Bought a bulb for my car staff showed fair knowledge and offered advice on which bulb to buy. They pushed the fitting service which I agreed to amazed when they charged £8.00 to fit a bulb. Would not use this service again as it was an easy fit.

I bought a new bicycle from Halfords Eastbourne. While riding it three days later the handlebars fell down as I was on a busy main road. Luckily no injury but could have been fatal. The boys who sold and checked the bike to me were young, non interested and obviously inexperienced. On returning the bike I received no apology for there mistake. Again the staff seemed uninterested, rude and I needed to call management. Very unhappy with the service provided and the unsafeness from Halfords Eastbourne.

Had very bad experience with Halfords:
Did buy TomTom 520 for £174.99 for 12 months 0% interest.Gave them all my bank details to set up direct debit. But...
They use third party company .The charge me for late payment £12 extra.....!!!! What?! Call to Halfords and what they could say :" It is my responsibility!".
You buy a product from them and it's not they responsibility .

It is so sad to experience such bad customer service at this store, bought items and the young till sales assistant had no experience on customer service, as if we were never there. No politeness, gratitude, din't even ask if we wanted a bag, as we bought many items, she just left it in front of us, not considering how we will carry it. Until we pointed out for a bag, and even then just swang it on the dest, for us to put the items in! It just does not feel good to go there again. (I should have asked for my money back and walked out) Why 'HALFORDS' you don't train your staff to be more customer focused, attitude, politeness, A SMILE, for Gods sake!! Its just not good enough! I have travelled all over the world and sales people in shops are 100 times better than UK. They serve you as if you are KING..
