this tesco is terrible, a lot of the staff have a bad attitude with customers. as for security- where do i start? always stopping women accusing them of not paying for everything! they're definitely on some sort of power trip- especially Nigel ( head of security)you complain to head office & they say they will look into it but never get back to you!

The security staff are really friendly in this Tesco. They always say morning and are always happy. The ladies at the self service are awful! They always are speaking to each other, they are never ever friendly. One looks at you like your going to steal every time you shop in there. I hate shopping in here because of them

I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of friendly and polite staff that work here, these few are an asset to the company and I can't recommend and sing their praises enough.
The rest however....sweet jesus where do I begin?? RUDE BAD ATTITUDE you ask them something they suck their teeth at you (big no no in my book) you greet them with a cheery "hello" "good evening" etc and they just stare at you. Granted it can't be a pleasant job but I know I'm not responsible for your ending up there nor have I been rude to you yet they lack basic manners and basic customer service.
Some of the cashiers find handing you your receipt an effort in itself and they clearly do not want to be there and seem to take it out on the customers. The management are either at their wits end from the endless complaints and can't decide how to deal with the unruly staff or they simply listen to your concern and when you've gone rub it right past their man parts. That's how bad this place is. Don't get me started with the security guards, an absolute joke. I notice that if your'e a certain build and height they don't say boo to you otherwise as some reviewers have commented here, they bully them into showing them the proof of purchase. The car park is fantastic as you get 1 hour and a half but that's it, again some reviewers here with blue badges find cars parked in their areas and I find incorrectly parked cars so you have no sodding room to park! Where are the bullies - sorry I mean security guards?? Pinning an old lady up against a wall that they suspected stole an out of date fruitcake? I find the best thing to do is call the customer service number and make an official complaint, don't stay angry and stay silent. If you feel you have been %**% on from a great height then complain because it's the only way things will change. Sadly this is a massive supermarket that has almost everything and some of us have no choice but to go here because we need supplies otherwise I'm sure the majority would boycott this place.

the spaghetti was a very reasonable price which i like. also the tinned food section is amazing, reminds me of some of the more upmarket supermarkets withou the big price tags. well worth a visit

I always loved this Tesco Superstore. Many and varied products are found there. Though their prices are usually a bit higher than Lidle and Aldi, they are great competitors of Sainsbury. I can find vegan and vegetarian products, meal deals, etc. A good llace to get lost, get to know all the products, a feast for the eyes too. Safe place to make shopping, very organised. I recommend ????

The staff by and large are excellent. They do however deal with some horrible customers, that come into the area and think they can handle them any how. Seems that gentrification is breeding ground for rude and obnoxious people.
Been shopping there for years, lovely experience every time.

Small, milk and bread are always close to sell by date. No bags at the self checkout tills. Not enough staff on the normal tills. I contemplate ending my life as a suitable alternative to having to enter this place for anything.

Dreadful. The staff couldn't be less interested if they tried. More than once I've been through a whole transaction without a word from checkout staff. The only good thing about this tesco is the car park (1hr 30 minutes free parking) when doing other shopping in Brixton.

The store is really good. Has a great variety of items and fantastic parking. The issue for me is some of the staff on the tills. I don't think they have even know what customer service is! I am not sure what training or onboarding they receive but they are rude, apathetic and clearly don't want to be there. Tesco must be doing something right because when I go back for my next shop those particular staff that are rude no longer work there!! It just doesn't make for a pleasant experience when you are served by one of them.

Security issues ¿!!! Funny!!! They leave very big trolleys unattended when they overloaded with heavy items, it's not dangerous but if you have a folded bike with you it's dangerous and not acceptable. Security manager Nigel will find you and waste your time with talking for his ego even if you don't have time for it.

Had a very unpleasant experience with an elderly female checkout operator who ignored my friendly greeting to her multiple times. She scanned and flicked the food at me to pick up. I looked for a member of customer service or the management team and couldn't find one. Definately won't be shopping at this branch again.
