Great staging of rooms as always. Felt quiet on a Friday morning which was nice. Still a great place to shop and get some inspiration. My kids can't wait for the restaurant to reopen!

Always love going to IKEA, first time in a very long time. No queues outside car park fairly empty was able to get a space straight away. Arrived at 10. Not busy inside until got round to the elevators and then the downstairs section was quite busy, seemed like people had just gathered there. Otherwise it was good. Checkouts fast & so was the bistro.

I love so much presentation of the rooms, design but stuff are so slow. For collection my item which I've paid in the shop and waited around 20 min because its was upstairs. Tasty hot dogs, very small portions of fries and if you ordered too much you'll need more than one pair of hands, you may drop it on the floor.

Awesome place to shop and eat! The Smaland play area is great for children, it includes many activities, fully supervised by staff and you can collect your children before their session time is over. Children can make new friends too. The restaurant is nice but there should be more variety, the furniture is good quality and easy to assemble, there is also and outdoor play area. Overall, great place for shopping!

Visited IKEA after a very long time due to pandemic and lockdown. Went on Bank Holiday Monday and was impressed with the new layout. It was busy but free flowing. One way system was good as it kept people moving but downside was you couldn't just go into the marketplace if you did not need to browse. Did not take long as we knew what was needed and had checked the app for the location. Queue at the checkouts were nominal. Staff were very friendly and ready to help with queries and assist in any way they could.

You either love IKEA or hate it, I for one love it, have just completed a major update of our bedroom with all IKEA wardrobes, very pleased with the outcome. I found them very easy to assemble but then I've had a lot of practice with IKEA products. Had to go to Wembley because they were out of stock at the other local branches, found the product easily and finished of my project ok, until the next one.

I would love if this had been 5* as I thoroughly enjoy walking through IKEA. Most items were sold out, the Aisle and Location info to pick up products were incorrect. I am all for saving the environment and not using plastic bags but IKEA now charge 15p for a paper bag from the food court!!! It's really not about the money, it's just very frustrating as I had bought dinner for the whole family (5 people) and they just expected me to carry it out without a bag or even closing the food boxes!!! I'm really hoping customer service will be better next time round. On a positive, the floral walls are stunning and a perfect photo opportunity for anyone on Instagram, especially the red telephone box. I was informed that it had all been done by one lady, kudos to her! Nice refurbishment IKEA!

When we were here shopping we found after returning to our cart after leaving it for 5 minutes, that staff had stacked dozens of customer carts on top of each other and just tossed all their stuff on one big stack. Took us ages to find our cart, and to figure out which of the stuff inside was ours and which they had carelessly thrown on top. Never had such an experience at an IKEA store, and when I went to an employee to complain (who himself was perfectly professional and helpful) he apologised and said the guys who did this were "agency workers" who didn't care. Nice going, IKEA.

Lots of people walking around with their masks around their neck. I saw people conversing with staff with masks pulled down in close proximity to them, the staff did not insist that the person wear the covering properly. This is not good enough. Further training needed.

I have visited this store numerous times before, but this review is purely about today's visit. Stock was absolutely fine and the store is easy to navigate with friendly staff who are happy to help and I would usually give 5 stars. My main issue today is that due to Covid regulations only a certain number of people are allowed in store at once, which is completely reasonable, however IKEA seem to wait for a large number of people to leave before allowing a large number of people in, rather than a one in one out policy. This results in large clumps of people around the store moving in herds rather than trickling through, causing congestion and crowding which is unsafe.

No social distancing, hand sanitizer stations empty throughout the store, no clearly signposted short cut exits. Still forcing customers on a labyrinth through the store in a pursuit to make you spend father's the protect there customers. Very irresponsible of IKEA!

I had to return a few items- they open 9.30, massive queues obviously and the most amazing idea to keep returns queues separate from main shop. 10 minutes in and out! I'd give them 12 stars of could. Really really good experience this time

Good place to shop, their canteen has some really nice food, would go there just for that. The only draw back was the car park was full had to drive around until we found parking.

Absolutely appalling experience. Very lengthy queues today with an extremely poorly managed system. Some long but fast moving queues leading eventually to 10 manned tills with other equally long but considerably slower moving queues leading to three self service 'Express' tills. Judging from other reviews this isn't a new problem which points to inept management.

The store was clean and well stocked. They were following covid guidelines, & there were plenty of staff on hand to help. Even though it was busy, there were plenty of tills open so there wasn't a long wait.

A mess. No social distancing or any indication Covid is still a thing. I’d stay away for another year or so. Whatever they sell can be bought online anyway.

Chaos and vastly over populated and not social distancing at all. Wanted 3 items from the main warehouse area and had to walk the ENTIRE store top and bottom floor. How does that help stop the spread Covid-19 when you have to do that??? Poorly planned....

