Nothing short of amazing. Have been bringing my Morris Minor here for mot for a few years now. Never over charged or unnecessary work. Helpful, patient, thorough, professional etc, etc. Great value for money. These guys are the best.

Charged an hours labour to ‘secure the battery’ and fit 2 bulbs. Turns out they zip tied it which must have taken under 2 minutes. Bulbs probably took under 5 minutes.
Lady I complained to said they would look into it but never bothered coming back to me.
Will be using other local garages from now on.

I have only been here twice, I have found my first visit welcoming. They won't rip you off like some places do, saying that you have to change pretty much everything. I have found them very friendly and super nice when visiting and calling on the phone. I feel like I can trust them with my car. They will definitely be my go to mechanics.

I have been using the garage for years and after today, I will never go back. Tried to charge my husband £300 plus for an oil change! I paid that for a whole service on my own car with them. It is an absolute joke and for the sake of a few extra quid, they have lost a long standing customer.

Have been coming here for a while now and I've never been disappointed so far.
Highly recommend it.
But don't try to drive your car into the garage itself (like I did)! It's really tight! Just leave the key to the office ????

Great service from the team at Clerkenwell Motors, took my 40 year old aircooled VW T25 to them on a recommendation from another t25 owner and I was not disappointed. The owner of the garage also has an aircooled VW so had mine back up and running smoothy in no time. He also took the time to go through what had happened and things I could do in the future myself.

I found Sam and Clerkenwell Motors after being dissatisfied with my previous mechanic and what a revelation it is to find a genuine honest and passionate man who does his best for clients and really does look after their cars. I have an older Merc but it was not an issue. I’ve now been taking my car to him for over 2 1/2 years and never had an issue with the work or the pricing for MOT and repairs. Do consider him for your future work to your car. They do specialise in Merc’s and BMW as well!

This is the best experience I have had with a garage. I have never written a review before but was so impressed by the service at Clerkenwell Motors that I feel compelled to write. I drive a Tesla and have had work done other places before recommended by Tesla that I have not been happy with. Clerkenwell Motors and the owner Savo on the other hand are top professionals and provide an extraordinarily good, fast and personal service. I highly recommend them to my friends and everyone else.

Excellent experience. Reliable people, family run with long local tradition. I was recommended to go there by my neighbour who used them for years. There are so many lemons and scammers in this business, including those online aggregators, I am glad I have someone local whom I can trust fully. Completed my repair in next to no time, gave me all the information I needed, all at a reasonable price.

Be very careful on disclosing what car you drive before asking for the quote.
I called asking them for a quote to replace 2 front tyres. Gave the exact type - Pirelli P Zero 265/45/R20. I was told the price is £210 per tyre + £12 fitting. I also asked for additional wheel alignment service and was told this is £65-90.
I was then asked at the end of the call what is the car make and model. So it was Porsche Macan. At this point I was told that the quote I was given is not correct because this car will require "Porsche designated tyres" which are more expensive... I agreed to come to the shop and the following day they looked at the car and concluded I need to replace all 4 tyres (fair enough) and promised to get back to me with the estimate.
An hour later I got a call saying that it will be total of £1,300-something (I didn't even listen to the last bit). The quote was more expensive than the authorised Porsche dealer (prior to this call, I contacted Porsche Centre East London).
The designation on the tyres which apparently makes them more expensive is "N0". Guess what Clerkenwell Motors? There is no Pirelli P Zero 265/45/R20 which has N0 and the other which does not have N0 designation - there is just 1 type which is N0. And these tyres cost £184 (front) and £176 (rear) online (so fair enough with the initial £210 quote per tyre).
When I suggested I could buy the tyres myself I was told the fitting cost per tyre will increase to £50!!! That's the most expensive quote I have ever gotten in London.
Gave 2 stars as we were leaving here in the past our unassuming Ford Fiesta and had no issues for MOTs. I suppose just be careful when leaving with them high end cars. You have to pay "Robin Hood" tax in here.

I can't thank you enough for temporary fixing our car yesterday.
We live in Bristol and our car broke down in London due to some broken hose. There was dense smoke coming from under the bonett and the cooling liquid leaked on the floor. They did a temporary fix for a resonable price (£78), so that we can drive it back home without having to call AA to put it on a platform.
The only reason why I am rating them 4* is because the Manager of this place could work on improving his customer service skills a little bit ????
