All staffs are consistently rude, unhelpful, dismissive and miserable. I wanted to get some flowers with their advice as they are more professional. and the staff kept refusing and kept saying that "I don't know, I have no idea, what? what? what?" ...... I have no word for this flower shop. I won't go back there never again.

Staff are consistently rude. I paid for a certain number of flowers and they put fewer in the final bouquet. The flowers only lasted 3 or 4 days; supermarket flowers honestly last longer. To be avoided.

The staff here are consistently rude, unhelpful and dismissive - they were so exceptionally rude on my most recent visit i felt compelled to leave a review. For top-price flowers a level of customer service is expected. Absolutely not returning and disappointed to be unable to 'support local' when the staff are so unpleasant to deal with.

Dansk Flowers did a STUNNING job with my wedding flowers! They made the whole process so easy for me, after a quick consultation and showing them some ref pics I felt confident they got the vibe I was going for and they certainly delivered on the day! Couldn't of been happier with result and hard work Mel and her team put in. Great communication throughout and loved having them in my home for almost a couple of weeks after the wedding. Would highly recommend if you are after some beautiful flowers and arrangements for any event. :)

Terrible customer service.
Gosh what a way to treat customers. The staff are rude and abrupt. I purchased 2 bouquets spending £120 over 2 days and I experienced rude service by 3 different members of staff. It turned what should have been a lovely experience of buying a gift into a really negative experience. I would not recommend shopping here

Absolutely disgusting .. I paid £55 yesterday for a bunch of flowers ready for Mother’s Day today and they have dropped , petals fallen off , gone brown they look horrendous so have had to buy some from Waitrose ! I will never use this florist again I have never had an experience like it with flowers. It has ruined my gift for Mother’s Day .. If I could give 0 stars I would ! Please don’t waste your money here and go somewhere else. I never ever write reviews but I am fuming over this situation.

Very rude staff
There were couple of occasions that I asked them about flowers, their seasonal qualities and pricing. They not only give very rude answers but also try to correct my pronunciations and vocabulary. While I was in the queue, I was asked to move aside.
When I asked about pricing, I got a shoulder shrug instead of some guidance. These happened on couple of occasions with different staff members. They are unhelpful and rude. When I was with other people and we all are surprised with this rude attitude for overpriced flowers.

Wouldn't go again. Buying flowers is normally a lovely creative experience, but the staff here were abrupt and impatient. Told them my budget (which was not small), and was made to feel like there was little chance of getting anything substantial. Was helpfully reminded twice that "obviously nothing is free". Walked away with a weird looking, sparse bouquet. Delightful.

I ordered a bouquet for my wedding and it was absolutely perfect! Koshi went above and beyond to make the bouquet very special and exactly matching my description (even with my last minuite changes!) thank you so much for this! I would highly recommend to everyone ????????????

Very disappointed. I got two stems of white amaryllis. By the time I got home and unpacked five minutes later, one of the two buds fell almost completely off the stem. Granted, I did not inspect the flowers in the shop due to covid, but one would expect the staff to give a warning or to just throw it away instead of selling it?

I'm also surprised by the 1-star comments. I've been coming here for 9 years and always had great customer experience + the flowers have always lasted at least twice as long as they do from other flower shops nearby. They're a bit pricey, but they are really good quality. Ordered our wedding flowers from Dansk as well, and everyone couldn't say enough good things about them - fresh, fantastically beautifully designed bouquets, and ready in a very timely manner. Thanks Dansk Flowers, you guys do real magic!

Nice flowers but quite expensive. A bouquet of a kind of Camille for £10. Staff was nice and helpful, certainly know their stuff and present flowers well. Could probably get the flowers cheaper at the Columbia Road Flower Market.

Beautiful range of flowers but we've been here 5-6 times and each time they have not lasted well (despite being very expensive) and we have found the overall experience of buying them quite unpleasant. Weirdly, all of the staff (it's not just one or two) are unfriendly and rush you when making decisions about which flowers to buy. We decided this last time that, although it's the most convenient place for us to buy flowers, we won't be going back.