Does anyone really need a review about IKEA? This is the best place to get a riktig ogla, or a fyrkantig!! I personally have been enjoying a dagstorp for years. Covid info- it has a one way system, theres alcohol gel and people are wearing masks. The biggest risk of covid is definitely the people there, much like other places. Meatballs open from the 17 of May (correct at the time of writing. Blame Boris if that changes) if you want them hot on a plate. Otherwise the desperate can buy frozen or as a takeaway at the end of the marathon tour. You are currently unable to leave kids at the doorway, so good luck getting out without a soft toy once youve gone through the dreaded parent trap.

I was surprised to find that the store wasn't as busy as I expected on the first day of opening after 3 months closed. However, I understand the need to be covid safe but to close off the shortcuts makes no sense. Why make me walk around the entire store when I just need to get into the warehouse? That just increases exposure to others. Ridiculous!

Didnt have to queue for long, once in it was quite busy especially with people taking over aisles with their trolleys. Fully stocked shelves, tills took a while but didnt take too long. Got through in the end. Had some odd items on the shelves but it's all in the ikea spirit

Very unorganised, aweful one way walk ways on car park, over crowded, no social distancing. Not a nice experience. Will stick to Ikea Reading in future

Who can not love this place?! ???? every pieces of this place is incredibly beautiful! From tiny accessories to large furnitures they are so quality and modern ! I bought my first rug here and it’s amazing! The color and details .. it goes with every piece in my room, and the quality is something beyond words ???? secondly We bought a wardrobe here I can’t get enough saying how great it is.. the picture says it all. ❤️ & of course their famous drawers and many little pieces. ????You can find any idea in this place .. so many designs .. so many colors .. so many good stuff .. yet the best part of this place is that you can create your own design or idea ! ... and let’s talk about the prices ... I mean “Every freaking One can afford their stuff” ... Damn I’m in love with this place.

For the first time buyers in IKEA... The first floor is just for product viewing. You can check and select your product, note down the location mentioned on the label of the product and proceed further. Please note this store has a one way traffic inside the store. So please plan accordingly. Once you finished selecting your products, proceed to the basement or ground floor and search the location mentioned on the product label. Before that please don't forget to carry the trolley with you on ground floor. And then checkout at the ground floor. Overall satisfying experience.

Great store with great products at fair prices But they need to get the till system right especially the self service checkout. Spent longer at the checkouts than I spent shopping which should not be the case.

Sweet Bendi Benji... We went later in the evening to try and avoid the masses. Apparently that doesn't matter at this IKEA, 20 mins to park, 2 hours shuffling through, and the worst part? The customer collection area... 45 mins to wait for a part to be picked! Toilets were clean though.

Very unhelpful staff. They make you feel like you bothering them. Never happened to me that they would go extra mile... coming here for 8 years only because it is close to my house. Usually because of that I shop elsewhere for bigger things... can't afford to loose precious time with their attitude.

The changes they have made to the store to keep covid safe seem to be having the desired effect. However the it is massively let down when it comes to the checkouts.

Went on a Sunday morning first thing. A little overcrowded once inside but there were actually no queues to get in. Checkouts were not too bad either with maybe 3 people in front in most of the aisles. The returns queue was however a little more of a wait ... I would say an average of approximately 1 hour wait before you are served. On the whole not a bad as I expected

Long queues and waiting times at the self checkouts and once you eventually get to scan and pay, security staff were stopping every single customer on their way to the exit to double check number of items in their trolley, making the whole process long and frustrating. You either install self checkouts to speed up payments without unnecessary waiting times or you open more mannered checkouts if you don’t trust your customers and need to double check everything! !! It spoiled an otherwise pleasant shopping experience. AVOID SELF CHECKOUTS !!

Made an order online. Bit cheeky that they give you a specific day to collect your goods. Anyway got an email and text to say I could pick it up a day early. Picked it up with no issues. You are supposed to call when you get to the car park and then they get your order. This can take a good 20 minutes so I advise you call before you get there to save time. All in all good service. Well done IKEA.

Good one way system layed out. Low or no stock on several items. Very little social distancing from customers and many ignoring directional signs. Extremely busy! Seems to be struggling with the amount of customers as a result of reopening. Will probably improve in the coming months.

Not Impressed with a £40 delivery charge so I decided to click and collect. Extremely busy car park but was in and out in 15mins mainly due to needing to find a space available. £5 for collection, easily worth it if you know what you want and can order online rather than entering the madhouse.

I had to return few items and I waited 30-40 mins. The staff working there were just killing time. Only 1 young girl, Najma were serving customers quicker than any of them. She deserve this comment. My advise to the manger at the RETURN Unit employee more staff like her.

I ordered a shelving unit last weekend, paid £40 for home delivery and received it today. Shocking that when I opened the box, I realized that it came without nails, just the structure. I called to complain about this and guess what, I have to wait 10 days to receive what is missing. Disappointing when I already waited a week. More attention to detail needed as I know some friends who experienced the same issue. Although I must say they did offer me £20 voucher.

The store is very well looked after especially during the Coronavirus period. The staff is hard to find, and at times unfriendly. I am not sure, why staff have an attitude. Further, reminders in the store for people is absolute necessary to keep the disinfecting their hands, and to wear their masks. Restaurant is perfect and very clean. Very well done!
