I was served by a very friendly, helpful & efficient Carl and Jake who assessed and repaired my bicycle, the repairs to which I am very pleased with. Everyone in the store and on the phone are very polite, patient and courteous. Great job guys & gals and thank you ????????????

Very hectic in the bicycle area, clearly understaffed, seems strange that there's not a designated area to drop your bicycle off, lots bikes just leaning against things.

My bike was in there for a gear service. There was no problems with the bike when it was dropped off. But on picking it up tgere was more problems. The gears were not sorted out because they said it need new chain and cassette because they were both worn but this is not true became I have pics of the parts not worn and Woking ok. They then said it would cost £85.00 to fix when it should have only cost £20 for the gear service. Would never take my bike back again. The kids that worked there do not have a clue what’s going on. Next time I will use a real bike shop

Took my bike for a free health check..Seen to straight away,no waiting. Assistant carried my bike up and down the stairs to the bicycle department for me. He confirmed the problem I knew I was having,and booked it it for the repair. I asked for new tyres but he honestly told me I didn't need them. So I left the store feeling happy that I hadn't been ripped off.

Went to local store to collect screenwash ordered on-line. Both the members of staff i spoke to were very pleasant, polite and helpful.
If only all shop staff could be like that. A credit to Halfords.
Further visit to store for collection of on-line order. Got home and realised I had been given wrong item. Returned next day. Staff were most apologetic and replaced item immediately. Staff were inviting and friendly and no delays experienced.

Needed a spare battery for my Assist 20" Ebike to allow me to exercise further distance for my replacement knee. I telephoned Halfords at their Eastbourne store and spoke to Tom in the cycle department. I found him to be very polite and knowledgeable. I ordered the battery and 2 days later I received a phone call from him he told me the battery had arrived at store. I collected it the next day and again was served by Tom. I was absolutely amazed to find the battery fitted my bike and had twice the electrical capacity of my existing battery meaning that it will allow me to travel far further than anticipated. Thank you Halfords, I have no hesitation in recommending this store for its store availability, staff knowledge, politeness and in our current state their Covid19 awareness
