Very helpful staff. They helped me get my first folding bike, I had the chance to try it before buying it and asked a lot of questions. I have had a flat tire and some problems with the brakes and they fixed them at no cost apart from 5£ for the tire. There are also a lot of choices of bike gear, jackets, lights, gloves and of course bikes. In general a nice place that I would recommend if you are interested in sports in general. Can get busy during the weekend.

The service in this store is fantastic. Today I collected an online purchase ( arrived on time and I was notified promptly). Whilst there I asked if someone could recommend a new bike chain for my single-speed. Despite having no appointment, the technician - a very knowledgeable woman called Giana (I think?) - offered to look at my bike. Turns out I didn't need a new chain, as the bike wheel was easy to adjust. Giana showed me how to do it myself and checked everything was aligned properly. Also a shout out to the very friendly Italian guy (began with M) who helped me with the other bike stuff I needed. Top bikes, great value and incredible service. Decathlon you put other specialist bike shops in Brighton to shame !

The customer service is superior here compared to any other bike shop in Brighton. The Italian bike expert (I shamefully forgot her name, it starts with G) is the kindest and most knowledgeable bike technician I've ever met, give her a raise! I highly recommend this shop to everyone!

Ordered online, delivery date to collect in store was 10th. The 10th came and went with no comms. I tracked order online, there had been no update since I placed the order - 5 days prior, so I sent a FB message - to date this has not been replied to (5 days after delivery date).
Three days after the expected delivery date I received a text saying my order was ready for collection.
I visited the Brighton store to collect, not impressed at all ! No clear signs where to go, turns out you go to the self service check outs and try and pin down an unhelpful member of staff. None of the staff were friendly and it seemed disorganised.
This was my first and last purchase.

I want to give a big thank you to Bernardo and Andy at the Decathlon Brighton Bike department. They did everything they could to help with my bike and were very helpful and understanding to my circumstances.
They are under a lot of pressure at such a big store but still remain extremely friendly and welcoming. Fantastic customer service and bike knowledge.

My bike was completely broken, particularly the back wheel. Bernardo was the person who attended me and he promised me that in 48hrs the bike would be fixed. He was very professional, excellent job done. I highly recommend this shop if you want to have your bike ready for the best experts in Brighton. Thank you Mr. Bernardo.

I don't usually write feedback on my experience but I am very positive with the team from Decathlon Brighton branch.
I have purchased B'TWIN Tilt 500 Folding Electric Bike in White for my commuting journey to work daily and the staffs have approached me by educating me more about the range of bikes which suit best for my needs. They are not like the other sellers who only aim to sell but more on understanding your needs and requirements. The store gets very busy at most time and everyone is needing help but they priorities each customers with good attention. Very happy with the purchase and the experience I have gained in the store. They are also having good knowledge and skills which is reasonable for you to make a good decision. Bernardo have set up the whole bike for me and very professionally explained me thru the ways to protect and use of the bike. Nicholas took me to complete the whole registration and purchase process without leaving me unattended. The bike itself is amazing too! very eye catching and fast when on electric mode so people might get red eyes on it :P. I would say it offers good price with good deals and service.
Specially credits to the manager(I guess so) middle age gentlemen with specs on who served me and also two of the team members (Bernardo and Nicholas) happy that I have managed to catch their names :). They are very nice people , hard working and very much appreciated with their help and supports.
Definitely recommended to visit to Decathlon Brighton if looking for sports equipment/ service or advice. :)

Incredible customer service. Came with my bike to the shop to return a defective product (it happens) and while I was switching it, a very conscientious employee watched for my bike - in the street - to prevent it from being stolen! And the big thing is I didn't ask anything! Don't remember his name but he should definitely be the employee of the month.

Nice store with a good range of products. Click and collect is useful. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly - when a product was out of stock, the sales person took it upon themselves to phone around stores in the region for me. The bike counter allows you to pump up your tyres and the security lady at the front door is helpful.

Absolutely love this shop. Their products are great value and excellent quality, and the staff are so helpful and friendly. Special shout out to the bike guy - I rocked up with a flat at 6pm and he changed the tube, checked the tyre, checked my other tyre which needed pumping and fixed the wriggle in my handlebar - all within 15 minutes and for the ridiculously low price of £8.48 (incl parts).

Well laid out on three floors. Extensive range of goods for all manner of outdoor pursuits. Bought a waterproof jacket of good quality at a bargain price. If you needed to swiftly buy a range of outdoor kit for a weekend away, this place would be a good value option. Plenty of bang for your buck.

Asked to change some ski poles as they were slightly too long. I didn't have the receipt but the product was still labelled, with the barcode on it and unused. They could have easily switched them but refused on the basis that I could have bought them on eBay or amazon. What difference does it make if I'm swapping them for the next size up? Very bad service.

Lack of Staff. This is a lovely big shop full of good quality equipment but there is a distinct lack of shop stop staff to help the customers. I was hoping to buy a Garmin watch. The website said the Fenix 5 watch was available in store but there was no one to help me with the item or find it for me. I left in the end which was a shame.

Wrong advice. WAs after a inner tube for a 622 wheel. Being unsure about size I asked a member of the staff. She directed me to someone who knew about this. This second person recommended a size 700, and insisted a 650 would not fit better. I did a quick search online to find out that he was mistaken and 650 was my size. Sorry but staff are supposed to know better.

Amazing to find such a host of different sports all together in one shop like this. They have everything from archery to skiing to football and nicking. The only problem is the stock is quite low with not manny of the different items. The staff don’t seem to care about all the kids in there on there own playing with the different things the buying customers are looking at with them regularly running into customers on skateboards and scooters.

Since my last review I have changed my mind about Decathlon Brighton. I now would give it 4 stars as it does what it does very well and whilst it's not as big as the Essex store it does stock some good stuff at great prices.
