Great service and everything made very clear and easy for the customer. I exchanged on my house with 5 days notice to completion and was able to hire a van within 10 mins of being on the phone.
The van was clean and a decent runner so no complaints at all. The thing that really makes Choice stand out from the rest is the price though. I hired a Ford Transit for 3 days for only £136 all in (excluding refundable deposit)...the same "deal" at Enterprise was quoted at over £400!
Will definitely be returning again in the future.

Was due to pick up the van at 8.30 but things were so ill prepared I had to wait until gone 9am. On top of that the hundred pound deposit still hasn’t been paid back after a week. It’s driving me nuts. Won’t be using again that’s for sure.

Really depends what you are after. The vans from here are much much cheaper than anywhere else.
You get what you pay for.
The vans have dents in them, aren't particularly clean but are perfectly serviceable for a house move our picking up a bulky eBay item.
I wouldn't recommend them if your looking for something more professional.
Fuel is also normally right on the limit, luckily there is a Shell fuel station just round the corner.

Quick convenient last min car hire, tho the car was a bit dirty on outside (windows etc). Expected it to be a bit cleaner as they say you get charged if they have to clean excessive dirt. Reasonable enough prices and friendly enough service.

**DO NOT HIRE!!!**
You would think your saving a few quid, but trust me your not!
Shame I have to give one star as it's undeserved. My partner and I rented a van as ours is in for repairs and have had the following problems:
**Immediate problems:**(over the two vans we have been provided, which we were uninformed about)
- Dirty smelly van inside and out (one covered in dog hairs)
- loads of damage to vehicle (had to use a 'special technique' to open the side door due to one of the large dents that wasn't fixed
- broken door handle
-Wheel wobble when driving
-broken aux cable
- 0!!! Engine coolant
**Secondary problems **(obviously not informed about)
-Engine failure in first van we rented=
This then meant WE had to get the van and us delivered back to the hove branch to collect a replacement (about 2 hours away from us)
- with a promise of a full tank as compensation, that I was waiting around for over half an hour to receive as a driver was meant to be coming from a different branch with fuel and never showed.
After informing them I am now late and they had time to sort this before.
- Engine failure in replacement van=
Told them returning was not an option as we simply don't have the time nor should we have to, and we think a very fair outcome is a free weeks rental.
THE DIRECTOR will only provide one days van hire free... and refuses to speak to us.
DO NOT HIRE! Might think your saving a few quid, but trust me your not!

Have hired from choice for years now, many many times both cars and vans, even trucks....staff do what they can on busy mornings, everyone comes to the office at 0830hrs and expect to be seen immediately. I have learnt to set up my hire the day before with all the details they need, and when I collect it doesn’t take as long, overall, still worth using over other expensive companies....if you can pre arrange it’s better, not everone can though..same ole story, more staff, more cost, higher car and van hire, back to expensive hire again.....

Understaffed, stressed staff. Expensive, short hours for your money, no option to drop off after hours without a charge.
Edit: after emailing a complaint, we were quickly apologised to and compensated for the service.
