Plumb London fixed our under floor heating system - they were fantastic. I rang them in the morning and the engineer turned up that afternoon and had managed to fix it within 45 minutes. They're great on email and phone - excellent company, will use again!

What a terrible experience.
The engineer they sent arrived an hour early, then refused to wait until I could get hold of the tenant so they charged a cancellation fee- this is apparently going to be refunded but a week later it has not.
They duly went out that afternoon ( another fee)
They actually claimed they had said this time all along until I challenged them to listen to the calls ( of which I also have a recording)
The engineer proclaimed all the heaters to be broken. I did not trust him. The tenant said he just poked about. Unknown to this company, yours truly did an apprenticeship as a sparky. So I duly went round ( the reason I didn't go in the first place, is because I'm disabled via a lorry hitting me at 70mph and so I'm not fit to work on the tools) 3 of the 4 radiators are fine. It was just the programming only one needs replacement.
This company is quick to take your money but not actually any good at the job or customer services. The people I've spoken to have been utterly unconcerned, pretend to be mangers, and do not do what they say they will. They change times without notifying relevent people and lie about it.
I today told them that if they don't refund the charges within 14 days, we will take legal action to have our money refunded in full.

The guys who came to carry out the work were courteous, efficient and concerned with making sure nothing had been overlooked. No there was no rush to get a “quick fix”, but also no dragging their feet to get extra billable time. Overall, I was happy with the service and would be happy to recommend.

Plumb London undertook a total Upgrade of our water system and heating, replacing old tanks, boilers and radiators with a cleaner modern electronically controlled system. Yes there were problems along the way but these were efficiently resolved. Service was prompt and convivial, the office was responsive and deployed staff efficiently and the technical staff and engineers were skilled, tidy and persistent. We're very pleased with the result.

**AVOID AT ALL COSTS** Charged me almost £400 for just over an hour's work and a £57 part. I contacted Plumb London in March 2021 to come and fix a shower component. The first visit they came for 15 minutes to diagnose the problem and we received an invoice for £144!!! When I called up to query this amount they told me not to worry as it was the minimum amount they could bill me for and that the total time taken would be "taken into account" in the final bill. Before the second visit they called up with another quote for £249 which we accepted, assuming this to be the final total bill. After a three week delay (having cold showers every day) they came and replaced the broken part in a 40 minute visit (engineer was very good albeit), but had charged us for both amounts - so £393 overall!!! In total they were here for 1 hour 15 minutes, and the part they replaced I found online for £57. They were not at all clear about the total amount we were being charged and I later discover they add a 30% surcharge on the parts they buy from their suspiciously expensive supplier. NEVER AGAIN WILL I MAKE THE MISTAKE OF GOING WITH ONE OF THESE COMPANIES. JUST TERRIBLE.

Matt arrived on time and very quickly and efficiently discovered where the leak came from (we had been unable to find the source). He then went out to buy what he needed, came back, fixed it and tested to make sure it was good. It was!
I thoroughly recommend PlumbLondon and will use them again should the need arise.

We've used these guys a few times. They are able to get out quickly and are reliable. They're possibly not the cheapest around, but I'm not sure you want to go cheap when you're dealing with boiler repairs! The fact that I've used them a few times probably tells you all you need to know. The people on the phones are lovely, helpful and responsive. The people who come out are friendly and know their stuff. They also seem to really care about their work and workmanship. We've had Brett and Dave out and they were both great.

I needed a first fix of hot/cold/drainage done in two bathrooms. Plumb London contacted me via an add on RatedPeople and sent Harry round to quote (seemed very knowledgeable and thorough). He said the quote would be sent through by their admin team.
I never got any info through from them, two phonecalls over two weeks, spoke to the man Jack who was meant to do it and each time he said he'd email me that day but didn't and still hasn't.
I am sure they're very busy but would have appreciated being told either - this will take x weeks or sorry we can't do this right now - so I didn't have to spend time chasing up.

What a great service. I called at very short notice and had a plumber arrived within 2 hours of my phone call. The plumber was great very friendly and talked me through what he was doing. The charge was very reasonable and less than expected. I was extremely stressed when Dave arrived but he calmed me down and reassured me that the leak could be fixed very quickly. Everything was sorted in less than an hour. From the initial phone I made to Plum London to a plumber turning up, it was stress free and I will definitely be using them in the future for my yearly boiler checks and maintain. Good service and very professional. Although the boiler repairman arrived quite late on the first call out but it didn't matter too much as I was home all day and the customer service team did call me with updates throughout the afternoon. The engineer identified the issue with my boiler really quickly, sourced the part and returned the following week to repair in in a few hours, he was really efficient, quick and super professional. Quite expensive but worth it to get the boiler fixed quickly.

excellent time wasters to ensure they overcharge you .
they were not able to locate the leak but happy to quote us thousands of pounds to tear down most of the bathroom.
They broke the bathtub by forcefully removing the bath panel.
After their visit I got a local qualified plumber to the job to fix the leak for less then a hundred quid which was less then they charge me on time alone.
gave them one star as i did get a full refund of the time they charged me, yet, nothing for the bathtub which their plumber broke.

Very dishonest and fraudulent company. Booked for: 1). leak 2). Shower not draining repairs. Engineer - Oliver arived 02/07/2020. Repaired the leak, but by then the company charged my card £84.00 (though it was agreed fee was to be £70.00). Then Oliver took foto of my shower pump and promised to come back and do the shower. No one turned up. On 6/7/2020, I rang my bank and to my dismay, the company had debited my card for a further £148+ on the same day 6/07/2020, without my knowledge or further work being undertaken. I rang the company they requested l make a complaint when I receive an invoice. I feel my vulnerability an ailment is cause for their fraud. Never use this company if at all don't give them your card no.

I'm not very impressed. First, the guy was late (1pm for an 8-12 window). But at least the office did let me know, so that's something.
And the guy who came was nice enough. No issue with him at all.
But he couldn't get the job done. And the equipment he needed was booked up for the next week. If they'd told me this was a possibility when I booked, I would have just called someone else. Instead, I've had to pay these guys over £200 to not fix the problem, plus spend most of my day waiting for them, and ended up having to call someone else in anyway. Pretty poor.
Just giving the second star because, like I said, I had no problem with actual guy who showed up.

Plumb London came to fix my boiler; the issue was fixed, however another problem was caused during the repair. A number of visits and several hundred pounds later the new problem remains and I am having to find another plumber to come and repair the damage caused as my emails are not being replied to.

I found this company convenient to book with and they were able to fix my toilet. However, they were late which could have been inconvenient but fortunately wasn't that big a deal. I was told that I would be charged an hourly rate plus materials plus VAT. I recommend asking the price of the materials so you can 'supervise' the quoting process, otherwise they will try it on.
