Extremely satisfied! I was seen by 4 amazing people when I went to have my eyes tested. After booking online I mixed the dates and I showed up at the shop 1 week before, and the first attendant, a very busy yet really friendly girl was helpful and managed to fit me in a cancellation that happened. The second attendant appeared to take the pictures of the eye and measure its pressure, and I was impressed in how he would describe what to expect. They apologised in advance for the amount of people and processes and said there might be a 10 min delay to be tested in the office (again, for someone that appeared 1 week early). 10 min later the eye doctor took me to his office and tested the eyes. He was extremely patient in explaining that sometimes people with laser surgeries might experience a slight increase in the short sight again - and said it was actually positive that in few years time it would be beneficial for not needing the use for computers. The last one that helped me was a ginger-bearded guy that would clean before and after I wold touch the glasses very patiently.
I do not know who the manager of that shop is, but he/she is doing a great job from end to end, so well done to all of you :)

Have to call to book a slot to attend (due to COVID), but got the service and time needed to choose glasses safely, had eye test a couple weeks before which was also well executed with no unnecessary waiting. Recommended.

Few appointments for working people, and no help to book elsewhere after trip to store. Stopping deliveries to patients despite not providing appointments all summer, fair enough due to covid, but dont penalise working customers. Unhelpful.

Went for a routine eye test today. The customer service exceeded my expectations. I was greeted in a polite and friendly manner and booked in and seen immediately. I had a thorough examination by an optometrist who I felt took my concerns seriously. Working in a similar job myself I really appreciate a good experience like this. Would highly recommend.

After the two week wait for my glasses, I turned up at my given time of 9am, only to be told that they were not ready, and come back in 30mins. Once back, I was given 1 pair, I asked where the second, more important varifocals were. In transit, I was told, then told they were at the factory/depot. I was told that they would be sent by courier to me, when? I asked, we dont know was the reply. I had travelled 40 miles for that appointment, and they didn't keep the scheduled time, and supplied have the goods. I paid £377, and asked for a refund. Terrible service.

I lost my glasses when I was travelling in Poland, I made an emergency appointment because I need to fly long haul again to hk, i explained to the staffs about my urgent situations, At first they were honest, they said they might not be able to help me because of the short time, usually takes about 2 weeks. But they will try their best and put up an urgent request. They manage to get my glasses done in 2 days, I was thrilled and very happy with the state of my glasses . Thank you very much the sweet, helpful george street hove team. You guys are amazing!

Always good. Friendly staff. Good selection of frames. Sometimes it gets busy but they're are plenty of staff so even then you're not waiting long. Thorough eye tests as expected and good customer service. Flat disabled access and they will test in a downstairs room if you need it

I've never been into such a busy Specsavers but it sure was busy the day I had my appointment. Was called right on my appointment time and looked after by a very polite young man who took me through the tests. Once completed and all explained I was handed over to the optician who did further testing. As suspected I needed new glasses so went and picked frame. Then the lovely Liz told me I was getting varifocals which she explained, perhaps the optician should have done this. Anyway all good and new glasses arriving in a week. Great pleasant service. Always use Specsavers

I was served by a very courteous and professional gentleman by the name of Charles when I wanted to buy prescription sunglasses. His customer service was excellent. I returned to the store two weeks later to be served by an equally helpful young lady, Ellie I think was her name. It’s nice to get really good customer service which is sadly hard to find these days.

Have been with Specsavers for long time but have gradually become more & more unhappy with company. I recently arrived on time for yearly contact lens check and waited nearly 15 minutes to be seen. No apology, optometrist ok but kept on repeatedly trying to upsell products to me even though I made it abundantly clear I wasn’t interested. I finally had to be very assertive with him. The check took less than 15 minutes and twice during this brief exam another Specsavers colleague interrupted the test on at least two occasions. The test was the shortest I’ve ever had and the least thorough by a long way. I stopped getting my lenses from Specsavers over a year ago because the delivery was so rubbish, mistakes kept happening and the customer service was appalling. My new provider is reliable, offer great service and is cheaper. Time to leave and find another optician.

Reasonable price, I always go there, staff are friendly in general, but today I went there stood in the queue and when it come to my turn to get in, so as I was just about to walk through the door, a lady appeared from behind the front door and very rudely ask me that why am I walking in, and I said one person came out and I am going in, she was like you have to wait till I ask you, she was very bossy and extremely rude to me, as she was hiding behind door, but she should not hide, she should stand somewhere visible that people could see her, furthermore SHE MUST LEARN HOW TO SPEAK TO CUSTOMERS FIRST, REALLY DISAPPOINTED, I feel very sorry for the company, AND I AM SURE THAT SHE WAS THE MANAGER, EXTREMELY RUDE...
