensions else where. She is gutted as she has been several times here previously and she liked and was happy the colour appointments she received and the previous cut appointments. However after this she is reluctant to return. Its such a shame and a disappointment, and i feel absolutely gutted for her. She is worried about leaving a review which is why i am leaving one for her.

I had a Extraordinary lady “Norma” do my hair, I can honestly say I will not be going anywhere elc for my hair. Norma transformed my hair and gave me a completely different look and I couldn’t be more happier!

Had highlights and a cut with Kerry yesterday and am so, so pleased. Kerry was brilliant and explained everything in detail. I have very fine and over processed hair and was worried how the colour would turn out but am really pleased with it. Kerry did a fantastic job and the cut was great too!! The atmosphere in the salon was friendly and relaxed. I can’t recommend them enough and will definitely be going back on a regular basis. Thank you Kerry, you are a miracle worker.
