West Street Orthodontic Practice

Booking is about six months before you could be seen, we had a booking at last and we cancelled everything. Came to this clinic to find out it is delayed by one hour, they said they sent an e-mail so we checked our e-mail, none received. I went back to the reception and requested to update the e-mail, that time, they said it was sent via text message, we did not received it as well, manager came and she said it was sent by a “third party” company. I asked what time the system was down and they said it was two weeks ago!!!! The lady then said that "normally" the text message are being sent two days before and it was being done by a THIRD PARTY company. So, i asked about this 'third party company', i then queried about the data privacy of the clients, we don't remember signing anything. From e-mail to text and later excuses, why they cannot just be honest? Later, a lady approached and discussed the matter and promised that she will refer the matter to the manager on duty and they will come back to me. Nobody called.They seemed to think that I am an idiot or dumb not to know about computer technology that whatever you feed in, it comes out, if they have the correct number and e-mail then most likely the communication will be received and to change the means of communication from sending an e-mail and then sending a text message, undoubtedly, it is better to tell the truth rather than create a web of lies. Extremely dis-appointed. It pains me when people doesn’t tell he truth, is it hard to be honest? I asked two more patients who arrived and they said that they did not receive any text or email about the system being down, we came ahead of them and they had been seen ahead of us. How would you feel about this when the people you trust were inconsistent?

What a First Class service!! - My then 13 year old daughter, 15 months ago, was referred to West Street Orthodontists due to overlaps of her teeth in a small mouth. Part of her brace early on would sometimes pop out and an emergency appointment to put it back was never too much trouble. From all receptionists to dental nurses and the orthodontists themselves we are so grateful to you all for your professionalism and care. Her teeth are now absolutely STUNNING. She has never been happier and can flourish as a young 14 year old with a smile to die for. I highly recommend West Street Orthodontists to anyone needing dental assistance. Daughter had really messed up teeth before going to WSOP. Had 5 teeth out in hospital then train tracks for 21 months (ages 12 to 14). Retainer to leave with. Practice was always professional and progress was seen almost immediately. Daughter now has perfect smile. Very pleased. Would recommend.

I saw them in relation to my sleep apnea. A very friendly and professional team in the form of Dr Young and Rachel; and in a clean and modern environment. I felt the advice was clear, to the point and positive which is exactly what I needed. I now look forward to next steps in resolving the issue. I would recommend West Street Orthodontists for those reasons!

Worst experience, a complete joke and lack of customer care. I was messed around by at least 4 different orthodontists all recommending different treatments and saying almost the complete opposite of each other. Almost all appointments were not actually with the orthodontists but the assistants/technicians, who were usually very lovely however they are not who you needed to see. The time appointments were always running late by a good 20/30 mins. Ridiculous cost for the service offered and now they are refusing to help sort out a wire that they said would "help keep my teeth straight" that is now causing problems because it is longer then a year since I had the treatment done.

I'm very happy with the result and I wish i'd had the treatment earlier. Everyone has been very kind and helpful. Particular thanks to the ladies on reception x

Initially I had different orthodontists but has been better continuity wise since Theo joined. I'm satisfied & would recommend.

My experience was better than I had expected. The team were welcoming, helpful and supportive.

Over priced, terrible customer service, do not use, find a better orthodontist. Just for reference- I tried contacting the email below and there was no answer. I tried to call and they said they would get back to me but never did.

Awful practise. Time wasters. On my second attempt to get the same procedure done, the first two Orthodontists left then I tried this whole thin again... I made an appointment weeks in advance to start the procedure that I was already uncomfortable with. West Street's procedures manager assured me all would be ok and they had now a full time Orthodontist who was great. Taking that at face value they then proceeded to cancel the next two appointment as the Orthodontist was now working part time and then the other Orthodontist was ill. When I finally got to see the Orthodontist they were 45 minutes late! I had taken time off work for this appointment and they ignore the fact that everyone else is busy. The Orthodontist apologised and then said I needed to see a specialist surgeon along with them at the same appointment. SIX months later I was still waiting for that very appointment not for the surgeon who's appointment availability was readily available from his office but from the Orthodontist at West Street! The excuses from their reception ranged from the appointments getting lost in the system to "we don't know what's happened". At that point I gave up and left the practise as a customer. Weeks later I received a phone call from a gentleman executive who was not based there who asked me why I had left and had it anything to do with the staff.

It's always been easy to get appointments and all of the staff have been brilliant.

Chidrens Care Two appointments two different Dentists, both of whom have left the practice now - Children's' braces broken and nobody will take a call or try and resolve the problem. How thoroughly unprofessional!

My braces have been amazing and good, friendly and helpful service from all the staff. ????
