Do not go to halfords if you want a bike fixed.
They will not fix your bike, but instead, replace as many expensive parts as they possibly can, and not even test to see if it works after 'fixing' it.
The wait time is also ridiculous, at least a month to get a bike that isn't even fixed. HALFORDS IS A SCAM

Dodgy battery on my Corsa so bowled into Halfords Eastbourne. Served by cheerful and knowledgeable staff. bit of a wait as they were busy but looked around and bought a couple of things de-icer, car cleaner.Swift test showed battery was a bit dodgy but no pressure to replace ....given some useful info by chap who eventually fitted the new battery I decided on. Again given wide choice.... type,reliability and price. Fitted in a jiffy more sensible advice on aftercare was given. went away feeling relieved and secure Corsa would start next time!

As a regular visitor to Halfords Eastbourne I can honestly say I always tend to find any product that I require and the staff there re always on hand with any queries I might have and sort them straight away and with a smile which you cannot say in all places.

Nice to be able to enter a Halfords again after such a long time. Sadly all the gannets got to the bikes before I could browse, but least managed to get wiper blades for the car still. Staff friendly.

Bought a bike from upstairs, rode it for a couple weeks and the wheels started falling apart (loose spokes) Took it back and complained, the woman I dealt with insisted it was my fault from riding it too rough and 'using it to do stunts'.
I'm an overweight bald guy in my 30s who commutes to work by bike. I do not 'do stunts'.
Problem kept persisting every 3 weeks or so, kept taking it back and they would fix it and keep telling me 'not to jump off curbs' and 'don't stunt it'.
Finally I took it to the independent bike shop round the corner and got some new wheels. I have since NEVER had a problem with my wheels.
Tl.dr; Don't let them service your bicycle.

Good customer service skills, happy ???? with a smile.
With where I originally purchased my cycle would optain there customer service skills, which is, Phoenix cycles seaside road Eastbourne awfull exsperience.

Very helpful staff but if you are looking to purchase a bike you have to wait for another 14days and they only have bike's on display (they are not for sale) team have advised that even if I ordered online this will be a 14 day wait at the moment. Please do check with store, website or Customer service before you place an order. I am glad that they informed me before I have placed an order. As I need the bike in few days.
