Bupa Dental Care Derby Raynesway

I have been going there since 2016 and the prices go up every time I go. They charged me £93 today just for a check up and hand clean which included £7 for PPE. I am now looking for anotherdentist.

My advice go elsewhere! I had a private exam with dr. Ravi and the duration of the exam was 2 mins, but it cost me £57. The dentist was more interested watch TV ( the crown on Netflix) then my teeth . Then I was told I need two fillings and dentist did not explain anything about how much it will cost . He just told me to go on reception. When I went to the receptionist I have been told that I need to pay £96.20 deposit and then she booked me an appointment. On the day of my appointment 5 mins before my app I did call receptionist asking for help because I did struggling to find the practice. However the receptionist told me that I would not be able to come on time snd she needs to rebook my appointment. After she did that she told me that she will charge £30 penalty charge.

I contacted in hope somone would pick the phone up. It was an emergency... My 5 year old son had been up all night screaming in pain and his face was red hot to touch and he was in agony and hadnt eaten . We had tried 111 who gave us 2 contact numbers to ring both were shut we had tried Coleman health center again shut rang our own dentist shut... Thank god a lady picked up the phone my husband went onto explain what was going on and that we couldt get any help and didnt no what to do, the lady was so so helpful and phoned her clinical dentist named Rhiannon.. Rhiannan then actually came into the practice just to call us back and give us some advice and a prescription... she even went out her was to take the prescription over to the boots pharmacy for us and rang us back to tell us it was there and we could collect. This practice is not even our normal dentist yet they went above and beyond to help us in these current circumstances. I carnt thank you guys enough for your help and support. Once we recover from this virus I will make sure I come in and thankyou all personally... Thanks Hayley xxx

My wife is/was a patient at this dentist, and has asked me to post her thoughts. Admittedly she saw the same dentist every time but she now feels the place has lost it’s welcoming, homely and settling feeling since BUPA took over. The place has been redecorated to virtually pure white, so cold and clinical. Makes you think you’ve come for a serious prognosis in a hospital for something other than your teeth. On the tv’s you are now pounded with BUPA propaganda all the time, instead of the the lighter programmes there used to be on to watch. Gone are the pictures that made the place look welcoming. And why black the window up. This is definitely a corporate job done here and all the the pleasantries she used to like about this practice are gone. She has also heard that there are now targets to be met. Get more patience through per hour? Only one person suffers under those conditions.... the patient! How do you ruin a perfectly good practice........let BUPA take it over and give it a charisma bye pass. Going elsewhere.

I cannot praise Peter at Raynesway Dental practice enough. Peter was kind enough to take me on halfway through some orthodontic work I was having done. I found him to be extremely kind & honest and he has helped me achieve the best results possible in my situation. All the staff are very friendly and always make you welcome. I would highly recommend Peter and his team, and cannot Thank him enough for what he has done for me. I wish I had been to Peter from the offset but luckily he was recommended to me when I needed a fully qualified and highly specialized orthodontist. No matter what age you are Peter is definitely the best person to see you through the treatment. Many, many thanks

I've recently had my braces off and never expected my teeth to be this straight after such a short amount of time. All of the staff were pleasant and I always got the appointments to suit around my job. The aftercare was amazing and I would recommend Raynesway Dental Practice to anyone who was considering orthodontic treatment. I would like to say a special thanks to Peter and Emma who always made me feel comfortable.

Peter and the team were fantastic in changing my smile! They were honest in what they could do for me and the cost was explained thoroughly in the initial consultation. Each timed I visited to have my braces tweaked, I always felt relaxed and the team always explained what the next movements for me teeth were. There was never any problem getting an emergency appointment when a couple of my brackets came loose. I would thoroughly recommend Raynesway Dental Practice for anyone looking to have braces, in particular as an adult, as the smile they have given me really has given me so much confidence. The whole team at Raynesway Dental are friendly, professional and just great! From my very first and free assessment appointment to the last I felt that everyone on the team had my best interest at heart. I found it easy to make or change appointments or on one occasion get advice over the phone. I never waited longer than 10 minutes before I was called in and often they were bang on time. Treatment options and progress were explained to me in an easy to understand way and I felt always able to ask for more information if I felt I needed to. Took my daughter for brace assessment apparently she doesn’t qualify for braces on nhs . but there very quick to tell you about paying privately. Waited 12 months for that appointment. surly dentist wouldn’t of referred my daughter if she didn’t need them ????

I've been ringing them since 8am it's now 8.31am to get a voice message that tells me to ring back when they open at 8am ????????
