Spitalfields Market is a wonderful treasure trove of trinkets, clothes and food from around the world. Family love to come to look around and buy unique pieces and then grab a bite to eat before travelling back home. Recommend a visit if you've never been here before...

One of the best markets I've been in. Loads of options to grab a quick bite or coffee to go, or places to sit (also outdoor) and enjoy a longer time. Great market stands for local products. Very clean.

One of my favourite spots in London. A good mix of independent shops and high street chains. Lots of unique food stalls. The vintage market on a Thursday is always one of my favourites.

A lot of people come on the weekends. It is also a covered market! Price of things: Medium to High Cleanliness: Quite Clean Toilets: Open to public & relatively clean Types of shops: Fashion, coffee, restaurants, home, fitness

Great place to call in winter to get you out of the weather. Some of the stalls are the usual tourist stuff but there are some interesting items for sale including ethically sourced products.

I remember Spitalfields Market from years ago when on a Thursday you could have a good nose around the market and it was a good market. Now it's very condensed in among eateries and it does not seem to work much any more. I know a lot of the dealers from old decided to give it up which is a shame because it has changed but there again it is change which some say we need unfortunately nothing can stay the same, but is it better?

Amazing apart from foods only ever eaten prior when abroad in Australia, Asia or Europe. Diverse retailers selling handcrafted goods such as hats, coats handbags.. ...the list goes to a superb vintage frames stall. Also houses my favourite opticians for style Bailey Nelson

A classic independent market with lots of fashion available however loud blaring music and lack of social distancing (especially weekends) loses points

First time back post lockdown and it was good, quite a few stalls (food and retail) open plus places to sit set up with social distancing in mind, not too busy while we were there. 10 bells is open nearby so quite a few people grabbing a beer, I'm assy it will be busier on the weekend

I recommend to come here early in the morning, grab a cup of coffee, sit down and spend a thought, while in the background traders slowly set up their stalls. Great way to grab some energy for an upcoming day.

The antiques market on Thursday used to be one of my favorites but current (American) management ruined it a few years ago with silly new 'designer' stalls and more food. They treated the old antiques dealers horribly and kicked most of them out. Avoid like the plague. There are much better places to visit in London. It makes me sad to go there now.

Awesome because there aren't so many people during these times, so it's spacious and relaxing. However, horrible as no public toilets are open.

A really good venue that puts on a wide variety of events. We normally go to the London Brewers Craft Beer & Vinyl event which is excellent. My only concern is the last time I visited it looked as though they have installed CCTV Cameras in the toilets! Very Bizarre!!!

I love it. I ate most of my meals there. The market allows you to have a taste of several dishes from all over the world. From Chinese to Turkish, Mexican to Indian and so many more. The shops surrounding the food area are also really nice to browse and purchase a few items from!

Good selection of food stalls. Frankly do not care too much for the market stalls as most are just imported mass produced goods , with the exception of some smaller designers. There are many other markets within Shoreditch.

Super market great place to meet, eat and shop. All the vendors were very easy going and friendly. Dumplings the best I ever tasted. Bought lovely red linen dress from Vaughan at Marvin Browne, super cool guys with lovely classic clothes. Great vibe throughout the market. YOU Must go visit when in London.

One of London's best market. It's foodie heaven with loads of food stalls set up here offering mouth-watering treats from Chinese dumplings to American BBQ and burgers. On the other side, independent sellers tempt you with unique gifts to take home from vintage hats and printed shirts. This is a place you're likely to find something unique present for yourself. On the side, chic boutique stores add another dimension to the market. Highly recommend a visit. Best to come on weekends when the market is at it's most active. If you fancy, Brick Lane is only a few minutes walk away too so there's plenty to do around the area.
