I booked an eye test within my local Tesco branch as I don’t have much free time. I attended the eye test and it was conducted promptly. When I was told that my distance view had deteriorated I was surprised as my varifocal glasses has near 0 at the top and only became stronger lower. Either way I was persuaded that this was correct.
The glasses were ordered and in two weeks the glasses delivered. The close vision was fine however the top/distance far to powerful. I was advised that a new eye test was needed. This was not possible to do that day. Basically to start the process again. No mention of the waste of my time and no offer made to help ease the situation. Basically a complete waste of my valuable time. I opted to take the refund off all. I will not be back.

visited the store to choose some frames. The lady with the foreign accent was extremely helpful. She gave me advise on the frames and even told me which ones suited me more than others. She couldnt have done more and out of her way to get me the best deal for the frames. Would definitely recommend vision express, they are always super helpful and polite.

Booking system , pricing, professional staff , eye test and general experience was absolutely excellent. Unfortunately this has been let down by a glasses frame manufacturing malfunction. After receiving my pair of glasses the frame simply detached at the joint of the arm., and was deemed not repairable. This leaves me with zero confidence about the quality of the frame. The staff ordered a replacement but quoted 2 weeks leaving me without a useable pair which I need for driving. It's been a week now and have ordered a second cheap online pair elsewhere hoping they will arrive more quickly! I advise anyone to order 2 pairs initially......

Two months ago I had an eye test and I felt it was a thorough test. However, after ordering glasses to match the prescription they were no good at all. The prescription was very different from any previous prescription from specsavers and in the end proved to be hopeless. I actually wonder now whether I was given the correct one back. I guess other areas of the test i.e. the health of the eye, were done so hopefully not a complete waste of time.

Save your self the time and stress go to Specsavers, better service and cheaper there.
Been messed about way to many times here.
They cancelled my appointment in the morning then denied I even made the appointment even though I book three weeks ago for an eye test and contact lense. Got the text to prove it.
In the end they only gave me an eye test when I really needed the contact one instead but they didn’t have time for it.
Waste of money and time. Waited 3 weeks for that appointment. So didn’t buy any more contact lenses as I knew I would get my new prescription that day. Obviously didn’t so now don’t have any lenses at all.
Would’ve had to wait another 3 weeks for the contact one.
Called Specsavers got one the following day.
Can clearly see who the better company is. Won’t be here again.
