It's our favourite cafe! Miss sitting in the cozy cafe though due to pandemic. We always go there to have our favourite Mocha and Banana-Chocolate Bread! They do awesome chocolate variety. Images with this review were taken during one the visits before the pandemic!

Fantastic hot chocolate, lovely people, some of the best chocolate caramel buttons I have ever had. Lived opposite for years when I was younger and never went, now I regret that more than ever.
Covid precautions were very good as well

My husband took me to Rumseys for a special treat. What a find. Chocolate in all its forms and you can can buy their handmade chocolates to take home. I had drinking chocolate followed by waffles with honeycombe ice cream decorated with a handmade chocolate decoration. Deeeelicious. Very good adherence to new Covid rules - lots of space outside, tables cleaned when one customer left and before the next customer sat down and all customers were asked to 'check in using the NHS app or manually with one of the staff if they did not have the app. Will definitely go again.

Chocoholics Unite!!! Beautiful little cafe off the main square area. Makes own chocolate on site which you can observe. The hot chocolate espresso was delicious (especially with the churros). And the cakes were ????????. Quaint, good price for stuff so tasty. Definitely stop in if you are in the area.

Best ever churros and hot chocolate I have ever tasted. This place deserves people around the world to wait in queue for years to taste their food. Although inside there are not many seats, the outside seats give a great feel of Wendover.

Wendover is lovely, but Rumsey's is my main (only) attraction to stopping in this location!
Great breakfast and the array of delicious desserts and beverages.
Portion sizes are good and usually I'm stuffed to capacity after my visit. Not so much on my most recent visit though.. I'm pretty certain cake portion sizes used to be twice the size before COVID.... ????????
This makes me sad, even moreso if I'm incorrect as this means I'm eating way too much cake.. (current weight: 48kg.. nope, I must be right)
My go to; scrambled eggs on toast, Chocolate Fudge cake with mango icecream ???? drinks vary on my mood lol.

Loved this bustling little combination chocolate shop/pastry shop/tea shop. The service was friendly, the food was fabulous and I can't wait to visit again so I can try the chocolate fondue that I photographed on its way to another table. There are cases of gorgeous chocolates, special cakes and random treats such as a chocolate swiss army knife and lollipops at the till. They serve freshly made waffles in two styles (dessert and breakfast,) and their chocolate can be ordered in the old-fashioned thicker, rich house recipe.

The goat quiche paired with homemade coleslaw and roasted vegetables was simply divine! Detail in presentation. Even their hot drinks came with dark chocolate disc on the side. Just the perfect.finishing touch. Service was spot on as well!

The hot chocolate was good but very sweet. Chocolates very expensive compared to good quality in Belgium so I will continue to purchase abroad. The place has changed a lot since it was the Natwest bank, and not accessible with a wheelchair.

Today was the first day I've been out socially since COVID. My friend and I had a little walk around beautiful Wendover and stopped for coffee at Rumsey's. I cannot praise their service enough. Clean tables outside well spaced. Polite, efficient and knowledgeable staff took our order, requested contactless payment at the table, brought us delicious things and make sure they took 'track and trace' details. They were all wearing their PPE correctly and on the hottest day of the year too whilst remaining polite and friendly. Our waitress was even able to help me with a question about how their coffee was decaffeinated, which is an important allergy question for me and one that very few coffee shops have ever been able to answer for me in the past. She knew the answer confidently and instantly. Absolute 5 Stars Rumsey's. We are very lucky to have you in Wendover. Thank you.

Delicious homemade ice cream in a fancy chocolate-waffle cone. £3 ok value due to size, but could really do with a smaller cheaper option for kids, for whom this quantity of ice cream is a waste of food and money.

Excellent coffee; rich and smooth. Full of flavour bacon sardines too. Not cheap but great quality so well wo5the price. Oh, and very friendly staff with usually quick service even when busy.