I am really surprised by the negative reviews of Dansk in Islington. I have used them for years for birthdays and gifts and even my sister’s wedding. The flowers are beautiful, unusual and they last a long time. You can always ask for a new bouquet if you think a display is looking tired. The owner is very talented and did a fantastic job for my sister’s wedding. There appear to be a few negative comments about the staff, Dansk should take note because there are plenty of other flower shops in the area, but I have never had bad service.

I suspect most, if not all, of the bad reviews here are fake and left by an unpleasant, malicious person/s with a dubious agenda.
I live locally and always use them and have done for years. The staff are sweet, lovely and knowledgeable. The place looks gorgeous and is an asset to the way Upper Street looks.
They've always got me out of trouble when I've left it to the last minute. They've got a nice selection of seasonal flowers. I can trust them to make up any sort of appropriate bouquet for any occasion.
There's a nice Danish lady who owns it and she and her staff work really hard at all hours and in all weathers.
Companies which behave as badly as have been described by reviewers here, don't last - there's a reason they're still here.
Good flowers, good service. Highly recommended.

Similarly to other reviewers I’ve always found the staff quite unhelpful and impatient. Someone ordered a bunch for me recently and they didn’t last a week - felt like they just sent a bunch they’d otherwise have discarded.

Well, I would have bought something had anyone working there even attempted to acknowledge me. No one looked up. No one said hi. I wanted to ask the price of a nice bouquet and no one even glanced my way. They were busy tidying and talking and apparently too busy to help a customer. I just bought something at Waitrose instead.

I'm very surprised at the low rating here. I've been using these guys for years for special occasion flowers - the service has always been great and the flowers always look spectacular.
I always order over the phone and they are waiting for me when I go in. On one occasion I forgot to collect and thankfully I received a reminder call at the end of the day to go in and get them.
I'm taking off one star from the rating as on one occasion the flowers did die very quickly, as others have mentioned, but it was a one-off.

Incredible service and beautiful arrangement for our wedding flowers.
Advice was honest and spot-on compared to other florists who advised the arrangement my wife wanted could be possible even though the flowers were out of season.
Quality and care taken preparing the bouquet and the delivery was excellent.
I can appreciate some of the other reviews and fiery/barking service, but they're good at what they do and worthy of 5 stars.

I can understand the rushing and being curt, it was busy and close to Mother's Day, but the flowers never arrived even though they guaranteed the delivery, now I've got one pissed off mother in law (and wife) and £70 lighter.
Update: when trying to claim a refund, the delivery driver admitted to not delivering them to the correct location but to next door, but he was still trying to block the refund by saying he was given the wrong info (which was clearly on the ticket) and that the person he did give the flowers to accepted them???!! Then insisted that I show him the address on street view, which we did and it showed the correct location and even then he still would not accept he made a mistake.
Anyway, after persuading the shop assistant to call the manager, the manager eventually agreed the refund after making a fuss. The young blond shop assistant was apologetic and helpful, so upping the review to two stars, although the driver could have defused the situation by just admitting his mistake.

We were so pleased with our wedding flowers from Dansk Flowers. The bouquet was stunning, I wanted a handpicked look and Trina put the most beautiful colourful bouquet together, with some really unusual flowers (and some are still going strong two weeks later!). I even took it on honeymoon to enjoy it for longer. Our table flowers were simple but so lovely and received many compliments.
We had an initial chat with Trina about our ideas and then we were invited in a few weeks before our wedding to look at a mock up of the flowers and discuss any changes we wanted.
The staff can be a little curt at times but never rude and overall we were pleased with the customer service and I just loved the flowers they provided (and at reasonable wedding prices). I would highly recommend Dansk for wedding flowers.

I very rarely write bad reviews but I paid £40 for a small bouquet for my girlfriend's mum (it was the first time I'd met her) and despite them being left in water and in a relatively cool spot, they died within two days. TWO DAYS!

Rude staff. Poor customer service. I've bought overpriced flowers here twice but won't be going back. My last encounter was over the phone, to check their opening times the following day. The woman who answered spoke over the top of me and failed to answer the question, then told me to look on the website and hung up. Helpful

Then patronizing 'advice' about keeping them out of the sunlight from both of them IN STEREO. How can you be so cosmically grumpy when you are surrounded by such natural beauty!
