The above was my original review. Now, 6 months on in November 2020, I can only agree with my original 5* review. They went absolutely above and beyond to hand deliver a birthday present to my daughter on the right day and they even included a birthday card. I still haven't been able to visit the shop as I haven't been to Brighton since lockdown, but will do so when I'm able.

Not only are the chocolates SO DELICIOUS. But the service is wonderful too. The staff were so helpful via email and over the phone when arranging chocolates for my mums birthday. I’m so grateful and I know she will love the present.

Really sad with the let down we had visiting this place. We trekked all the way here from the lovely lanes as I was keen to find a chocolate shop. However we found that after queueing patiently for 15 mins to follow the ‘max 3 people’ rule (COVID-19) that it clearly didn’t apply to the endless stream of people coming in to collect stored luggage!! I felt rushed choosing the chocolates at the counter as the poor girl, tried her best to serve me and hand over bag after bag to people coming in with tickets to collect their luggage! What’s that all about?! You’re either a chocolate shop or a luggage storage shop!! Spoilt the experience as more than 3 people were in the shop throughout my visit and most didn’t wear a mask!! ????

Leonidas Brighton is AMAZING. In store they are so friendly and helpful, answering all questions, and making good suggestions. Now they are selling online as well it's great as I'm able to send delicious chocolate to my family who don't live close by, letting them know I'm thinking about them. When I was a kid we used to go to Leonidas every time we went to Belgium and get a big ballotin to take home, and now being able to buy them right in my hometown, or send them to my family, is amazing.
Most of all, the chocolate is unbelievably tasty!

I already love the brand. It's got great memories for me and the chocolate is always amazing. The Brighton store staff are always so friendly and helpful too. Patient (there's so much choice) and friendly in store and prompt in response over email.

Tried to make a purchase today after 4PM. salemans on a personal phone call & turned his back to us( 4 of us no eye contact) or greeting and continued his call. When we walked out he said something & I replied I was going to make a purchase but was put off by his unprofessional conduct. There were no other customers. Most disappointed.
