The meal was fantastic! High quality Chinese food at a good price point. We were able to try a large variety of items while sitting outside and enjoyed everything. We were especially fond of the jasmine tea, black chili chicken, shredded beef, and fried rice, pictured below. We will be back the next time we are in London!

Usually when a place serves more than just Chinese food the quality tends to fade. This is one of the few restaurants where such fading hasn't occurred. The Fujian rice ???? is heavenly, all the dumplings ???? are scrumptious, and there's plenty of other tasty food to order.

The dim sum was OK nothing special. The other dishes I ordered were far too small and were not worth the money at all. I feel the place is too expensive and with the 12.5% service fee no matter party size, it is a bit of a rip off.

Ordered via Deliveroo. My girlfriend recommended this place. Great quality, delicious dim sum! Excellent customer service too, the insulated bag it was delivered in was a really nice touch.

I order from the Waterloo branch every single day with our fail and sometimes twice a day. The manager and staff are fantastic and always get my order perfect . Outstanding service and the food is fantastic , the crispy belly pork , dim sum and soups and my caviar pure and the chiding fun is definitely worth trying . Highly recommend put of all Chinese on Deliveroo as the best place .

Ate alone here and they had a nice introductory discount after lifting of government restrictions. Well, personally I went with some luck and tried the Calamari and Ho Fun noodles which i've never had before. The Calamari was well cooked and crispy! Plenty of flavour in the batter so it's great eaten alone. The Ho Fun noodles were soooo gooood! Spicy, full of flavour, crunchy bean sprouts, soft noodle and everything else. Not to mention generous portions, friendly and attentive staff keeping the tables clean. I'll definately be back bere some day to enjoy more! ????????

Excellent vegetarian food. I would highly recommend hot and sour soup, tofu and vegetables in black bean sauce and egg fried rice. I order through deliveroo all the time and the food is always perfect!

Worst Deliveroo order ever, worst Chinese food ever, and worst restaurant in England! Waited for 2 hours to receive rotten trash. Food cold, sauce spilled, dumpling skin broken, stuff tasted like cheap artificial flavor, and the meat in the soup has gone bad!!! Portion is small, which I don’t know is bad thing or not as I don’t want to have any more of those trash.

We ordered dim sum and a couple of main dishes via Deliveroo. The food arrived well packed and warm.
Everything we ordered was really delicious, I recommend them all:
• Scallop & Prawn dumplings - so so delicious
• Prawn & Spinach dumplings with crab meat
• Wasabi Kings Prawn - the sauce is sweet and not the usual spicy wasabi, the prawns arrived nice and crispy
• Squid cake
• Honey Roast Pork and Crispy Pork Belly
• Plain Cheung Fun with peanut sauce
I really miss having dim sum so being able to get good quality delivery like this during lockdown is wondeful. Definitely try it, especially the scallop and prawn dumplings!

Amazing Chinese food, best I've ever had! A little expensive but the food is definitely worth it. We booked a table beforehand as we were a table of 10. Despite being so many of us there were no issues and service was great.

Just eaten there today and was superb. Great food. Polite and helpful staff. Track and trace in place. Disposable menus. Well spaced out tables. I’ve been eating here for a good few years and this was by far my best experience. Food is always good but customer service 10/10. Great job.

It's ok, but a lot of better options in Chinatown (when they were still open!) the cheung fun skin is too thick and the BBQ meats are not flavourful. We also got mapo tofu which came in an overly thick sauce and overcooked tofu, the flavours were not quite right. It's cool that they deliver, but unfortunately fall a little short of the mark.

Worst Chinese restaurant I’ve ever done
First the welcoming was good but then the service during our diner became worst and worst
The food looks good but the taste is very average : too much sugar or too much salt
Not good food ...
We had to wait for our plates and regarding the delay for a last plate we wanted to cancel and the waiter just told us that we had no choice but to eat because no cancellation is possible then he just flit the plate on the table
Then the bill arrived only with a total price and the order detail in Chinese ...
I mentioned to the waiter that he should be less rude, he just nod looking down
As Chinese food is my fav I don't recommend this place at all

I ordered from them on Deliveroo. They used their own delivery guy who claimed they couldn’t get ahold of me (no door bell, no txt, no phone) and then went back. After waiting for one hour and half, I called them. The receptionist has a really bad attitude. And then while I was contacting Deliveroo to try to cancel this order. They change the status to delivered!!! And then Deliveroo can’t refund me. And when I called them again, they said they can’t help me, asking me to call Deliveroo! I have never met such a unprofessional receptionist and bad restaurant service!

Ordered twice from this place on Deliveroo, both times it took more than 1.5h to get my food delivered. Called the restaurant complaining I had been waiting for more than 30min (the restaurant does their own delivery) since the order was out for delivery and I was told it's because my place is fair and there was transit when it's less than 2miles away and was not even rush our, of course i got my food cold. Terrible service!

Tao Tao Ju? More like Hen Hao Chi! (Very Delicious in Mandarin). In lockdown my partner and I crave authentic, delicious Dimsum with a wide selection. Hot and Sour soup, Har Gao, Cheung Fan and the lot. Tao Tao Ju not only prepares the dimsum true to the classic, it also meticulously packages the food so that the take out experience is, I dare say, AS good as dining in. Top marks keep doing what you're doing TTJ.

We had a great meal here after going to the Prince Charles Cinema, we ordered the Set Menu C which included dim sum, lobster and 3 dishes plus seafood rice. The lobster was the best I've ever eaten in a delicious sauce. The dim sum was fresh and very tasty, I'd definitely recommend this restaurant. Just watch the salt levels... Good service too!

It’s amazing here. Me and my fiancé went here for a date and the food is amazing, hot and big servings too. The service is also great, they asked if we wanted chilli oil which I said yes to because I love it (places I’ve been to before either don’t have it or you have to ask) and they are also very kind. We will definitely come back

I went there on night that a waitress who served me was so nice & smile. I've ordered some dim sum which I not excepted they still available on nights plus seafood noodles. Honestly some dim sum is tasted good but some is bland, but I like the noodles. Overall I'd still likely to go there again.

The food is good. However their delivery service is not acceptable. First, they will ask you to go downstairs to get the food. Second, when they arrive, they don’t press the telecom to get you notified. Third, they just pass the food to someone coming out of my building. Finally I can’t get the food by waiting for more than one hour.

I have been to Tao Tao Ju many times and I always had great food. The service is not amazing, they are very busy so you need to expect a fast service and sometimes not extremely friendly. They have a large room at the back of the restaurant that can accommodate a big group of people.

Been to Tao Tap Ju many many times before lockdown and it's was amazing to say the least!.. Food tasted fantastic and for what they charge it's really worth the trip into Chinatown just to eat here again!
Now it's reopened I've ordered again and nothing has changed whatsoever! Just a wonderful place to go and get a good Chinese food

Had some dim sum on a Sunday afternoon. The food was quite tasty, so was the tea - probably among the best in China town.
However, the dining experience was a bit unpleasant because the staff repeatedly "suggested" us to leave while there were still plenty of space available.
It is common and acceptable to set a time limit for dining during peak hours but they should have informed the customer upon their arrival, rather than passive-aggressively asking them to leave. It trigged some very negative discriminative vibes - was it because we ordered too little to be entitled to a longer stay or was it because they needed to make room for non-Chinese customers.
