I have been searching for a mattress for a few weeks I had visited Dreams and Benson for Beds in West London Dreams gave me only 3 options all quite expensive Benson for Bed had a good range to choose from. I then visited Furniture Village in South Ruislip and there was so much to choose from but what stood out for me at Furniture Village was the sales Consultant Chris Mcvitie this guy is a must go to when visiting the store his knowledge of the mattresses and other furniture in the store is amazing he showed me around and explained everything there was to know about each mattress I looked at from the materials used to the construction of the mattress and the history of the companies it was this excellent customer service that helped me choose the right mattress for me. He was very helpful and informative something that I never got at Dreams or Benson for beds this was the reason I decided to purchase a mattress from Furniture Village I thought the payment options the terms and conditions and delivery was explained thoroughly. If your looking for furniture then Furniture Village in South Ruislip is the place to go and Chris is the sales consultant to talk to. I don't usually write reviews but Chris certainly deserves a review Thank you Chris

They have a good range of items and a nice store layout. We had a helpful, polite and not too pushy female member of staff. The processing of the order at the computer desk took ages but this was an IT issue apparently and we were compensated for our time with coffee while we waited. They also do cook on demand (so warm!) Otis Spunkmeyer cookies, if you enjoy your cookies that way ????

We were met by a greeter, who very politely took our temperatures.
The shop was well laid out with plenty of space to walk around.
We were not pressurised at all by the sales staff, but who were to hand if we had a query.
We finally settled on the sofa we liked and found a charming salesman who managed to give us a very good deal.
All in all, a very good experience.

A pleasant shopping experience!
I went in with my mother to get a good quality armchair we saw online in the sale. We met a lovely sales assistant called Liz. She was so helpful and gave her honest opinion of what chairs we should look at. I appreciated her honesty and her really lovely approach. She showed us through all the items which were on sale and we ended up going away with 3 armchairs at a fraction of their original price! Watch out for the sales here!

We were introduced to our sales associate at the front door and he was with us from start to finish. He was a no-nonsense, matter of fact person who wasn't pushy. He walked us directly to the item we had come to see in-store. He listened to our requirements and only on request showed us other similar items so that we could compare. He also gave us time to think about our purchase and was available to formally take our order at the end. He went through the order specifics in detail to ensure the correct items were added to the order and that we understood the delivery process. We had a comfortable and satisfying experience.

Furniture Village is a very patient, caring and friendly furniture retailer. I’ve been very impressed with the level of sales service provided. Just bought my stuff and then realised it wouldn’t fit in my apartment and the team handled my issue so well and resolved it for me by letting me change my order and recommending products to me that would suit. Mithu was very patient with all my questions and Yatin was very kind with accommodating my requests. A very good deal overall and good experience. Now looking forward to a 15/17 week wait for the bed and sofa so hopefully this will be earlier!

I received fantastic service at Furniture Village on Wednesday 2 December 2020. It was a courteous and friendly staff that served me. She is Elizabeth Powowicz. She saw me wandering around and approached me. She was very good in describing the wardrobe even though it was on sale and still packaged. The wardrobe earth triple robe was delivered and set up the next day due to her arrangements. And it is exactly as described by her. I will definitely be shopping there again. It was the efficient manager of the South Ruislip store that recommended this particular wardrobe in an email he sent me the previous day when he realised I was looking for a warranty. Fantastic service.

The salesperson was very unprofessional, didn't even acknowledge us coming in on the first floor. Didn't even bother to stand up from his seat even when we asked him questions. He was more interested in his computer even when we were the only customer in the store. Although the guy at the door was friendly and very pleasant.

BY far one of the WORST customer service experiences in the UK. I already ordered a bed from the Watford location and the order was royally messed up. I ordered a dining table and sofa from the South Ruislip store...as the review above state they are very friendly in store...but once they have your cash ZERO FOLLOW UP OR ACCOUNTABILITY. Order placed end of September 2020, dining table to be delivered in 5 weeks, couch in 17. No one reached out to me until I followed up in early December, was told the dinging table has been sitting in the warehouse for the last 2 months (EVEN THOUGH I SIGNED A CONTRACT stating YOU had to arrange delivery within 7 days of arrival into the warehouse)
I made the mistake of paying off the remainder of the dining table...3 weeks ago. NO ONE HAS FOLLOWED UP FOR DELIVERY. And please stop with the excuse of COVID its been a global pandemic for the last 9 months figure it out. I will be contacting the consumer protection agency and have already called my credit card company to recall the payment.
AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS - go to Ikea or John Lewis depending on budget.

English isn't my first language but she nevertheless was able to communicate with me well. I'd definitely recommend anyone looking for furniture to look for Liz!

Very unexpected unprofessional behaviour from furniture village.
I had a great experience when I came into the store to order a dining table and an equally bad experience in getting it delivered. I was supposed to get my delivery today and when I called up your team in South Ruislip they say it has been delayed for 2 more months. You should at least have the courtesy to let your customers know in advance if there is a delay in delivery and also provide with an alternative. Totally didn’t expect this behaviour from your end and totally unprofessional.

very poor customer service. It's been weeks I haven't received my refund and when calling no one gets back to me. I usually don't write negative reviews but hereby I want to know why they keep passing me on to someone else and delaying my refund every day. Ordered rugs from furniture village ruislip which were different colour and size when they delivered it. Ordered dining table and chairs, they told me dining table is ready to be send out but chairs will take 3 months to be delivered which I told them it's fine send it out to me together and we agreed to that. Then 2 days later they call me that the table has to be send out because the warehouse doesn't have space????.
Wow now I have the dining table without chairs, which wasn't the plan.

Lovely staff, I was able to browse peacefully, yet recieved friendly and non-pushy advice when I asked. Paul helped me through a selection of dining sets and Yatin finalised the paperwork. They were both super lovely and the store has styles that literally will suit to a variety of tastes. Prices range for all budgets and financing options are fantastic. Will definitely be purchasing the rest of my furniture from here later on. Could not recommend more!

Good selection of furniture and friendly salesperson. However, I was disappointed that nobody offered any help with the fairly heavy table I bought from the clearance section. I was carrying it across the store and staff were watching but nobody bothered to call someone to help me take it to my car. I am sure there was a handyman working somewhere who could come and help.

They have got a very wide range of furniture. We were served by Rajesh and were dealt with very nicely and efficiently and we luckliy ended up buying what we were looking for. I went to this store on a Monday afternoon. I work with customer service .I was upstairs looking at beds but there was none to help me . I had to go downstairs and again had to actually ask someone to help me from the rear of the shop! Bad customer service.
Once they realised I was actually seriously considering buying a bed I received good help from Julie and another Asian gentleman.
